A 5-minute walk from Line 1 Xinzha Road subway station, Shanghai Soho offers affordable rooms with 1930's décor and free internet in public areas. A cafe and bar are available. Located along Suzhou Creek, Shanghai Soho International Youth Hostel is a 15-minute walk from Nanjing Road Walking Street and 2 miles from The Bund. Hongqiao International Airport is 11 miles away. Air-conditioned rooms feature views of the adjacent city park and cable TV. They have a private bathroom with hot/cold shower facilities. Guests can relax with foot massages or watch a movie at the movie room. Alternatively, they can read in the library, or play a game of pool. Love the Pub downstairs, Food is lovely. Beer's cold, though could improve abit on staff's basic english. Internet/WIFI seem to not working with any apple products, my ipad with several others' iphones/ipads werent able to connect to the hostel's WIFI.

Location, is peaceful place not far away from Peoples Square, take metro ( Xinza Lu metro station, line 1), walk is also possible The price/value relation, you can get the room of the same quality for 1/3 of Soho hostel rate in other hostels. Don't let you fool by the nice pictures, it is a normal hostel just with wall papers. Staff didn't speak fluent English.

design is great! place to relax outside & inside the hotel is so cool! it`s suitable for spending time with friends, with other guests of the hostel. Interesting space for interesting yang people. price-quality is perfect. I will recomend this hostel to all my friends!! cleanness of the carpet was the only one minus

Location was great - 5 minutes from Subway (Xinzha Road Station). The place is ideal for young, open minded people. Wifi was better at our room than in public space (and according to hostel description WiFI should be available in public space only - nice surprise then:). The building doesn't look good from outside but we were surprised when we entered to the hostel, I really liked its design. The staff was helpful and speaking good english. Cheap and good beer in the bar Tsingdao:-) Breakfast was quite poor.. And only after first night and for one person (twin room booked). In comparison with other places in China (sometimes even better), it was quite expensive. Massage that you can get at the hostel is not recommended. You can get better massage on professional bed and less expensive somewhere else.

дешевое проживание. персонал на рецепции: внимательные девочки,все объясняют на английском языке. чистое белье, санузел. в самый раз для молодежи, студентов. страшненький отельчик, выглядит не так как на фото. ребенок боялся вампиров - действительно обстановочка такая. выглядит на картинках гораздо лучше. с чемоданами от такси и метро до входа идти 5-10 минут. пешком в развлекательные и торговые центры не дойдешь. только ехать. до центра и набережной примерно 20 йен на такси. рядом пара маркетов и макдональдс в который зашли в ночью - а там везде на всех скамейках и столах спят бомжи. кушать там не хотелось.

много интересных молодых людей из разных стран мира проживают в отеле. местный колорит. соседство с уютной набережной. близость от метро. отсутствие окон в номерах выходящих на улицу.

Camera confortevole (matrimoniale con bagno, quella definita "business", ne vale la pena per la trascurabile differenza di prezzo), ambiente giovane e frizzante, posizione ok sia per la vicinanza a People Square (1 fermata di metro, la stazione della linea 1 è a 3 minuti a piedi) che per la tranquillità (è interno rispetto a Xinzha Road, attaccato a un piccolo parco, quindi silenzioso). Dopo le prime 3 notti prenotate dall'Italia, abbiamo confermato per le altre 7). Tornassi a Shanghai, prenoterei ancora il Soho, senza dubbio.

замечаательный отель для тех кто хочет расслабиться и отдохнуть в окруженным атмосферой молодости, бильярд, отличный бар, дизайн 30 годов, все аккуратно и стильно, по молодежному. оооочень понравилось. только туда. немного ванная протекала.

It has not bad location, and a cute bar. But that is all...Their all room service and room conditions are too bad... The hotel is real bad...The worst I have been, I think... The room is dirty, shower water is tiny, the tub is blocked, the closestool brush is hanging up near to toilette paper only 4-5cm. In the second day the room clean was bad done, they have thrown the garbage bag just beside my baggage. I have told them the shower water problem at first night, but they sent the repairman knocked my room at second night 20:30 clock. I don't understand why they wasted whole day time, why they couldn't do it when I was outside. They have one electrical motor room at 2nd floor, so we can hear motor noise whole night. And another awful thing is: I have ordered room with window, but finally I think it is more like live in a cellar, because we must stand on the bed to arrive the window, and outside of window it is Enclosed Corridor.
