Appartment was good size for 5 persons.
Too hard beds
In which universe Guilin Tujia Sweetome is a 4 stars hotel I don't know, but the apartment are very large and in a good context
One hour for the check-in and half an hour to wait for the apartment shuttle.
It is a great place for a long stay.
It is not worth the struggle of getting there if you are just staying one night.
Balkony, wash mashine, size of the appartment, AC, very low price
Terrible bath room, hard beds
The apartment was very nice... Huge and the washing facilities were great. Just what we needed after a month backpacking to recover. Lovely kitchen. Supermarket up the road. Quiet and good aircon.
We said we did not want cutlery at 30 rmb a day but it was left in the appartment. Used it once for convinience and the cleaners told them we were using it so they would charge for use for the 7 days. We didnt even want or need the stuff in the appartment. Still struggling to get our deposit back a month later when on bookings it said no deposit required, hotel will not respond to emails. Beds hard/ chinese style. Quite far from attractions like elephant trunk hill. Need a cab for that.
Everything was perfect exept the fact that the apartments are not in the same building with the reception BUT the staff is very very nice and take us by car to our apartments (it is not ery far anyway). Nothing to say!
Large apartment. Suited the purpose for an overnight stay.
Arrived very late and check in was a long process for tired travellers.
Clean, very roomy, well-presented relatively up-market 2 bedroom appartments in a gated/secure community.
Taxis don't know about it; twice they tried to take us to a place around the corner on the main street; get a name card from the manager when you check-in! As a serviced appt., check-in is awkward: taxis drop you at an unimpressive office, then after checkin the mgrs drive you in their van around the block to the appartment complex. Away from the CBD; a bit inconvenient; tho there are some good restaurants nearby once you have a local friend point them out (all in Chinese but some have English menus). Bathroom poorly designed in both appartments we stayed in; everything gets wet. Relatively hard beds, but surprisingly we slept.
Apartment is in good location. Staffs r helpful. Very good security in complex.
Kitchen utensils r not sufficient.
Nice stuff, speak english, any kind of problem solved fast. Really huge flat by very small price. All details in flat are very smart done, not in chineese style;)
There was a problem with shower, hot water was not working. But the problem was quikly closed just by changing a flat.
The cleanliness, spacious & well equipped facilities.
We (2 families of 11 persons) had to wait with our luggages in the rain for 35 minutes in front of the guard house & frantically called your office twice as your driver has obviously forgotten to fetch us to the airport. Imagine the anxiety & tense moment during the journey (+traffic jam) to the airport as we do not know whether we can make it in time. Managed to board the plane when the last call was mentioned few times. Because of this, we were unable to shop at the airport and our hot water bag (liquid) was confiscated as we have no time to register when it was retained. Please compensate us for this.
Reasonable space One of few options for a large family
Very poor location for travellers in residential area, Very poorly trained staff (unhelpful, overcharged, non English speaking, unable to make decisions without contacting offsite management), Lack of amenities for an apartment (no cutlery or cooking utensils, half a roll of toilet paper for 7 people for a week, insufficient towels) Uncomfortable beds (and we have been living and travelling around China for over a year), Poorly maintained (burst water pipe flooding the kitchen, broken door and window locks), Facilities (wifi, tv) not working, Had to argue for 'free' airport transfer, Many terms and conditions from Booking.com contract/receipt were unknown and ignored by staff, Unexplained 15% surcharge for Union Pay (Chinese debit card) payment on top of upfront full payment including additional security deposit.
Our flat was really spacious.
It was in a dwelling house relatively far from the main office /about 10 min walk/. They precharged our credit card for a deposit /more than 50% of our whole bill for two nights/ and forced us to sign the slip /or not get a room. Finally, they charged the card for the exact amount as on our booking confirmation, but that spoiled our time there.
Better than a hotel room. Very relaxing place, just like home. economy of price. Close to transport. Food within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff and free airport transfer. Safe and secure environment. Highly recommend this place.
