I did like,location is perfec, rooms are clean and comfy...

I didn't like that smoking is available et hotel...should be at least one third of capacity smoking free!

The location within Shanghai. The proximity of Grandma's restaurant.

The breakfast was disgusting. The terrace in front of the room (# 518) was unclean. The carpet in the room (#518) stuck to feet. The receptionists were actually ineffective.

The toilet is very nice, the beds are comfortable.

To provide internet in the room. My friend's room has a computer and internet but not my room. To have staff that are more well verse in travel to interesting sights in Shanghai and more brochures in the hotel to assist the guests in their travels.

Great location, 7 min walk to East Nanjing Rd shopping area and metro station plus 5 min walk to the Bund & 10 min walk to Old town. Nice big clean room

Wifi was no good in my room, full signal but very slow internet (felt like old dial-up speed) staff spoke good english but were not overly friendly. 1 elevator can be a pain when waiting during busy times. Aa a solo male traveller I was hasseld by all the pimps and hookers in the area but if you ignore them they will eventually walk away. As soon as I walked out of East Nanjing station I was pounced on by them all and learned not to acknowledge them (not the hotels fault but just to be aware of the area)

10 mins walk to the nanjing road and the bund. Good prices

Beds are very hard not suitable for european toursits

Best place in Shanghai, near the Bund. Aceptable price for the situation. Clean hotel, in the center but still quiet. Rooms are nice and they have fast cable internet.

They ask for too high deposit. In my second visit the took 5000 rmb as deposit for 11 days, it's crazy high, over 600 €. Also the sound of the room doors when you leave them opened it's annoying, specially during the night.

Room was a good size. Close to the Bund and Nanjing Road.

The price seemed good for a 4 star hotel, but I question if it is one. Maybe when it was first built, but everything is a bit dirty and run down now. The room smelled of smoke, even though we specifically asked for a non smoking room.

Thin walls - room was quite noisy...

The location is excellent: very close to the Bund, People's Sq. And Nanjing Road.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Internet mostly does not work, water temperature is not stable, personnel totally ignores "do not disturb" signes, breakfast is unedible, and, lastly, the window of your room can go into a stairwell, I.E. not at all into the street. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location is great, rooms are spaciuos and clean. The room I stayed was old and had problems with wc - so I've been moved on my request to a much better room without any questions. Breakfast is good

1. Room carpets need proper cleaninig. 2. Dining room leaves an impression of a venue adapted for dining in a slapdash manner - strange adjacent rooms with strange stuff being stored in them, constant cold wind from street blowing in-and-out, staff eating in the same room at 10:30... 3. Poor English skills - receptionists could not help me to clarify my way to the hotel in other city. PS. They wanted to charge me 20 Y for a map!

During the Check in process we were required to deposit 2000 RMB. We find this amount outrageous ! to say the list as all other hotels we stay in required a fraction of this amount. Thanks Shanghai Baron Business Hotel but I don;t think we will chosse your services once again!

Beautiful room. Very very spacious room with huge bed. i love the room. Wireless internet is very good. Location is very good. right next to the bund and shopping area, metro. But in a quiet corner.

The spa is lousy. it's not clean, not cheap.

Staff can't speak English, often ignore us when we requested for assistance. We requested for a non smoking, quiet, twin room. First night, got a double room that felt like it used to have smokeholic staying there. There was also a steam pipe of some sort running through the roof of the room which make me thought there was a minor earthquake when they start the kitchen or the landry up. When we asked to change the room, the answer was wait until the next day. Not very impress.

They did not clean the room and change towels etc every day.

Good location, few minutes walk to the Bund, also within walking distance of the Yu Gardens and Nanjing shopping street. Spacious and clean room. Computer in the room. Good value for money! Recommended!
