Shanghai Fish Inn Bund    

Had a lovely stay here! The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The location was very good, only 15-20 mins walk to the bund and shopping areas. The room was great, nicely decorated and the bathroom was big and clean. Was very impressed with what we got for the price.

The only thing was that we were on the third floor and the wifi signal was not that good.

it is a value hotel which has a great location, just 5 minutes drive to shopping center and about 10 minutes walk to the Bund. Hotel provide free wifi. Staffs are very help full with good English.

The hotel was a great location, 5 min walking to the subway and to the shooping street. The rooms are simple but very clean. The staff is kind and helpfull and she speaks perfect english.

English of the staff is excellent and they were so helpful. The design of the rooms, which are newly renovated, including the bathrooms, was excellent. Location was about 10-15min stroll to the Bund.

The central hallway areas were not as nicely renovated as the rooms and reception.

The location is great, close to the bund and the shopping street. Staff was helpful. They have laundry service. Rooms are big and they gave a us a superior room for the same price as the stardart.

Basic accommodations, but very clean! The rooms had hard laminate floors and duvets on the bed (instead of the grubby sticky carpeting and never-washed bedspreads often found at hotels in this price range). Internet connection was rather slow but always functional.

The Hotel is located in one of the best place to visit Shangai: The Bund near East Nanjing Road station. Very confortable hotel and nice and professional staff: thanks to Ivy, Candice, Julia... for all the help.

This was a very nice budget friendly Inn. The rooms were cozy, bathrooms were great! Location was very good. I would definitely recommend to people who like staying in smaller intimate lodgings!

Only complaint would be poor lighting next to bed making it difficult to read in bed.

A bit noisy environment.

This was our second time staying here, this time I booked the 3 bedroom apartment. It is very basic, which was fine. One bedroom does not have a window, this might put some people off, tbh it suited us as I did not have to keep worrying about our youngest falling out the window. There are 2 other bedrooms, 1 with a high window to the outside and one with a window onto the hotel corridor. If you like a lot of natural light this would not be the place for you. There was a comfortable sofa and tv in the Livingroom area. The shower was fantastic. Also a big bonus for us was that Sherpa's online food delivery deliver there. So we had our pick of great shanghai restaurants and were able to enjoy the food in our room without trailing the children to restaurants late in the evening. It is a 5 minute walk to exit 5 east nanjing road subway with line 2, so direct to either shanghai airport. The staff were super nice and speak excellent English, they also seem to offer a very popular and reasonably priced breakfast. The AC's worked great.

The wifi did not work in the room, luckily we had a laptop which we plugged in using a wire and then shared connectivity to our other devices. Worked out great. . I was disappointed there was no fridge, I wasn't expecting a kitchen but a fridge would have been really useful.

We stayed at this Hotel for 8 nights and loved everything.The staff speaks a good english and is always ready when anything is needed.Mr.Casey is very helpfull and wrote in mandarin every time we needed to take a taxi, or to go to another place.Thank you for being so kind.The 2 girls are also kind.

Great little Hotel The Fish Inn Bund has a perfect location - everything is nearby. The rooms are nice decorated, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern with a good size. It is very clean. But what it makes realy special is the great staff. They are very friendly and help you with everything and they speak a very good english. Especially one female staff member who was new in the team. She accompanied me (in her free time) to a pharmacy and to a hospital to get medicine for my wife, who was ill. Without their help I would have never made it, because very little English is spoken in China - even in international pharmacies. Again thank you very much for your help. We would stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone. Deluxe Double Room / April 2013

The location is excellent within walking distance of Bund, Nanking shopping street, metro station. Staff speaks excellent English and very helpful

Mattress was really comfortable!!!!! I appreciated bathroom with large shawer. hotel provided kit shower and shower slippers. 2 bottles of water are offered upon arrival. no noise at all ! close to metro station! (mt250/300) If i will be in Shanghai in the future for sure I'll come here!
