I liked this histel. It is located close to the transmillenium station. Also, it is close of many importan places, such as Gold Museum, Monserrate Hill and others. In addition many cheap places to eat. The staff was really nice with me, so I enjoyed this hostel.
Location and colors.
Staff inattentive. Example is when I arrived to check-in and no one approached the desk as well as when I returned at night and no one would open the door.
My room smelled bad. No windows, no ventilation, no radiator.
The twin brothers are extremely helpful. I believe they own the bar next door as well, which means you can just walk next door to grab a drink. This hostel is located at a walking distance from all the spots you need to hit up in Bogota. I even walked to Monserrate mountain from this hostel.
The bathroom and shower are one.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and helped me with many matters. The location is right in the action of the Candelaria, good price and good wifi. I'll be staying there again next month.
Decent location, close to museums and the bus. Although our taxi driver told us that it was very dangerous at night so I would avoid walking at night. Room was clean.
- there was no one to let us in at 3am even though I had emailed beforehand to let them know and the front desk is advertised as being 24/7. we actually had to roam the streets for 2 hours. - there was nothing to divide the shower and toilets which I found gross as Everytime you shower the toilets get drenched, would be nice if there was a divider between them - wifi was very weak
Staff tries their best to help.
Very sketchy area. Everything shuts down by midnight and it's not safe to walk around (this is coming from someone who doesn't get scared easily). Staff has very minimal English but they are very nice.
Good location, clean, manager very helpful
Noise from bar next door and loud guests in hostel kept us awake through much of the night. The sliding door on the room kep falling off the track and was secured with a small padlock. Expensive for private room with shared bath.
The staff were amazingly helpful and nice. Eager to help at any time. Very useful information at all times and also helped us booking taxis several times. Very grateful and I cannot recommend more this place to future travellers.
The hot water system in the showers could be improved? Everything else is brilliant.
In this hostel, you can feel like at home. Guillermo is a really nice person who cares about all you neede. The rooms and the bath are clean, you always have hot water. The breakfast is good. You can use the microwave anytime (you havent got a kitchen but in bogota isnt really necessary because food is cheap). I hope to stay here again.
Good location, excellent staff.
Clean- Relax. Quiet, the manager is a very good person and gives tips about the city... very good place to stay...
English speaking staff, very helpful. Great location.
A little noisy at night.
Horrible shower Cold Not that secure Guys tried to rip us off by adding IVA which non Colombians are exempt from paying
Friendly, very helpful staff. Central location. Cheap.
Very thin walls and doors - you could hear noise from the street and other rooms all day long.
Cold showers and broken bed
-Very nice and helpful staff. -The hostel is decorated with cool graffiti art all over. -It's possible to do laundry. -Staff arranged spanish classes at the hostel for us.
-Booking.com makes some sort of mistake, when converting from spanish to english web page, which meant prices showed pr. room, while it was pr. person, so final amount ended a lot higher than expected. Not the hostels fault.
The staff was absolutely brilliant! Nice and comfortable hostel.
No electrical plugs in my room.
The location of this hostal is really good, near to buses transmilenio and is close to historical center and Monserrate Hill. The staff gave me a good treatment.
Maybe they need to improve a little bit their share bathrooms. Also, they shouldn't allow smoke in the balcon, because the smoke come inside the bedrooms.
People who worked there were helpful. Cheap. Near sights downtown.
Cold. No real pillows. The room with an en suite bathroom had a gross shoddily constructed bathroom zone with no real ceiling or door.
Amazing staff, really truly amazing!
A bit noisy but it is a hostel after all! Smocking on the balcony right off my room meant that I enjoyed every cigarette, whether I wanted to or not....
