Location Staff Breakfast (loved it) Actually everything!
no window in our cheapest room of the hotel...
Friendly, courteous staff. Great location. Private quiet space makes for nice break from the city
Location and the admosphere In the hotel
I was left with no money to continue my travel as I had to pay cash because my cards had been stopped due to security and the hotel didn't allow me to call my bank to get my credit back. Not happy
Rooms were so cool
Pool could have been on top floor terrace and bigger
Se fue la energía 2 veces

the rooms, the service

It was just an absolutely beautiful place to stay at! Lovely breakfast, great rooms, amazing courtyard and hot water!
We loved everything about the hotel
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in an old colonial building in the old city. The area is fantastic – there is a wonderful Argentinian restaurant and Lonely Planet's Top Choice restaurant in Cartagena metres from the hotel, plus there's a roof terrace for sunbathing. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were gorgeous, with very powerful A/C, which is very welcome in the tropical Caribbean heat!
Staff didn't seem to speak much English, which could be a problem for any guests that don't speak any Spanish. Generally though, I think this was a great value hotel given its popular location and the stunning setting.
Hotel was well located for strolling around the old town.receptionist on arrival was great, as was breakfast with a smile on the first day. Then less amenable staff for next 3 days. Nice big room with a comfy large bed. We dis book superior room.
Our friends hadn't booked a superior room and it was windowless, that would have been un bearable for us. No hot water in our room , friends downstairs did.
Fantastic hotel with amazing staff!
The hostel is well located in a quiet street but close to restaurants, stores and the main commercial artery of San Diego. Staff is very friendly and helpful; love the bathroom and the comfy room. Good breakfast.
You can hear music from nearby bars well into the evening.
A location that can't be beat! Great architecture. Many restaurants within a 5 minute walk,
WiFI is uneven.
staff was really nice.
Wish I felt more comfortable.
Staff was extremely helpful. Bathrooms are good sized and modern. My wife loved the large mirror in the bathroom.
Rooms are a bit small, but common in old town. Also, there is no hot tub.
It is a smaller place with charm. It has authenticity for the area which is much appreciated. The breakfasts were good. We were lucky to have a larger room with balcony overlooking the street which added to its quaintness.
The pool was lacking. Part of why we switched to this hotel was to have a pool and the size of the pool is like a jacuzzi. There is no space for lounging at the pool as there is about 2feet of space around the perimeter. Also the location of the pool is right behind the kitchen which makes it uncomfortable.
Pleasant staff, helpful, delicious breakfasts.
Small room, but very quaint feeling and cozy
Great location & lovely architecture.
Very small room with no desk.
Nice location close to everything. We walked just about everywhere. Staff was friendly and the place is clean.
There was no hot water for 3 days. This was not too big a problem since the cold water is not really cold and after a day in the heat the shower was refreshing.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was also great. We had their superior room which was spacious with a big bathroom and we really enjoyed having a balcony. Location was great. Highly recommend.
WiFi was spotty in the room perhaps due to thick walls, but worked fine in the sitting area. It was not a huge issue for us.
I stayed in the room at the back of the 2nd floor hallway (towards the pool) and it was very quite; something much needed in Cartagena. The staff went out of their way to please us. If you need anything (e.g., special cab service to Santa Marta) they will find it for you.
ON the roof terrace there should be more comfy chairs to sit. If you are there with a couple of friends, the only other place to sit is around a table with rather uncomfortable chairs.
Everything were excellent, the customer service, the location, the rooms, etc.
Very polite staff.
Wireless internet did no work at all. Our room had black fungus on the wall. Moisty smell. Swimming pool is very small, more like a bathtube.
We almost missed our flights because the incompetent doorman was too lazy to order taxi's at the time we specified, then tried to get them last minute to find there were none and had to run in the streets to flag them down. We barely made it!
Location, room with high ceilings, foliage inside hotel, breakfast was varied, staff was friendly- had a cozy vibe
No wifi in my room # 206 coverage stopped just outside
