Tang Dynasty Art Garden Hotel    

The design and architecture are very nice. The room was comfortable.

The staff at the reception is not good. They do not speak good English. We made a reservation for 4 persons with breakfast included and they wanted only to give us a breakfast for 2. The only guy who is at the reception is very unfriendly and rude. The hotel should consider to fire him or at least change his position.

The hotel was in an excellent location, and was breath-taking when you walked to the room from reception. Xi'an is a great city to visit, I wish could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was very Chinese, but fruit, cereal and bread available.

Hotel is very artistic, close to wild goose pagoda, with a big park adjascent to it... it was a great experience to live in this hotel. The room is clean and big. Staff are very friendly

Breakfast spread should include more conitnental dishes. Being an indian i could not find anything much to eat. No boiled or scrambled egg served

Location is great, room was clean and the hotel is beautiful.

Some staff doesn't speaks english but that's normal in Xi'an.

Aircon didnt work. Front desk staff have rather poor english. Lots of mosquitoes.

The design and ambience of the hotel are fantastic, the staff were very helpful and could communicate in English. The location is superb, right by the Wild Goose Pagoda and some of the most spectacular fountain displays we have ever seen.

Excellent hotel with a lot of charme, our best hotel in China. A bit far from the center , but very ,quiet, close to anice park and very close to the wild goose pagoda.

A wonderfully atmospheric hotel with real character; the location is excellent location the musical performance in the evening was utterly superb.

Compared with other hotels that we used in China, the quality of service could do with some improvement.

Hotel is very quiet and different from all the big chain hotels. Furniture is nice and I especially liked the wooden bath tub. Location is very quiet and directly besides the goose pagoda.

Breakfast is purely Chinese. If you like it is good, otherwise you lost. Public transportation is difficult to get. Next metro station is a 30 min walk away and it is nearly impossible to get a free cab.

Courtyard was great. Very nice place to relax with easy access to the rest of Xi'an. Staff was helpful. Just beautiful and relatively inexpensive for a five star hotel.

Could have been a quiet relaxing stay except for the other guests who were incredibly rude and noisy, especially at night. Also, apparently the rooms adjacent to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are very noisy. Avoid those.

Situated in a beautiful area with large open squares nearby. Really could not be a better location. Had a delightful stay.

The hotel really is a great place to stay at: situated right next to the Wild Goose pagoda and designed like an ancient Chinese palace, it offers nicely decorated rooms and a rich breakfast buffet. After visiting the Terracotta army or the downtown area of Xi'an the hotel guarantees a calm retreat. And at night it is great to leave the hotel and take a stroll in the park surrounding the Wild Goose pagoda.

Staff, design, cleanleness

1h to airport, more then 30 min to center

Some of the rooms face the pedestrian street leading to the pagoda, and are quite noisy and lack privacy. When I complained about this to the reception after check in- I was upgrades to a beautiful courtyard room, without any fuss, at no extra charge. The central courtyard serves a menu of specialty teas and has a classic music ensemble, beautiful but they finish a bit late in the evening. The location next to the Wild Goose pagoda, and the classic Tang architecture were certainly bonuses.

The breakfast is a bit meager and is geared to local tastes. Pork floss buns may be a delicacy but are not everyone's "cup-of-tea", however the hotel cheerfully packed me a takeaway breakfast for my early flight departure. Make sure you book a room facing the courtyard, not the pedestrian street.

Les chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Les jardins typiquement chinois dans l'hôtel. La proximité de la grande pagode de l'oie sauvage.

Un accueil limite en Anglais pour un hôtel de ce niveau : aucune traduction à l'écrit en Anglais. Difficulté de trouver des taxis à l'hôtel.

Хороший красивый отель. Чисто в китайском стиле. Очень красивые номера. Бунгало. Хороший отель для отдыха и путешествий.

Traumhaft schönes Hotel, sehr zentral

1，酒店不大，但很精致。设计古朴。很有中国韵味的设计，但不是很老气和压抑。 2，地段好。门口是大雁塔和音乐喷泉。在宾馆花园休息，抬头就可以看到大雁塔，夜景很不错。 3，在酒店花园的仿古走廊或凉亭吃饭，很有情调。菜的价格适中，不过味道不错。 我最喜欢的是床很舒服。

1，可能是基于安全考虑，榻榻米的玻璃窗有些小，影响到榻榻米区域的采光。否则就可以一边在榻榻米上喝茶看- 书，一边看花园美景了。 2，早餐过于简单，可以加一些地方糕点就好了。

很喜欢酒店的整体风格，古色古香，而且就在大雁塔的旁边，拉开窗帘就能看见，地点也超好，房间很干净，总之- 很满意。

酒店的早餐感觉一般。

Les jardins traditionnels(fontaines,ponts, fleurs) le calme,les chambres sont assez spacieuses et donnent sur les jardins. La musique traditionnelle tous les soirs dans le jardin. Le quartier très animé autour. Personnel gentil et intentionné.

Il reste que ,comme partout en Chine, il est difficile de trouver du personnel qui parle correctement l'anglais.
