Great location for Shenzhen, 10 minute walk to Lohu station, great small family restaurants all around, pool, spa, clean, and enjoyed my stay

Metro not far but when raining too far.

The temperature in the hotel outside of the rooms was freezing all the time and most unecessary. The breakfast each morning was also very ordinary compared to other hotels.

we travel the world and the sunshine hotel is right at the top group . will be back to stay

Receptionists and staff are arrogant.

Felt little old. Lots of dark wood. Breakfast tables and chairs are on bamboo...

Good Security. Location is amazing and hotel is very clean.

I liked the ambience, peace and quiet. Needed a place to relax for one night before my long flight home, I got and it didnt disappoint.. I will definately go back and tell others. They even gave an extension of check out time to 2 P.m as I had a late night flight. I loved it.

The fact that my booking confirmation was not communicated to the hotel. So I spent about an hour at the reception trying to convince them.

We stayed at the executive floor room 2012 ,imperial wing, which has a balcony (though amazingly interior)..from 18 dec til 20th dec. The hotel was SUPERB...room, cleanliness, ambience of the place, vip treatment..everything in the imperial wing. Dear Ladies..the bathroom and amneties are SPA-wonderful. Swimming pool small but warm and good enough, 1.3m deep. Charges apply to use pool table, miniature golf (lovely) 170yuan per person with sticks and balls inclusive..pricey. Did not try the spa. No time. Breakfast is included..you can ask them any food (cookable n available that is..) or eat whats prepared. For MUSLIMS..please take extra extra care .. food may look vegetarian but always ask the waitress if the mee or vege were fried using pork oil?..any pork meat in it? potato wedges pork oil? The cha koi (chinese bread) apparently pork oil was used to fry.. "Ya Allah please grant us forgiveness ...." Go for cereals, salad , ask for eggs sunny side up..makes a great sandwich with toasted bread.. On 2nd morning, we ask the waitress whether we can have fried mee using palm oil and fry with eggs and vegetables only.. Hey presto ..the chef was accomodating and we ate delicious halal fried mee. I know ..what abt the utensils used? ... Bismillahitawakkaltu.. I studied and ate in England before. Thank God that the taxis in shenzhen have meters.. For muslim travellers..take a taxi to Shenzhen Muslim hotel, about 8 mins to 10 mins drive,price 12 yuan, to get halal food. Restaurant Service there is quite slow (ground flr, there's another restaurant @ 1st flr tho' same kitchen) ..so eat there and tapau some food for nxt day. Food average but more importantly..FILLING. The briyani was not nice at all since basmati rice NOT used..only local sticky rice... Other food ok. So far we haven't found any other halal restaurants nearby.. only japanese ..sushi and all.. but very pricey.. Window of world trip from hotel by public taxi about 30 to 40 yuan one way...

The checking in process was quite long and we were cut-queued by a chinese (seems local) who was checking out. The reception cleared him first without "asking or informing us first" and we had to wait....excuse me we are also guests! Thats the only part I am not happy about. The reception of the main building ,to be blunt, not so good (one tall young man not smiling when we were approachimg him.. Once he checked that we stayed at imperial wing then he starts to smile) ...please!!.. Even people staying in main building, the hotel people must be enthusiastically welcomed !

the only aspect of the hotel i found appealing was the foyer but the rest of the hotel is in urgent need of a refurbishment.the rooms are in a poor condition and the views are especially depressing as i had one facing the dirty and unslightly looking rooftops or balconies of other old apartments. the breakfast is also has a very poor selection of the normal english menu

quite frankly most of it was dissapointing

I can not belive this is not a 5 star hotel. This was the 5th time I stayed here. I have been to many hotels in Shenzhen and this is by far the best I have seen. Good price and excelent service.

Superb in every way, staff were polite, spoke very good english, we felt very special, great location with lots of good restaurants, shopping and bars and just 5 mins walk to the metro - Fantastic

I can think of anything bad, I love to stay here again.

room seems a little bit old and dark because of dark wood panels. fixed shower nozzle.

The breakfast is extensive with maybe only cereals missing.

I stayed this time for the first time in the new exactive wing which suppose to be the best, room is much more bigger with more facilities, but there is no view, and very noisy

The Location was great

What I did not like about the SunShine Hotel is that the bathroom was very dirty... Dangerous black fungus was all over the joints of the tiles as well as black fungus on the white silicon sealant around the bath tub... To maintain this would take 60 minutes to scratch clean the joints of the tiles and change the silicon at the edges of the bathtub. Soap scum on the tiles… the tiles needed to be scrubbed and polished.

Cant say enough about this hotel, it was a pleasure staying there. We stayed 2 nights on the way to Hong Kong then another night on the way back and found it to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in in China. Staff were very friendly and helpful and tried their best to make you welcome.

In the city center, staff is very polite, and English speaking. Just one word: Perfect. Rooms are clean and qualitey of amenity sets and towels are perfect.

I woke up at night to use toilet but there is no water there , water come again nrct day morning , Room was very old and the lift also
