Breakfast is not included, but there's a nice selection of food. Wifi is sometimes inconsistent, and there's no cable tv - but who really needs that in a place like this?
We've had an amazing stay at Tea Cozy and we were sad to leave. We arrived after a delay in our flight, but the driver waited for us to take us from Guilin airport to the hotel. When we arrived the staff came running out to help us with our luggage and stayed around to serve us dinner. The rooms and the common areas are nicely decorated and look well kept and clean. At breakfast the second day, Amy talked us through the map of the area and suggested activities for that day (cycling and bamboo rafting). When we returned she had made an entire handwritten schedule with options for activities during our stay (5 nights, 4 whole days), including prices. We ended up doing most of it (mountain view points, caves, mud baths, tai chi lessons, light show, fan painting etc.) and it was absolutely amazing. Everything is taken care of through the room bill, so no need for dealing with cash. The car service is affordable and very nice not to have to worry about getting places, since the area is kind of remote. This also means there's not a lot of restaurant options nearby, but the restaurant at Tea Cozy is excellent with a lot of Chinese and Western food options.
