The Bund Hotel    

Great location. You are central and close to most main attractions in Shanghia. You can pretty much walk to The Bund, Nanjing Road, People's Square, Pudong. The hotel was great value for the price and rooms were very nice and clear/comfortable.

The room did not have a safe deposit box which I wanted. Great to put all valuables in, especially pasport and camera. I believe some rooms have them, but the one I was in did not. Had a cleaning lady walk into the room in the morning which I was not thrilled about. She thought it was empty. I spoke with the staff about it and they quickly looked into it to reassure me it was a mistake on their part and not some random person trying to get into my room. Still was not all that happy about what occured at 6:00am.

Staff is unfriendly and not interested in guest Weddings & parties on the 4th floor are inconvenient and loud no wifi (only paid in lobby) We were charged a lot more money for our last night, as this was "not the booking.com price" which was weird

The Bund Hotel is an attractively presented modern property. Rooms were comfortable, well furnished and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I didn't understand the wifi access policy, The hotel could explain this better, but the staff helped me.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi connection at the lobby. The room was pretty clean. Quite comfortable for the price I'm paying. Value for money and the location is good with 15 minutes walk to the nearest subway.

I had wifi connection from my room on the first night but not the second night. I had to go to the lobby to be connected to wifi.

Very noisy from 7 A.M. till 5 P.M. (a new building is construct next to the hotel). Poor cleaning the rooms.

staff not qualified to deal with customers complains. As a group, I stayed on 12 floor but had no Wi-Fi in the room but my frinds had Wi-Fi in there rooms on other floors. I tried to explain to reception but wouldnot even listen and kept insisting that no Wi-Fi in the rooms

Matress was hard even for China. Internet for additional money.

Room size small,we stayed in sixth floor and had to walk quite a bit to take the transfer elevator. The card key of the room did not work 3 times. The deposit the hotel collected has not been returned to the card even after 15 days.

Our room (superior twin) was really spacious and comfortable, with huge bathroom. Our three year old son didn't want to leave the bathroom, saying "this is a good shower, this is s good hotel"!

The hotel is close to Nanjing road, PC is provided in the room, reasonable price, easy to communicate in English with the reception staff but not the resturant staf

Great location only a few minutes from the Bund, little bit of a walk from the station with you bags. The hotel has an air of old world charm with lots of rich wood and style. The room itself was fabulous: classic charm, well appointed and a massive bathroom with separate bath, shower and double sink. Very good value.

Breakfast would be nice

Good location for a 5 minute walk to Nanjing Rd for shopping and also very close to the Bund area down by the river.

Not a great deal.

Wireless only available in lobby. Bathroom ceiling paint falling off. Breakfast was not hot and of poor quality in comparison to previous hotels stayed at. Price was 900RMB per room excluding breakfast. Breakfast was 895RMB extra. Shocking!

The location is great and the room was spacious. Really good for the amount paid.
