Definately the staff and the service is great.

Caterpillars and wings in the bed... It's clear the bed was not washed...maybe for months and when we claimed the manager denied every thing ..said nothing was true... Service was awful!! We could wait sometimes for more than 1hour for towel to the swimpool and for the breakfast to my room .. I'm still waiting never again!

Soccer team staying on the same floor. Low life scum. It was rhe only negative recount. Else, i was offered a junior suite but I was too busy and tired to move

I did not like that after leaving my room, it was checked straight away in front of me that nothing was consumed from the mini bar via radio. It felt like they did not trust my word. I would recommend the staff also to check if nothing was left in the room, this would be then a good service: I have left a cable and a charger in the room.

Infinity pool, breakfast, suite room

Some front desk attendants were not the friendliest, we had terrible Internet connection during an event we held there, fees a bit pricey for what the room is.

Hotel was clean, evening food was excellent, restaurant service was very good. definately recomend it.

I thought the staff was the best at this hotel, if anything that would make this hotel a four star hotel it would be the staff that elevates it to the status.

I didn't like the fact that they gave us one of their oldest and worst rooms, a bed I didn't look forward to sleepong in.

The swimming pool was perfect. We had it completely to ourselves both days. There was always a taxi waiting at the main entrance when we needed one. There was a business centre with free internet access and the whole hotel had free wifi.

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Not getting golf letter for Rodeo on time despite repeated requests - missed teetime Saturday morning which meant lost time to spend in other Medellin tourist attractions. Slow service when we ordered two beers. Very late making up of room - had to call for soap. Took a while to find our reservation.

The gym was closed. The steam bath was not working and the jacuzzi was not functioning. Three of the must haves when I travel for business.

The Staff really does the extra mile to service you well.

The breakfast buffet was always the same.... It is kind of boring when you stay more than 3 days. The room service is and the restaurant menu is expensive. Sometimes it is better to order a delivery service.

The late check-in was inconvenient; not many staff members spoke English; the hotel food was overpriced and not very good.

The value was excellent-- the hotel was really nice for the price. The staff was friendly and hospitable, and made sure we were comfortable. The bellhop spoke terrific English and was so helpful with navigating the city. The hot showers. The outdoor heated pool.

The hot tub was closed, which was unfortunate, because we were looking forward to using it. The location is far from the Metro, and taxis can be a pain when sightseeing back and forth.

Safe and secure location and plenty of security staff. Clean facilities and room. Great breakfast service included in room rate. Great bathrroom and shower.

Only 1 person working during check-out, which took approximately 30 minutes. Internet connection not stable, had to keep logging in every 10 minutes. Price of minibar products way too high. No washcloths in bathroom.

i liked everything about the Hotel, the girl Yuli, at the front dest was very professional, and most of the staff spoke english. That was a big help! The staff was amazing! Hotel is very clean and beautiful! I just had a problem with the extra charges at the end of my stay!

I did not like the extra charges at the end of my stay, I was there for 4 nights and online my rate was around 650,000 pesos. but when I checked out my bill was almost 1,000,000.000 pesos, I drank a water from the mini bar and that cost 25,000 pesos. Around $12.00 US.. Which I think is very rediculous!! i got charged Hotel security fees and a lot more of unexpected things. ijust wish all this would be up front so I could of had a choice or a say so in the matter, Not just something thrown at me at the end of my stay. i went to pay my bill and Im thinking I owe around $400.00 and it was almost $700.00, for 4 days.. You agree to pay 85 dollars a night, then when you get the bill its more like $150.00 a night! And all my local calls, I got charged for!!

Matress was a little uncomfortable.

The pool and Jacuzzi are Nice. In the picture they look fabulous. But when you get there you realize that there's a giant building in front of it, overlooking the pool. There's no scenic view at all. The restaurant menu seems to be very complete with a broad range of international choices. Unfortunately the chef have no idea how to prepare Italian or international food. I'd been served a beef carpaccio, the meat was still frozen, DISGUSTING.

The Hotel steal money on your check-out. The Hotel Belfort DanCarlto STEAL and OVERCHARGE your bill of 10% ! In Colombia Foreigners are exempted to pay the local VAT (IVA). The VAT or IVA which is 10% had always been deducted from my check at every hotel i have been all over Colombia and stayed at a lot of hotels like Radisson, Intercontinental, Categoria Diez, Park 10, Movich, even smaller hotels not part of a chain. The Belfort Dann Carlton refused to deduct the VAT. In colombia there is a LAW that states that it has to be deducted for foreigners not residing in the country. The clerk, the managers and the accountants seem to completely ignore the law or think they can act above the law. The result is the tourist is paying the VAT. The hotel or Hotel Staff are then taking that money for them as it will not go to the government. So the Hotel is stealing both the Tourist and the Government. Such Practice is totally unacceptable.
