Casa La Fe    

This hotel was centrally located in Cartagena. It has old mansion charm. Suitable for young couples.

Did not have an elevator so we had to climb up and down stairs from third floor room, which was too much for my elderly wife with two artificial hips. Therefore, we had to cut short our stay to two nights (from a scheduled 7). If we had known beforehand that there was no lift we would not have stayed here. There was nothing in Le Fa ads by Booking.com about not having an elevator!

friendly staff, very helpful, great central location, clean hotel

Everything about this hotel was perfect! Location couldn't have been better - close to Getsemani, where we found the best music and action to be at night; located within the walled city and close to great food; Easy to get to other attractions by foot, and taxis are abundant if necessary. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet at night so not sure why people wouldn't want to be on the street side, though we do live in NYC.

I honestly can't say that I didn't like anything.

The location

The smell of mould in the room some wear on furniture a single chair in the room in front of a microdesk We have booked the hotel 2 weeks in advance and the hotel charged my account almost immediately with an important amount. This is unusual and unpleasant. We wanted to leave one day earlier but the hotel did not accept to reduce the bill by one day. Cartage is the most expensive city in all Columbia. 200 Years ago the city has been robbed by pirates, nowadays the Cartagenos are robbing the tourist.

The hotel fullfills all what they offer thru their website But I'd really want to remark the staff, who are prompt to make your stay as good as possible.

very friendly staff in a very central location in Cartagena. staff made all reservations and scheduled all trips for us. there are added amenities such as free coffee all day and a free happy hour in the evening for all hotel guests. all around relaxing and enjoyable.

room was a little musty.

Friendliness of staff.Free Happy hour get together each evening.Met fellow travelers and made new friends. Breakfast wonderful and well served. Well situated in the Old City.Room amenities good. Plenty hot water.

No elevator and thus upper floor not suitable for persons with disabilities

Staff were friendly and very helpfull. Room with balcony was comfortable and breakfast in patio was a good experience.

The location is great. Right on a square full of trees and great people watching from the balcony of our room. The staff was very helpful with the language barrier.

It was clean and comfortable in a good location but the price seemed a bit high for the place. We were there right before Xmas so that might be why.

Although small value for money is excellent,a cooked breakfast,free coffee,free beer or wine at happy hour,Freddy the best concierge,local knowledge etc,location is perfect wall one way, square at The door with local entertainment,main squares the other way.Walking distance to all bars and restaurants..Good value for what you receive.First floor is noisy,stay on 2 or 3

TV was noisy with static,run out of hot water in wash basin in 301.

Great stay and great location. This is not a luxury hotel but a nice, little boutique hotel in a privileged area of the Old City in Cartagena. Gloria and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included. Very good with excellent coffee and several healthy food choices. Great value overall. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place - a treat to stay at and a wonderful retreat to the bustle of Cartegena streets. Somehow they manage to provide you with all of the comfort creatures - from wi fi, A/C and cable TV, yet retain the charm of colonial Cartegena. Staff couldn't be more delightful and helpful. The place is a gem!

No complaints!!

I was travelling with my sister for several days after visiting Bogota. We were inColombia for the first time from the US. Casa la Fe was everythinf the web site promised. As beautuful as shown on the website, a comfortable, charming respite from th hot, busy city just outsidw the gate. Quiet, charming, most accomodating. We were completely delighted with our choice. Manager Gloria Vera also very helpful.

O Hotel Casa La Fe encontra-se dentro da cidade amuralhada num ponto bem central para passeios a pé. Caso não tenha problemas em subir escadas, dê preferência aos quartos do 2º ou 3º andares, pois os do 1º são localizados no pátio onde o café da manhã é servido. Sem problemas para quem gosta de acordar cedo. No entanto, depois da hora do café, é extremamente tranqüilo. O hotel é agradável e todos são atenciosos e gentis, com destaque especial para Angélica e Fred. As fotos no booking fazem jus à realidade.

Muy lindo y mantenido el edificio republicano. La ubicación excelente y el personal de servicio muy amable

El desayuno es muy pobre y sin variedad. La recepcionista nunca supo nada de lo que le preguntamos Felizmente nos dieron una habitación en el segundo piso, las del primero dan a la terraza donde se toma desayuno y donde no hay aire acondicionado. Finalmente nos cobraron la impresion de nuestros boarding pass!

O pessoal do hotel é ótimo, sempre sorridente e atencioso. O café da manhã é bom, com frutas, sucos e 4 menus fixos para seleção. O hotel é muito bem localizado e os quartos possuem ventilador de teto e ar condicionado, o que é ótimo porque o calor é demais! O retorno ao frescor do apto, depois de um dia de caminhadas, é um prazer.

Le personnel très attentionné, le calme de l'établissement malgré sa localisation en plein centre ville, la petite piscine bien aménagée sur le toit, les bicyclettes mises gracieusement à la disposition des clients, le petit déjeuner copieux offert gratuitement avec la chambre, l'efficacité de l'air climatisé, le frigo disponible dans la chambre, la propreté et la grandeur de la salle de bain, la charme du patio et de sa verdure.

Sobre todo la ubicacion del hotel. Es como sentirse en casa por el tamaño del hotel y la amabilidad de la gente.

Nuestra experiencia en Casa La fe, fue muy buena la habitación muy bien (de acuerdo a lo contratado), el servicio excelente, se respira un aire de paz, y se encuentra muy bien ubicada a pocos metros de la ciudad amurallada. Lo recomendariamos

L'albergo ha uno staff molto gentile e disponibile, una posizione ottima, offre una buona prima colazione in un patio fresco e romantico.
