Excellent location as attached to a very central metro station. Friendly English speaking staff. Great value.
Window opened into dark shaft, hard beds. No choices for breakfast.
Fantastic hostel, the best I've stayed in, in 8 weeks across Europe & Asia. Stones throw from tube stop, in city center location. Staff were amazingly attentive, soo friendly & helpful- spoke excellent English, always smiling! Great modern room, that was really clean, tv, air con, great bathroom with fantastic powerful hot shower! Breakfast excellent, bacon, eggs and sausage & toast! 2 min walk away from the Happy Dragon Gh where my friends stay! I've stayed i hotels for £50 and they have not been anywhere near as good as this Hostel. It's really Fantastic! Many thanks to everyone who works there!
Wi F&i slightly slow, but hardly a complaint!
Location was really good Near wangfujie And the subway! Breakfast wasn't bad Eggs, susage, bacon , butter and jam " very american" I read that there is no coffee so I brought my instant coffee bag! They serve hot water so bring ur coffee! ^_^ for the price facilities were gd Toothbrush, tooth paste and only a shower gel / no saop or shampoo so bring urs! room had Towels and Slippers and toilet paper
No shampoo No coffee or tea No hand soap No free water and of course u don't wanna use water tab in china So bring urs! ^_^ No phone so if u needed smt u have to go down to the reception No satiliet tv only local chinese channels but thats the norm in China
Everything is good!
improve on wifi speed, feel scary on corridor lighting ( too dark)
Conveniently located next to Dongsi Mrt station and A big supermarket with a food court within walking distance. I reckon that it is not a common practice to have your bedsheets or towels changed daily in China but our request for a daily change of towels was obliged.
The American breakfast included in the room rate would be better if coffee or tea is included. Water pressure for the shower was not strong and the water temperature was not very hot.
Great location, very good place for being a hostel. Acceptable breakfast
NO TELEPHONE IN ROOMS FOR LOCAL CALLS
- Location of the hotel - Breakfast - Wi-fi - Size of the bed - Air conditioner, heat - Hot shower - Nice staff
Nothing, everything was good, this is very nice HOTEL not HOSTEL.
-quick checkin/out -helpful staff (24hr) -very close to subway line5
-room need to be cleaned well -slippers does not seem very clean (better to use disposable slippers) -towels were old & not much clean
- great trip to the Great Wall - english speaking stuff - friendly and helpful - close to subway - bakery close - thanks to all for the help and advice, its so precious that somebody can speak english in China and give real advice - good organized trips
- breakfast was little bit poor but eatable - thin walls - little bit slippery shower floor, but its so cheap place to stay,so maybe these things does not really matter
The location is good, you can find entrance of 2 subways just few step from hotel door, perfect easy access to the attractions. Breakfast was good, but hopefully next time they would give a drink with it (tea or coffee). Staff, Pao, is a nice helpful guy. The female staff was ok. But for rest staffs, could be more friendly. They speak english, so no problem to communicate with them and they always answer questions when you asked though. Early check in was good, and check out was fast.
The bed is quite hard. Bathroom tools could have some of improvements (change the rust tools to new ones).
I loved the location in the center. I liked the kind staff. Breakfast is delicious. They know a lot information and they like to share it. There is accommodated a lot tourists as well so you can get to know them. Room was very comfy.
Not sure about the price and two star hotel but it is nothing i find major. Wifi at the third floor was ok but slow.
staff very helpful and cou. ld speak english place very close to the subway which is a good good plus
the wifi was very slow and bad. the breakfast did not have coffee included.
Location is very close to 2 metro lines in the city center. Rooms are good and the neighbourhood is quite. Breakfast is good but without drinks.
Staff was really helpful and attentive. Location besides a subway station makes it very easy to visit all the tourist points of Beijing.
Taking a shower would mean washing the bathroom.
Location is right beside DongSi subway station, just within a few steps away there are McCafe, restaurants and grocery market.
It was less than 10 degrees that time but the heater was malfunctioning for two days, therefore i give a "poor" for facilities. Other than that it is worth staying.
It had a roof?!
Beijing is so well connected by the 2 yuan per journey train so this location is not an advantage. The bed is SO hard, the place was unclean, the bathroom was flooded after a shower, the aircon made a very strange sound which woke us up through the night, the staff were rude. I had some laundry done and said i need it back by 10pm as i had an early morning flight. They said OK. It wasnt ready at 10 am so I waited until the morning at 6 am and they gave me it back damp. The breakfast was horrendous and did not come with everything it said it did. They then chraged me extra for 2 "pieces" of toast which is actually one piece of toast cut in half! They reluctantly moved our room on the last night and said sorry for the noisy air-con unit. We then saw a new couple move straight into our old room. So they obviously don't care about the customers. If you do have any problems here it is worth complaining as I got a very small refund (but a refund is better than nothing!).
Location is absolutely perfect, the metro station is right out of the door, wanfujing street is a 10 minute walk.. The hotel is clean and comfortable
No complains really, we got what we paid.. For the price it has the facilities are perfect
It's right on the subway station for lines 5 and 6. supermarket and atm very close and a GREAT bakery in the corner (holiland) with good coffee. 24 hours front desk.
There is no nice open space to sit in.
I don't like anything
Air conditioner not working, when asked they said Beijing is cold in October. totally poor, not recommended to anyone.
- Nice rooms; good facilities - Good WiFi for China! - Nice staff - Great location two steps from metro
- No dorms or communal area; - Restaurant very rarely open; however many restaurants outside
Very basic and simple hotel, but clean and very well located. Also nice staff
Bed a bit unconfortable
Location - central, close to Dongsi station English speaking staff, very helpful
Slow wifi in our bedroom Phone ringing sometimes annoying (our room was close to the reception) A bit of noise in the corridor in the morning sometimes Only one towel No chair in the bedroom
Enjoyable vacation I have in Beijing China. Nice room and good staff who accomodate us and good thing is they can speak english well. The value of room is quiet good, not expensive.
