location, quiet, clean, decent food
wifi in the room didn't work well
Excellent bedding, lots of different pillows, good breakfast buffet included, excellent service. We just stayed one night while catching a flight, very close to airport. Friendly staff. Smooth check-in check-out using booking. Helpful shuttle to from airport, they even waited a bit for us to be ready to leave.
Loud music in the lobby when we arrived. However, it didn't bother us at our room floor 2.
Quiet rooms easy access to the airport
Reservations number does not work after 7pm (there is not even a message indicating so) and the front desk personnel just don't answer the phone... I requested and payed for a two double bed room and because the agent at the front desk did not see me with anyone else decided to give me a room with just one bed without asking/confirming
Slept well after nice glassof wine
Cheese on the hamburger
The location was very convenient close to the airport, but with easy access to places away from the airport. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. The breakfast buffet was generous and well balanced. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Recommended to other business travelers to Bogota.
Good location for airport. Funky, original décor. Very clean, comfortable beds.
Didn't like the poor, irregular shuttle service with nobody present at the airport to advise on when and from where the shuttles were departing. I also didn't like the fact that the taxes added on to my bill when paying made it pricier than expected. The reception staff could have been more professional too- they were giggly and messing about.
the hotel is perpact for non-smoker.
there is no smoking rooms at the hotel. Smoker should go out the hotel for smoking. However It isn't inportant condition for using the hotel
Very good beds and shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes was excellent!
It was close to the airport. Close to the bus station, it includes a wonderful breakfast. Rooms are clean and very comfortable
The internet connection was not great in the rooms. It was better in the lobby area, I wished there was more out door spaces as well
So close to the airport. We stayed for one night before flying home.
We arrived early and so could not check in. I asked the guy at reception to tell me when our room would be available and where we would be sitting. I waited 20 minutes before being approached by a waitress with a menu at the bar. I was told to get my own tea from beside reception. I was then not informed when my room was available. I had to go back and ask again. The guy at reception said he was having lunch. I had to wait in a line for a half hour as hotel reception was very busy then. I was ill that day and it was obvious that I was. Poor customer service on his part. F
The bed was comfortable and big, the room is good size.
I had a long layover (7 hours) in Bogota, I decided to book a hotel for a much needed nap. At my arrival, the front desk guy asked me for my printed reservation, (even tho I showed him the e-mail confirmation) so I had to log into the hotels computer and print the reservation myself. Then it took him nearly 20 minutes to check me in. After I payed I was told someone was going to take me to my room, after 10 mins of waiting I told him I could go by myself and he said that they had no keys!!! I had to wait until the security guy took me to my room opened the door and left me with NO keys!!! The room electricity works with the key, naturally so no TV no phone, no lights! I had to go back to reception ask for a key for the electricity and wait AGAIN for the guy to take me to my room. Besides the horrible service, the location is good close to the airport, the bed is comfy and the rooms are good sized. For being an "airport hotel" it needs many improvements, there is no mini bar in the room.
We stayed one night to be close to the airport for our early flight out. The airport shuttle worked well, though there were some late arrivers that there wasn't room for.
They were having technical issues with the wifi and electronic keys. It wasn't a huge deal and I am sure it's not normally the case. It was comfortable, but I kind of felt like I was already back in the states. Some travelers might like that, but I'd prefer to be someplace more Colombian for a long stay.
* Free shuttle service to/from airport * Quiet, clean, comfortable room * Quick and free wi-fi * Good price
- Staff worked slow and didn't seem very knowledgeable - Breakfast selection was poor
Every thing in the place is good, the tv does not have movies on demand
No pool or sauna
The proximity to the Bogota Airport was wonderful. The room was clean and modern and overall lived up to my expectations for a hotel that is part of the W chain.
The main thing I didn't like was being left to figure out on my own how to activate the lights in the room. Reception should let guests know that they need to put the key card into the slot near the door in order to activate the lights in the room. Not everyone has stayed at an Aloft hotel before so not everyone will know this. I spent 5 minutes in complete darkness trying to figure out how to operate the lights. The only other issue was that there were a few things broken in the room, the toilet paper holder and more importantly the dead bolt to the door, leading to a slight feeling of insecurity in the room.
wifi not working, no space for having breakfast etc no shuttle at airport had to pay for taxi
Location is great for a stay overnight at the airport between two flights. Nice rooms
Lengthy check in
Great place to stay overnight near the airport to catch a plane the next morning.
Good comfortable quiet room
No information about where to get the shuttle from the airport. This needs to be on the website, they didn't respond to my email enquiry about this
Poor staff, they are not easy-going
Convenient ! Staff were kind enough to let us have a late check out because we were too ill to fly
Overall the design of the hotel was great. Near to the airport was a big plus.
Location and facilities. Bar tenders very nice.
The phone number did not work. They did not exempt me from the foreign tax. My wifi did not work and reception could not figure out why. The shuttle past me as I could not contact (nor could corporate headquarters) to tell them of my arrival. Saw shuttle and chased down street before he stopped. My reservation was no where to be found in their system. Extremely unorganized.
Never stayed at an Aloft before. I love the concept! This facility was exactly what I needed to get through my 9-hour overnight layover!
The staff was absolutely fantastic!
