Nice room, good location, good breakfast.
It was hard to communicate in english with the staff. They messed things with breakfast. Not comfortable location of goods in the bathroom, everything at different places
It has quite good location and some of the staff are nice
The charge a booking when they knew in advance i wont be there. They moved other room That it was at the end of the long hall. The manager and some of the staff were very impolite.
It's not near the Bund tourist area at all. And inside it is tired. A lot of the gym equipment spoke for the general standards. Old and broken in places. I would not return.
Good location - 5min walk to Nanjing road
Staff not helpfull, unfriendly checkin staff
The Bund Hotel is a good value hotel in a good location. excellent clean rooms, gracious staff and good breakfasts.
The location is great as it is close to famous shopping Nanjing road where no vehicle is allowed. The staff is friendly and professional. The concierge is helpful and cooperative. The breakfast buffet was great with a mixture of Western-style and Chinese-style food. The TV cable was very good.
The internet is slow and inconvenient. The rooms on first six floors are a little rundown.
the location , Breakfeast convenient ,
silk not properly running
The hotel is well placed in the center of the city. It is clean, quite and elegant.
The staff can speak only a bit of English. Sufficient to check in and out, but not to solve other problems or to ask information.
The Russian Restaurant!!!!! Boke. Fake meat. Grim grim grim. Still having nightmares. Avoid this dungeon - honestly.
Mattresses not very comfortable
Excellent location, within walking distance to the Bund River p)Promenade, pedestrian shopping Jingjang Rd and Yuyuan Garden and Bazzar. Room was clean, staff friendly.
The location - close to the Bund, People's Square and the metro.
The staff is incredibly unfriendly and most of them don't speak any English. We stayed at the hotel before and had a room next to the building site next door (where they work during the night). This time, we asked for a room that faces another directions. When we came into the room, we found out, that it was just opposite the building site again. When we complained, the staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Finally we talked to the manager (who was friendly and spoke English well) and he assigned us a different room.
The location of the hotel, close to the Bund
The hotel was extremely dirty (some old underwear in our first room!) and the hotel forced to pay the last night though we had to cancel it (early afternoon) after a 7 days stay.
We had a smoking room and it smelt.
It's a nice hotel for the price you pay - however the staff was extremely rude and I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
The check-out time on the site clearly says 2pm but when I checked out I was told by one of the senior staff that "I'm sure you've stayed in a lot of hotels and if you are checking out after 12pm you must inform the hotel. Now you are late." She didn't want to listen to me when I was trying to explain what's written on booking.com.
Good cleaning, created location and the rooms where great and spacecious.
the starff in the reception gave poor service. And spoke poor english. They where simply not friendly. The dame goes fore the starff inthe restaurant.
Great location close to People's Square and the Bund, large room with a big bathroom. As it was our second stay, we asked for a room that is not above the building site next door - and we got a nice, quiet room.
Building site next door if you are unlucky enough to get a room closeby. The staff barely speaks English and is not very friendly.
I like the food the complement of the reception they help me to find a taxi
They have very good clean rooms with better facility but as booking.com has agreement with them for a lower price, they would allocate the worse rooms for customers of booking.com. Their normal price for a good room is higher than the price of booking.com but the service you receive as booking.com customer is much less than a good room.
Sadly they take u to another building like transfer long wag
Well located. Clean. Book a basic room lower floors and request a non-smoking room (12 th to 16th floor)
The location, the view of the Pear Tower we had in the second room.
The staff wasn't very friendly and hardly anyone spoke English. The bathtub wasn't clean and our used mugs weren't cleaned. The hotel is next door to a building site where work starts around 10 p.m. - no chance to sleep. Luckily we were able to move to another (much better) room after three nights.
Big room clean room, excellent location, very friendly staff
What you always have to expect in China, beds are hard as rocks
