Hotel Augusta    

In each shift there was English speaking staff. Friendly, helpful. Suite was spacious. Close to historical city center, however if you are into nightlife, you should be looking for accomodation in Zona Rosa.

Hotel has no online connection with booking.com and it may turn out that though you book yourself a room through booking.com it will not be available. Happened to me. Should give them a call prior booking.

The employees are excellent, the breadast is excellent.

The room is small for the price

Truly excellent location of the hotel in the old town Candelaria area where almost all the worthwhile sights of the city are located, very friendly and helpful staff, quiet and very clean rooms.

Some rooms urgently need a replacement of the worn-out mattresses.

The staff were great, and actually spoke English (very rare in South America). The breakfast was a buffet, which included eggs, meats, fruits, waffles, and much more. Best we had on our trip. The location is incredible. We had a view of the city that couldn't be beat. There aren't any heaters, but they brought a small portable one into our room. Very safe! Restaurants everywhere around the hotel, and a good one in the hotel. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!!!

Nothing at all...this place is the best!

We spent the last week of a two month holiday touring Colombia at Hotel Augusta. The location is perfect for walking to the most important sites in Bogota, including the trailhead to Monserrate, and all museums and central historic sites. The hotel itself is modern, clean and luxurious, the suites quite large, and the staff is without exception warm, friendly, and truly tuned into the concept of hospitality. Breakfast was fabulous, with heaping trays of fresh fruit, pastries, to-order eggs, and hot items that changed daily. We would be remiss if we did not also mention Chef Oscar Herrera whose innovative gourmet dinner offerings were deliciously memorable.

Excellent quality of the room for this price.

Only one guest elevator, which was not fast, but this is something they could not easily change.

Extremely well situated. Close to everything in historical city and to communications. Great value. Very good value at restaurantes con almuertzo en el mismo barrio (south side). You get soup and great fish dish and jugo for 8'p.

Booking not secure. Be sure to book well in advance and keep your internet print to avoid discussions about higher prices at desk.

Staff are Helpful

Hotel Augusta is located very close to the historic La Candelaria district and the gold museum. The hotel is located on Avenida Jimenez which is busy in the day with the transit buses but quiet in the night. A small police station is right outside and there is a little market right across the street if you need, or prefer, not to eat in the hotel's beautiful restaurant. Jenny and the front desk staff, and all the doormen are incredibly helpful and polite. The Jr. Suite rooms are very clean and very comfortable. There is great internet connectivity if you need it. The rooms have a safe, extra blankets for those cold Bogota nights, nice views of Monserrate, and fresh flowers. The hotel is a great deal for the money and a good decision for anyone with work or interest in the downtown area.

Warning for mini-bar lovers: the mini-bars are not stocked, so you must order snacks and drinks directly from the mini-bar menu with room service. All my requests were answered promptly.

The fitness room was not in operation, they said it was being renovated.

No es la primera vez que me hospedo en este hotel pero si fue la primera a través de Booking , y la percepción que tuve es que al hacerlo por esta linea el servicio desmejora notablemente por ; 1-cuando llame al hotel para verificar que había hecho una reserva por Booking ,la primera persona que me atendió , dijo que solo tenían una habitación disponible y que aunque en las pagina había varias opciones de habitaciones me tendría que asignar la misma ,pues estaban copados, con esa premisa , reservé la habitación mas económica , pues segun ella reservara lo que reservara , me daría la misma, en ese momento colgué pero quede con la inquietud , sin embargo reservé y llame para verificar , contestó un hombre que no había habitaciones , volví y colgué para verificar si se había completado la operación en la pagina antes de realizar algún reclamo,al verificar nuevamente llame y ,me contesto la señorita de la primera vez, diciendo que efectivamente estaban copados y no había habitación , al contestarle que como era posible que eso sucediera si la pagina me había dejado hacer la reserva , en ese momento me dijo que si era así, ellos me ubicarían la habitación como fuera y procedería a bloquear la pagina,ya en camino volví a llamar y ya me dijeron que mi reserva estaba lista , les comente que originalmente yo deseaba una suite junior y me dijeron que listo que me reservaban una suite.LA Primera vez que fui reserve directamente y su atención fue mucho mas amable sin reparos reservaron la suite que solicite.

A localização é excelente. Estávamos a poucos metros do teleférico para o Cerro Monserrate e do centro histórico ( praça, catedral, casa presidencial, capitólio) e dos principais museus ( do ouro e de Botero). As pessoas sao muito cordeais e sempre davam ótimas dicas de passeios, restaurante, fizeram reservas nos mesmos e para carros. O ambiente é muito agradável! óTimo custo beneficio! Super recomendo!!

Fue una estadía corta pero muy agradable, muy amable y eficiente todo el personal con el que tratamos. La comida del restaurante muy buena incluido el desayuno. En todo lo que necesitamos se esmeraron por ayudarnos. Volveríamos a ir

El baño un poco incómodo, el lavatorio no tenía jabonera y el papel higiénico estaba a 10cm. del suelo. La mesita de luz está pegada a la cama y el borde en ángulo te lo podés chocar cuando dormís.

La atención, todo el personal es muy amable y están dispuestos a brindarte recomendaciones además que se preocupan por tu seguridad. La cercanía con Monserrate y los diferentes museos y parques.

La zona no parecía ser la más segura.

Escolha uma jr suite que é bem espaçosa. Restaurante de boa qualidade e quartos com todo o conforto e modernidade. Peça um aquecedor portatil para poder lidar com o frio local.

Lista fitness e spa mas encontra-se apenas uma sala quebrada que ja esta assim por um bom tempo de acordo com outros comentarios passados.

Hotel muito bom, com tudo que um grande hotel precisa ter.

Alguns problemas com a rede wifi fornecida pelo hotel.

Excelentemente ubicado en el barrio de La Candelaria, se puede ir caminando al cerro de Monserrate y está al lado del Museo del Oro y la plaza de Bolívar. Tiene un desayuno y habitaciones muy buenas en relación al precio.

Una noche alguien por error, me imagino que una persona del aseo, intentó ingresar a la habitación. El ascensor principal estaba malo. Queda lejos de los barrios donde es mejor para salir de noche. La Candelaria es histórico, pero hay que andar con cuidado.

La ubicacion, por estar cerca de todo el patrimonio cultural que tiene Bogota (La Candelaria) que se recorre a pie.

Tendria que tener mas luminosidad en la habitacion. No se recomienda circular a pie por la zona despues de las 21 hs Los consumos en el comedor te incluyen el 10% de propina el cual uno puede rechazar o aprobar, lo tienes que hacer cuando el mozo trae la cuenta antes de firmar la misma

O hotel nos surpreendeu , tudo de muito bom gosto, o atendimento muito bom, for claros em todas as regras, o café da manhã farto, as acomodações de luxo, em fim, nota 10 a este hotel , e o preço super em conta em relação ao hotel.

O único ocorrido foi fora do hotel. Um porteiro nos indicou um taxi sem taxímetro que nos cobrou o dobro do normal. Achei de má fé do FUNCIONARIO .

La ubiación, el servicio en general del hotel es muy bueno, especialmente, las personas que te reciben en la puerta de ingreso, cabe resaltar al Sr. Carlos siempre dispuesto a ayudarte, es un hotel muy reomendable.
