I must say my stay during with the hotel was more than excellent...it is amazing !!! Especially their staff who in the front desk...big thanks to Helen and Christine who helped so much throughout the stay. Their kindness Is much Appreciated

There were dust behind the Wc door

Wonderful architecture and interior design. The location also provided one with a slice of life in Beijing's hutong neighbourhoods. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay in the hotel.

Das Zimmer hatte leider kein echtes Fenster also kein Tageslicht ist wohl bei alllen Zimmern der Fall.

De behaaglijke inrichting. Het bijzonder vriendelijke personeel. De schoonheid van het gebouw, letterlijk en figuurlijk. Prettige omgeving. Gunstig gelegen voor bezichtigingen alle kanten van de stad op.

De omgeving, een hutong, deed mij bij aankomst schrikken, maar was juist een groot voordeel en gaf veel te kijken en te zien.

Some taxis don't know the adress and as they only speak chinese it becomes difficult to find a way out... Advise: call the hotel and let them speak together wifi out of order

酒店所在的區域交通很方便，周遭有數個歷史景點，酒店本很精巧、安靜及整潔，服務人員的接待也很好

早上餐點內容稍弱些，飯店提供的旅遊地圖再精準些會更好，那區域裡有許多值得一遊的景點

Ett underbart litet " courtyard hotell" mitt i Pekings hutongområde,och nära Houhai lakes. Allt var topp,små rum ,men de hade allt,i minsta detalj god design och omtänksamt inrett med komfort såväl som hänsyn till byggnadens historia. Skuggspels teaterföreställning tre kvällar i veckan. Vi var där på julafton och då inbjöds vi med hotellets personal och övriga gäster att göra dumpnings tillsammans,se på skuggteater och ta ett glas vin,mycket trevligt! Hotellet kan rekommenderas å det varmaste.

Le petit théâtre d'ombres chinoises et la gentillesse des artistes (à ne pas manquer si vous voyagez avec des enfants), le quartier pittoresque et bien situé, la décoration de l'hôtel et sa taille modeste, le petit déjeuner.

Le niveau d'anglais très moyen du personnel qui rend la communication difficile, la mauvaise insonorisation de l'hôtel, la sonnerie des portes des chambres inutile et agaçante et l'absence de fenêtre, même intérieure, dans notre chambre standard.

Maar één ding was soms lastig; de beheersing van de Engelse taal was bij sommige baliemedewerkers onvoldoende. De omgeving, een hutong, deed mij bij aankomst schrikken, maar was juist een groot voordeel en gaf veel te kijken en te zien. dus een pluspunt!

Pretty, modern interior. Nice breakfast. Helpfull staff, but limited knowledge of English.

Room had no window, except a window to the hallway. The window to the hallway had no curtains, hence it was impossible to make it dark in the room.

隔音效果太差，一个走道里的开关门声、说话的声音、走路的声音 全部听得一清二楚，一个晚上没睡好 床上有虫子，睡一夜，起了3个红包包 早餐很少选项

The shadow art pieces and performances, the cultural aspect, he design and style of the the hotel. Also liked the location.

The service from its night staff. Uninformed and inaccurate. Not helpful, not proactive. Even girls serving at its counter at breakfast were uncertain, not proactive, did not come up to guests to ask if they needed a drink etc. Some staff's English a bit dodgy too.

酒店整体设计感还不错~ 尤其是酒店大堂~~ 酒店几个前台接待服务都很不错 很nice,乐于助人~~ 早餐还可以,可以拿进房间吃,入住前会让你选择中还是西~ 地理位置我觉得不错 去哪里都还算方便~~ 有皮影戏表演~~但是没看到 比较可惜~~~

房间的设施只能算普通~ 还不能算是精品酒店的类型~~所以相对于这个价格,性价比一般~~

It was very quiet. The reception area was interesting and furnished beautifully. The interior courtyard was peaceful.

My friends recommended this hotel,they had a lovely room opening out over the interior courtyard.I on the otherhand as a single traveller once again had an amazing of a white brick wall 2metres away!

我和朋友提前1个多月订了2间标房，并得到确认，一直满心期待的和小朋友想看这家独特皮影文化酒店，但却在- 出行前两周被通知由于客户量少原因暂停招待，让我们换到酒店旗下一家据说更高档的紫檀文化主题酒店，而且升- 级2高级套房，虽说升级了，但小朋友游玩的主题的就不一样了，心就凉了一截。 入住后，实际是升级了一间高级套房和一标间，而朋友房间更出现了床单有长头发、马桶不能用、淋浴头出水如丝- 一般等问题，虽服务员也主动更换皮单及提出升级总统套房等办法，但我们比较胆小，晚上“参观”了负一层的“- 总统套房”，小朋友表示害怕负一层套房的“阴深”，本想换其它普通房间算了，服务员却表示也存在其它硬件设- 施失修问题，当晚我们就只有等维修师傅修马桶了。话说到这也实在谢谢维修师傅，当晚大过年的，师傅在10分- 钟时间就赶到来维修。 建议：1、酒店紫檀文化底蕴深厚，也让我们感受到酒店的气派，但还是建议酒店晚上还是要增加多点灯光和附有- 生气的装饰，尤其负一层的灯光，不然晚上实在有诡异的感觉。2、酒店的硬软件能否勤加检修； 这次没住上皮影主题我们一直觉得让是旅程的遗憾，但让我们入住了你们的紫檀酒店后，实在有点让我们失望

Loved it. A very authentic place in the heart of the old town, literally 5minute walk from hou hai lake which was beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, very eager to help with anything. The shadow art performances just adds to the culture of the place.

The outside location is deceiving, it's far from the shabby narrow street it's on. No restuarant facilities or an actual bar.

We had a reservation for a room category called "Suite" and got at our arrival in the morning our creditcard charged immediatly. At our check-in in the afternoon we got without any comment a standard room. After longer discussion we could manage to get the booked room. Absolute no-go!! Secondly, the description "Suite" is absolutely misleading: In fact it is a room of approx 20m2 + 15m2 bath room. There is no seating apart from the window bay, bedside table only on one side, insufficient lightening, no minibar. Summarized: the so called Suite is nice to see but minimum standard, far away from the declared 4star.
