Bar far the best hostel I've stayed at in terms of comfort, very good beds. Also there's a good atmosphere at the hostel. They also have a desk where they can organize day trips for you.

Can't complain about much except the wifi wasn't the best but still not a major issue.

The building is very beautiful, with good rooms and a nice terrace with a charming swimming pool.

The price for the rooms could be more adequate for the location in the city. The wifi was not working properly.

The staff is mostly European therefore communication is not a problem at all. They are happy to explain anything you need and are really friendly. They also offer 10% discount in the restaurant next door (which btw it's run by the same Owner and the food is amazing. Prices are normal for Europeans but not for cheap for locals )

I am Colombian and went with my bf who is from Germany. I think the Colombian atmosphere is totally missing. It doesn't feel the Colombian vibe at all and if that's what you are looking for then I would recommend to go somewhere else.

-rooftop bar and terrace -pools -travel agency in the front -advices for dinner and night out on the wall - curtains in the dorms - bathroom in the 4persons dorm -friendly staff

    - 4 persons dorm seemed to be a 5 persons with an 'emergency bed', so call it a 5 persons.. - dorm was too small for 5 sleeping and some smelly travellers. not many space for backpack. - luggage store to small for a big backpack.

Beautiful view and roof top deck, friendly staff. Excellent location. Lots of amenities.

Rigid check-out times (even when the room is not booked for the next night), pools are dirty, price of single rooms are a bit high.

Great hostel, feels like a boutique villa. Fantastic rooftop bar, kitchen - lots of lounge areas on all levels. Staff are vey helpful!

Although there are better communal facilities, you do pay quite a bit more for the privilege.

Best hostel we have stayed in in South America. Practically a top end hotel for the price of a hostel night?! Really recommended!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at a private room which was clean and spacious with a flat tv and AC. The rooftop bar with the swimming pool and the chill out area are just perfect to relax during hot days. Thumbs up!

Excellent value private rooms with good air con. Generous breakfast.

Music in the bar extremely loud during the middle of the day which was fairly unpleasant. Some front desk staff was a little snooty.

What can you not love about Masaya! Wow, what a hostel. We were skeptical about the 'more like a resort than a hostel' comments, but they completely ring true. Two pools, rooftop bar, pool table, freaking cinema! The bathrooms belong in the Hilton. Highly recommended!

Staff was excellent. Spoke English. More like a hotel than a hostel. Had trouble with a/c one night and staff was very accommodating. Changed rooms, fixed a/c and double checked to make sure everything else was OK. Place was spotless. Breakfast was good and the guy who made it was so friendly
