Near to the airport

Expensive room price. Very expensive restaurants and bar

Close to the airport, good for a stopover.

Overpriced. The room was large, but dated. I had a suite, and the living room/kitchen smelled like smoke. Luckily the bedroom didn't smell so much. The breakfast was decent, but not worth the price - 120RMB. It was very crowded, I had to eat with a few other people, which was ok - no common language, however. Gym does not open until 10am, so no early morning workout.

I am disabled and the bus with a porter picked my friend and myself up at the airport as requested. The bus and porter also helped me to the check in when leaving. Being near the aqirport waiting for our next flight.

16 drinks in the bar cost 200 pounds which is an average months wage

Only positive remark was that it was very close to airport, so useful for those with early flights out of Beijing (as in our case). Hotel also had a free shuttle bus to airport (and into the city, I seem to recall).

Staff distant, if a little surly. Dining choices all very over-priced and not good value for money. Swimming pool freezing cold....Room unclean, will not write what was on the shower curtain but it was revolting to say the least!

The hotel is near to the airport, and I wanted a clean room and a hot bath for my overnight stay, and I got just that. There were no complications, staff seemed knowledgeable and spoke a bit of English. Had dinner in Chopsticks restaurant, and I had far better Chinese food outside China. Breakfast at hotel restaurant ( the continental, can't remember now the name) was very decent though.

I was checking out and I saw the shuttle depart, I asked the staff to go tell the driver to wait for 2 minutes, and the doorman just did not want to go out, he waved his hands and with a bored expression said some words to the staff I asked to hold the van. Not the end of the world, there are shuttles every 30 min and he is the doorman, maybe had a bad day. But that is not what he is paid for, and those 30 minutes could have been crucial for me.

Its proximity to the exhibition centre. The large choice of restaurants.

Someone tried to rip me off for a taxi ride from the airport and threatened me with violence. I appealed to the hotel staff to help me deal with the man but they didn't seem to care.

if you leae the hotel at an earlier time thaan the first shuttle, deal taxi price before even going inside.

The first room given smelled smoky although marked as " non-smoking room." I strongly request to better check the rooms after departure of guests because this is embaraasing for non smokers. However, your staff gave me immediately a better room. Thanks.

shuttle really not easy to find at the airport

- very close to the airport (10-15min, it was for a 1 night transit) - free shuttle to and from the airport (every 1/2h, starting at 5:30 in the morning for terminal 1,2 and 5h45 for terminal 3) - good value for money - very comfy and clean - free ethernet in the room (cable provided) - different types of restaurant + swimming pool

shuttle *really* difficult to find at the airport: on terminal 3, it's in the parking lot at the parking slot C08-18 (which is between C08-74 and C08-76 :-) ! People usually don't speak very well english at the airport, so you need to find someone (information centre) who knows where to go, write it down on a paper, and then show your paper to any employee you meet who will show you the direction (everyone was friendly and eager to help). When you find the slot, you just have to believe the people you met before and wait there (usually alone) until a shuttle arrives. On the way back, the shuttle was very easy.

The internet was unavailable which is not acceptable for business travel.

The airport shuttle never arrived to pick us up at the airport. We paid quite a bit to take a taxi to the hotel and almost missed our ride tot the Great Wall. When we explained what happened to the hotel staff at the front desk they simply laughed at us. They were quite rude and not the least bit helpful.

Very friendly staff. I hope to see them again soon.

As of most of the hotels inChina there really areno nonsmoking rooms. Even with signs at the check indesk people werelighting up right in front. OURNONSMOKING ROOM HAD ASHTRAYS AND SMEL!ED OF SMOKE
