Im Restaurant schlechte Bedienung. Essen war nicht zufriedenstellend. Außerhalb des Hotels ist nur Einöde. Keine anderen Restaurants etc. Hotel ist sehr alt. Frühstück ist sehr bescheiden. (nichts für Außländer)

The price, sort of. In fact it was still to expensive for what you get. The fact is, someone built a nice place in the middle of nowhere but they do not maintain it, so that is why I say, the price is cheap but you get what you pay for.

Staff is too busy arguing to help customers. Ceiling in bathroom was falling in and water was leaking down. Many things broken, nothing anywhere around except the airport, only 1 person barely spoke English, everything smells like smoke.

Nice pleasant hotel, clean. All you can eat breakfast buffet is included and is decent value. Always at least one reception desk girl on duty who can speak English. Reception desk girls always went out of their way to help me with anything I needed assistance with. Big supermarket across the street and several places to eat and buy small things within walking distance. Free shuttle bus to Pudong Airport.

Location is very poor if you are looking to transit back and forth to the city during your stay; it's much too far and inconvenient. However, it is okay if you are just in transit and need to get to and from Pudong Airport (approx 5 to 8km or 15 minutes driving), and there is a free shuttle bus. Not very soundproof in terms of noise from traffic and adjacent rooms.

Comfortable room

Not good value for money. They precise "European breakfast" but there is mainly Chinese stuff (the only European part is white bread and jam). The location in the suburbs makes difficult to find a taxi.

Nice clean room for a low price. In the morning free transportation to the airport!

In the hotel was cold, but in the room it was ok. There is a Chinese breakfast, but I was not hungry. (There were toasts and rice)

The room. The room was a great size with a nice large bathroom.

The staff were unable to speak much English and seemed unwilling to help me use the internet and TV, which in the end I didnt get to use at all. They also asked me for payment when I had already payed online and then asked for a deposit which I was unaware of.

Facilities are OK. The staffs tried to find the device to connect with my labtop.

Stuff are not nice when we late at the check out they were all acting up even though we didn't see anyone accept us and it was very far away can't even find taxi ... Privet car very expensive and small car no shops no Resturant near it or go to city 200 rmb

The fact that they were able to arrange taxi at 4 in the morning as their shuttle service starts at 6:30 Am.

The website says that it's 15 mins from the airport. No!! It's atleast 35 mins. And that too off peak hours. The staff is English challenged. Not a very great hotel. But begets can't be choosers.

We are well-travelled and extremely easy-going, this hotel tested the most patient of people in the check-in line. For starters, hotel shuttle had been pre-arranged and never showed up, so after a very long wait we had the expense of an unplanned-for taxi from the airport. Tried to call the hotel after spending money on a chinese sim simply to make the call only to be greeted by non-English speaking reception who hung up on us. Credit card machine was "broken" upon arrival and check-in and they demanded cash only, we were left high and dry and had to negotiate with the only cash we had on us. This was all on a long lay-over on our way to Australia, needless to say we had not taken Yuan (chinese currency) for a one-night stay for a pre-booked hotel stay and airport shuttle when our arrangements were booked with Visa. Arrived at 6:00pm, considered in most parts of the world to be early evening. They acted as though it was the middle of the night. On-site restaurant and store not open so there was no food available, period. Hotel is located basically in the middle of nowhere, our airport taxi driver could not locate it. About 25 mins from the airport so not really 'close' to the airport and also still about an hour from Shanghai so truly not near anything. Through the thick air pollution, everything in and around the hotel looked positively scary and grim and I have travelled through actual slums that were less scary. In actuality, everything in and around the Shanghai airport is a slum. Another reviewer posted about a grocery store across the street, I certainly did not see one. Our worst experience to date, I will not return to or flight through China ever again! :(

Close to the airport free shuttle value for money

It was cold and no heating in the lobby/restaurant and other public areas smell of perished food in the restaurant the staff does not speak English the attempt to charge additional cash as a "safety deposit"

Boring surroundings out in the suburbs but works if you want to stay relatively close to the airport. Taxi drivers didn't find the hotel. The staff spoke very poor English. Lousy breakfast. They didn't ask how we wanted to pay, just “took” the money from the card we gave to Booking.com when we booked the room.

Many reviews slammed the hotel's staff. I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. Though there was only one English speaking staff member on duty at any given time, she would always assist. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, I'm sure as the kitchen was closing but the kitchen staff remained there for us. The front desk attendant that spoke English assisted us with our order and selecting menu items. Some of the restaurant staff even came out to assist my daughter, trying to help her better use he chop sticks. For the value, this was a good hotel. The room was larger than expected and the breakfast was a Western/Chinese mix of food.

The hotel is located on the far side of the airport. It took about 20 minutes to get there by the hotel provided shuttle.

Good place regarding the Pudong Airport - 10 minutes transfer! )) p.s.: a little bit crazy transfer driver, red light, green light - it doesn't matter! )))

Unfriendly staff members (receptionists) - Check in process took 45 mins to complete from the time we started the check in process - the receptionist barely spoke any English and kept interrupting the check in process to serve other clients - I have specifically asked during check in and while checking and out that I would like to pay in cash, but the receptionist ignored my requests and directly debitted the card I used to make the booking on booking.com, which was only supposed to serve as a guarantee. It is mentioned explicitly in the booking that payment will be made upon check out (isn't it customary to ask for the actually physical card when charging?) The room was not very clean. There was hair all over the bathroom floors, the bed sheets seemed clean but the bathrooms condition made me question the cleanliness of the bedroom.

Very good location especially to airport. Courtesy bus both ways was very much appreciated. Room was very comfortable, neat, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was more than adequate and built into price which was convenient. Hotel great value for money Highly recommended to others

The hotel is located near to Shanghai Pudong airport and the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to the airport which you must book when you arrive at the hotel. The journey takes about 15 minutes. The hotel's rooms are large and the room has everything you need such as toothbrushes, shower gels, shampoos, a hairdryer, Internet connection, etc..

The breakfast buffet was not international enough, had little choice for vegetarians and practically no choice for vegans.

the main reason i booked this hotel was for a layover my wife had in Shanghai, and this hotel claimed to provide a free shuttle from the airport. She was arriving at Pudong late at night, so I emailed and called the hotel to find out where the shuttle left from and confirm it operated at that hour. My emali was not returned, but on the phone I was assured the hotels driver would pick her up at that hour, and I was even given his cell number. Of course, when my wife arrived and called the hotel, she was told to take a cab, no such driver existed, he did not answer his cell, and after a half hour wait at the taxi stand, the cab could not find the hotel, and ended up charging 45 RMB for what is supposed to be a 5 mile drive, I would not recommend this hotel if you like your service providers to preform what they promise on their website and personally over the phone.

Close to the airport and free shuttle bus. Market nearby. Big room. Helping stuff. Good for short stay when using pvg airport.

Nothing to see and do around. Poor breakfest and basic cleaness. Difficult to communitate in english. WiFi only close to the Reception area not in room. Not at all english tv chanels. No tourist information, maps etc. (can be collected in the airport) Shuttle bus should be asked by the phone as taxi driver from the aiport didnot know the way.

close to the air port, stayed because of it. just the night to catch the flight the next day. lonely place but ideal for business traveller,

no international food for foreign travellers, only mostly seafood. even breakfast was 100percent chinese.

Very luxurious and clean hotel for the price. Nice girls working at the reception. They make an effort to help you even if they can't speak English very well. However, one or two can speak good English. The tv in my room wasn't working so I reported it to reception. Within 5 minutes someone was at my room to fix it. Quite impressed. Large supermarket across the road opens at 8am and closes at 9pm, however, there is a small store at the reception for drinking water and other snacks if needed after the store closes. The prices are higher than the supermarket, but still very cheap when converting to usd, eur, aud etc. Buffet breakfast is included and was really quite good. Lunch and dinner on offer also and are reasonably priced. Good hotel, have stayed there twice and will stay again.

No issues this time. However, be sure to call the hotel reception from the business centre at PuDong airport (if you don't have a Chinese mobile phone) to request for the free shuttle bus to pick you up, otherwise you could be waiting a long time!
