Die Lage ist erstmal abschreckend, aber wenn man die Gegend etwas erkundet, entdeckt man den Charm. Der angebotene Abholservice st zwar nett, aber überteuert!

die Lage in Candelaria ist super. Verkehrsgünstig-10 Minuten zum Goldmuseum oder Botero Museum oder Plaza Bolivar. Authentisches Viertel. Große Zimmer-super Betten/Matratzen. Sauber. Nette Mitarbeiter. Gutes Frühstück. Farbenfroh :)

Authentische Unterkunft. Sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten des täglichen Bedarfs um die Ecke. Zimmer und Frükstück sehr gut. Im ersten Stock hellhörig. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Absolut empfehlenswert wenn man nicht immer im Hotel übernachten möchte und private Pensionen mag.

The staff was amazing. Andrés, Angelica, Carolina y Julián were always in a great mood and trying to help with anything. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are perfect.

The showers aren't the best thing. The hot water didn't last too long and it was difficult to find it, and Bogota is a cold city.

The place was very cute and comfortable. The hostel employees were very friendly and always helpful. Also the free breakfast in the morning was always yummy. It felt very homey.

The only downside was the shower. You have to play with it a bit to get warm water and the water pressure was low. But I found this to be common thing in most of the hostels that I stayed in in Colombia.

One of the most lovely and charming guesthouses we've stayed in, very friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast and cafe con leche, fantastic introduction to Bogota. Hope to return!

Great location and excellent value.

Beds were saggy so hard to get a good nights sleep. Ground floor room lacks privacy.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. It is a good value for the money if you are wanting to save money, defiantly a lower end hotel, but safe & clean.

When I arrived the hotel was pretty empty and they upgraded me to the suite which is the whole top floor and has 2 BR, living room, dining area and kitchen. Funky but beautiful. Staff were super friendly. The breakfast that was included was not bad. Good wi-fi.

The lobby is very funky. OK I guess. The Candelaria neighborhood is most likely not for everyone. Full of college students drinking in the street, quite noisy and dirty. But full of restaurants and cheap student bars.

The place was beautiful & the staff were so helpful you would think you are staying with family. Excellent value for the money. Take advantage of their car service for airport transfers or for day trips. Very economical, convienent & nice.

They didn't mention that there were 3 floors and no elevator. It was no problem though.

A marvelous find, Chorro de Quevado imbibes the beauty, hospitality and charm of old Bogotá. Each floor has it's own room and tucked away space to sit, relax and dissolve into the melodic heart beat of the city below. A spiral walk of art, leads up, up, up to the top suite which has a beautiful room with a comfortable bed, an open living space with kitchen and bathroom, and the best feature of all: a loft room, accessible by floating planked stairs, with a windowed ceiling that allows you to lay under the night sky in the warmth of a cozy bed. Wood floors throughout, hot water, warm rooms, artistic features in design and furnishings, flourishing plants, local art at every turn and a most friendly, helpful staff made this one of my favorite homes away from home. Not to mention a most delicious breakfast of fruit, freshly made juice, bread, omelet and coffee in the morning. The hotel is easy to locate and brilliantly tucked into one of the cobblestone streets of the Candelaria. I found the location to be a relatively safe one and my fiancé (Colombian) and I felt perfectly at ease walking in the night to get dinner and drinks.

The facilities are excellent and much confortable. So the staff. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 5 nights over New Years. The rooms in the hotel are very beautiful and the hotel is right in the heart of La Candlaria. The best part was the staff, Luz and the Domingeuz twins were fantastic. The owner Massimo gave us some really good advise as well. We stayed in the suite the last night and I definitely recommend it.

We actually stayed at Casa Guadalupe which is a sister property. I wanted to stay in the charming "older style" property, but when we saw the room, it was beautiful, modern, clean with amazing views and more than worth the trade.

It's a bit out of the cit which is nice, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Well located to explore both the city and fort.

Credit card facilities were not working as advertised and we had to rush into town to get cash, also the stree it's on is out of the way and you do get a number of guys offering you drugs on that street, felt relatively safe though all things considered.

The last day they offered us the possibility to stay in a much better room than the three days before.

I've payed for a more comfortable room in my internet reservation.

This is the most charming place in the most charming neighborhood! All of the staff at Chorro de Quevedo were wonderfully genuine and attentive to making sure guests had a comfortable stay. The place is full of charm and unique touches, like fresh long-stemmed roses in the hallway. My boyfriend and I were especially impressed with how the B & B seems very much a part of the community and everyone who stayed there or passed by was treated with great care and respect. We had a lovely five day stay there, the price is more than reasonable, and its location is fantastic!

I know some reviews said there were issues with hot water, etc. It was difficult to get high water pressure and hot water at the same time, but it was definitely sufficient for my needs and my boyfriend's.

Don't stay in the second floor room right above reception. Gets a lot of street noise and noise from reception

it was an all round great experience ... loved the decor, position, friendly staff and owner ...

The space in the loft room was fantastic and the breakfast was fabulous!! Staff were helpful and some spoke good English which was a bonus.

The stairway up to the loft was not so good if you are scared of heights, and was difficult with bags and late at night. The pressure of the shower was poor but at least there was warm water which is more than most places in bogota.

Nice place to stay in Bogota. Location is great, although the Candelaria are is little dodgy at night time.

Staff - super friendly, flexible and nice. The kind that you talk to by name. Heck I added some on Facebook. Rooms - pretty. Very good for a hostel/B&B. The Suite is stunning - two floors (with another bed in the loft under skylights!), kitchen/fridge, a ton of natural light and a very nice view of the mountain and city. Breakfast - just right. Not too fancy, but everything they did (juice, eggs, coffee, fruit) I can't complain about. Location - really fun area, beautiful, but super noisy. If you're not going to enjoy nightlife it can get a little ridiculous on Friday and Saturday nights.

It got a bit noisy, but this is a function of La Candelaria more than this place, though of course it could do with more sound insulation.
