Hotel Regina is located in Bogotá’s gorgeous historic centre. This modern hotel is just 150 metres from the Gold Museum and features free daily American breakfast.
Score from 102 reviews Very good
Set in a charming colonial-style house with inner patios, Abadia Colonial offers rooms with free Wi-Fi only 100 metres from Candelaria Church. Breakfast is provided and there is a restaurant.

Score from 167 reviews Fabulous
The breakfast was very diverse. Every day different offerings. It's perfect located and the room was spacious.
The bed was a bit too firm I didn't like the penetrating parfum diffuser in the room
Staff, bed, buffet, drinks, had dinner there one noght. Could walk to monserrate, museo del oro & tons of nightlife.yiu could also open window to outside for fresh air.
Unfortunately walls are very thin so you can hear next door. Both days around 520am the person next door had TV blaring & woke us up from sound sleep. TV sounded like it was in our room. Tvs are hung on the wall which is prob the issue.
Good location if you want to reach the university, friendly staff.
Food at the hotel was not really good. Some rooms are small and stuffy.
Most efficient and friendly staff ever experienced in Colombia, really fantastic. Room was very nice, comfortable, clean and extremely good value for money. Dinner was quite good, breakfast was perfect. Location is ideal, very close to the most interesting attractions in Bogota.
WiFi worked very well the first day, but was extremely slow on the second. Plumbing needs some maintenance!
There is nothing not to like about this hotel from its location to its staff it's a great place to base yourself while in Bogota. There is a supermarket across the road, restaurants and bars nearby as well as points of interest.
The drug addicted homeless laying in doorways and along the street during the day and night. Not the fault of the hotel but does need to be addressed if wanting to attract more foreign tourists to the area.
Very Kind and helpful personal.
Very courteous and helpful staff even though we did not speak Spanish. Lovely room, small but adequate for our needs.
Street noise was a little prevalent but didn't detract too much from sleep.
The location is great, very good value for money
If you can speak at a reception at the cost of the trip organized by the hotel let her write price on paper, because if it did not record the way the price at the end of the trip completely changed. Wifi no inside room, yes it inside but no internet, only cable. Breakfest is all day same, no marmelade any day.
Great sized rooms, very comfortable beds, great price (good value for the price), felt safe, excellent staff that gave us really good recommendations. We liked this place so much we booked it a second time already. Free breakfast included was very good. Location is great if you want to do things like Museo del Oro, Monserrate, Candelaria tour, Macarena food outings, etc. Go to the Botero museum - it's cool and FREE! And right around the corner.
On a few occasions we didn't get hot water, but weren't sure why. However, normally the shower was AMAZING (very hot, great pressure). Wifi went out for 8 hours one day. Bring earplugs - but we didn't mind the noise at all (it's to be expected in most places in Bogota).
Good location for sightseeing in la candaleria. Helpful staff. Room reasonable size. Good shower.
Lighting in room poor and wifi only worked in public area. Spa was closed. Area did not feel safe at night.
The location is good although at nighttime, the neighborhood can be scary. A welcome drink was a nice surprise. The caipirinha was stellar. Breakfast buffet was better than adequate. The coffee was delicious. Front desk staff were helpful. The housekeepers were very nice. Hot showers and great water pressure. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
Service from the restaurant staff is uneven. The night we arrived, the "trainer" Fernando was at the bar with us. He coached the bartender on how to make a caipirinha so it was delicious. We stayed for 1 more than our welcome drink and when we asked for our check, it took a really long time. We started to leave to see if we could hurry them along with the check. The next day at breakfast, they practically took our plates before we finished eating. I know they took my coffee away before I was done. WiFi was spotty. Doorman was sometimes having personal conversations instead of minding the door.
Small and compact in the middle of Candelaria.
There was no wi-fi signal in my room, hence had to sit next to the entrance of the elevator to have a decent signal. The bed was too short.
My sister got sick during our stay in Bogota and needed medicine. The staff ordered a doctor to come and prescribe the medicine and then sent a bellboy to pick up the medicine, all free of charge. I can't say enough good things about the staff with their very kind attention. There were no extra charges on the hotel bill which was amazing!!
Very central location and close to major tourist sites. Very attentive staff.
Would have preferred stronger wi fi signal so my iPad could have been used in my room instead of having to go to the lobby.
Staff was wonderfully helpful and went far out of their way to meet our needs. I had to call a doctor who came to my room twice and I was charged nothing for it! Elevator service was excellent - you never had to wait. Everyone was polite, friendly and unusually helpful.
Drinks were overpriced for the amount we were given. Would have liked a printer in the "business center."
Good value for money in an accessible location. Restaurant on site is useful for a lone traveller. I stayed a total on 10 nights while viisting my daughter and staff were friendly and helpful. The second room I had was larger and more comfortable and worth the very minor difference in cost. I would recommend this hotel.
Not much english spoken but seemed to cater largely for Spanish speakers.
location is very good. people are very helpfull and nice. breakfast is OK.
we booked the junior suite, room and bathroom were very cold, bathroom has no hot water.
Location great. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed large and comfortable.
A horrible perfumed air freshener hits you as you enter the bedrooms. Had to unplug it and open windows wide for several hours to reduce (but sadly not eradicate) the smell. The hotel needs to be told that this is not pleasant and should at least be optional!
This is a well run, clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Candelaria. Within walking distance of most sites in Bogota. Don't miss the Gold Museum just 2 blocks from the Augusta. Restaurants, cafes, grocery stores all just outside the door of the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and the area of Candelaria for a safe enjoyable stay while in beautiful Bogota.
This is a superb hotel, wonderfully located on the edge of the Candelaria. We were in a junior suite, which was vast, and had a superb window view of the Monserrate. Our friend had a double room which was also very generously proportioned. There is a reasonably priced restaurant below the hotel - good for a refreshing afternoon tea! We had transferred from a per-booked hotel up the road, horrible and pokey, and the change was incredible - not much more expensive either. Thoroughly recommended.
Service in the restaurant. And the front desk leaves a bit to be desired.
Close to 'old' downtown
