I had a lot of problems with the reservation department. I wasn't able to use the pre-authorization option because I was using a company credit card. When I e-mailed the hotel to ask about forms I needed, they didn't respond in a timely manner and I had to call several times to get what I needed. When I did get the forms, they tried to overcharge me, and I had to call Booking.com to confirm the price. Then when I showed up at the hotel, it turned out that they had failed to put me in the system so I was given a smaller room than the one I had booked. When I asked about a getting at least a discounted rate the next day, I was told that would not be possible and that I would have to pay the full price. After some arguing, I got them to agree to charge me the lower price for the room. They finally moved me to the correct room, but the following day I was told that they might have to change me to a different room! Then, on top of it all, on the final day when I asked for a detailed receipt from the hotel, they told me they couldn't give me one because they didn't have the correct information from me (but had failed to let me know in advance). So again, I had to spend another hour getting it sorted with them, on top of more time at home getting the proper information and making sure that they process the information correctly. Also, there was no hot water in the hotel, and the description for the superior room is not accurate. Overall, not the best experience.
I thought the hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly, but they didn't speak English, so I wouldn't recommend it for travellers who don't speak Spanish. Breakfast was decent.
