Very good value for the money. Clean, nearly new rooms, good wi-fi, good staff, facilities.Modern, clean facility. Best accommodations I have found for the price in any country so far. I paid $27/night for single with double bed.

Unless you are doing business with the Central Mercado area, the neighbor hood is not good. Taxis are cheap here though, so $5-7 gets you to almost anywhere you want to go.

the hotel was very clean and the wifi was fairly good thru out the hotel. in room breakfast from the onsite restaurant was also good.

the rooms are smaller than the actual pictures and the beds are too small for an average height person. the hotel staff who were mainly women were very rude and mostly interested in gossiping rather than doing a professional job

Foreigners should not pay local taxes for accomodation in Colombia, however this hotel charges it and says you have to claim it back at the airport, which is a lie, because at the airport the DIAN (tax authorisation) said that they dont do such a thing and the hotel shouldnt charge you this at all!!! Otherwise the hotels amenities are ok and clean, with a nice terrace at the top. In the front there is a hughe food market, but also at night just a few streets away there are hundreds of prostitutes hunting for clients. Go to the near El Poblano for big nightlife. Take the nearby metro (6-7 min. walk) to roam around Medellin.

Very nice hotel, the place is super clean. The staff is always available and very responsive. I've never been at a hotel where the staff was so dedicated to their work. The hotel is quite inexpensive by Medellin standards. The on-site restaurant is pretty good and cheap too. It is located right in front of the central mayorista, which I think is nice. You can walk there and get fresh fruits, juices and groceries every day if you want. Cabs are always available and the hotel staff will help you get to any part of town you want to. I stayed here for 12 nights with my girlfriend. Great time. It felt like home. It's realtively safe to walk the streets around the hotel, but like any other foreign city, don't walk too far, too late at night on your own.

Some of the rooms are a little small and if you happen to have a room all they way at the end of 1 hallway, the wi-fi can be spotty there. If you're in one of these rooms, you would have to use your laptop in the lobby for better Wi-fi access or just use the PCs they provide.

Nothing was special with this hotel! No shops nearby, just the wholesale market which is only interesting to people who want to buy fruits and vegetables for resale:)

It was a torture to stay in a small room resembling a case with no windows to let air/oxygen into the room. Too little oxygen for two people to breath the whole night, resulting in sickness for a few days when waking up! We left the hotel as soon as we woke up sick from lack of oxygen! We will never go back to this hotel again, as a prison cell is much better option! We felt like hen being kept in too small space just to lay egg! At least hen will get some oxygen, which is lacking in this hotel's rooms. We paid for being tortured. We would rather sleep in the street next time. as there we would have plenty of oxygen! Also the rooms are as large as a double bed plus a feet on each side, as to let you walk to the bathroom. And consider one of you taking a shower with slightly warm water in such small cage with no windows/air! The humidity in the room would rise to 95%!!! Imagine how it might feel in a small 6'x6' room with no windows, 95% humidity and only 5% oxygen after a few hours stay, not to mention about the heat in the room lacking air conditioning! We moved to another hotel in the center just after night sleep, and it took us 2-3 days to overcome sickness from lack of oxygen. It is a lot better to live in a hotel in the center of the city, as there you will get a room 5 times larger than this hotel with plenty of oxygen, a balcony, everything (including bus to the airport and metro) nearby and all these for 50% cheaper than this hotel! The owner/manager of this hotel should have a background a major egg-producer sticking to the principle of small space for more hen, hence more profit! We now understand how caged hen in egg-production industry feel:(
