Price Comfort Near some good restaurants
Emergency stair exit was kept locked! Staff unconcerned about this when I spoke to them. Only access to rooms is via lifts
The hotel is pretty new, the rooms are confortable and very clean. I was on one of the top floors so I had a birds eye view of Medellin. The location is good, close to a mall by cab, (if you need some shopping)and inbetween Poblado and Centro.
I wish they had info on takeout menu's. in the rooms. I wanted to order from the restaurant but they were closed so I wanted to order out. They didn't have take out menus to call....I had to go out and find a place to eat.
clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, fast wifi
not a great location, big hotels aren't that interesting
Everything looked brand new and very clean. Great hot water and ac. Breakfast had everything and even though not included, was inexpensive. Very quiet and easy to sleep. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Not extremely close to poblano but cab ride cheap.
the location is between central el poblado and the city center, safe and convenient, the hotel is new and clean, most of the staff speak English, the price is amazing!
The staff was very friendly, although occasional communication in English was a slight problem. The room was very comfortable and the location was very convenient to the metro. I would stay here again.
The food in the breakfast buffet was good but lacked variety.
Everything except the size of the room. Too small
Localización Comfort Security Clean
Seems a safe place to stay, good location. Polite staff
It is not major. There were neither iron nor iron board.
Outstanding location - in the metro line, by the Museum of Modern Art, safe area. Better than your standard Ibis Hotel: nicer rooms, better service, great shower. The restaurant half a block from the hotel - Bonuar - is very good!
Breakfast was dull. I did not try dinner, but it was not tempting.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is safe and proximity to the metro adequate.
Rooms were noisy: noise from adjacent rooms, slamming doors, people talking in corridors
Great location , staff ,rooms , breakfast ( extra charge but very good) parking (very important for me ). Good value $$$ also important. I'll keep coming back.
Staff were so helpful! American Airlines left my luggage in Miami. The staff really helped me to communicate with the Airlines, make phone calls, and find a way to have my luggage delivered to Ibis. Thanks so much staff at Ibis! Place was immaculate. It is Ibis so no luxuries, but in my opinion well worth the rate.
No fridge in the room. Wished there had been one only if I had been staying more than 1 night...
The location is excellent
Excellent location, Shopping Centers at walking distance and most banks at hand by taxi drive. Staff readiness to attend requests, answer questions and offer guidance about the city of Medellin, and Room and Facilities Cleanliness are A+.
The bed blanket was indeed too heavy for comfort, because despite a cool room temperature of 20 degrees celcius, one would sweat in the midlle of the sleep and got up off bed o set the the air conditioning temperature at a lower degree, say 16 degrees celcius in order no to sweat under the blanket; next time I will bring my own blanket!
Overall, it was a nice hotel. Nice clean, Euro-style hotel. Most of the staff was incredible. They spoke good English (front desk staff) and helped me with issues inside and outside the hotel, especially Natalia and Luis. Both of them went above and beyond the call of duty with helping me out with things. I cannot thank them enough. The room was very clean and modern. A bit on the small side, especially compared to American hotels, but nice, modern, and clean. Nice restaurant and bar.
The business center ... i.e. 2 computers with a so-called internet connection ... did not work that well and in some cases not at all. Problems logging on. As a matter of fact, the morning that I needed to print out my boarding pass, neither me or the staff at the hotel could get me logged on. Therefore, I was not able to print out my boarding pass. They really need to get this issue resolved. If having a computer with internet is important to you ... then do not stay at this hotel. Also, they do not provide hand towels or washcloths. They expect you to use your shower towel as a shower towel, hand towel and wash cloth. Wrong, wrong and wrong. This was an inconvenience to say the least. The pillows were HUGE. So big it was difficult to sleep on them or even put them against the headboard to lean against while watching TV. And no bedsheet between you and the comforter. Just a comforter over you. I didn't care for that. No ATM in the hotel. This was an big inconvenience. They need an ATM in the hotel. Rooms were too small. Small hotel rooms that you might find in Europe. Not the roomy American-style hotel rooms. It was a tight fit walking around the room.
The people are very nice Assisting you in whatever you need
You get the basic, but such a great value for the money especially if what you are mainly looking for is a nice and clean place to sleep. At a walkable distance from the metro (10 mins approximately)
Great hotel. Clean. Safe neighborhood. Basic necessities available on walking distance. Taxi available all day.
A lot of local taxi drivers were unfamiliar with this hotel. It sometimes takes time to reach the hotel and a good tip is to memorize the address it will help a lot.
Location and staff
I cannot complain
This is the second time at this hotel for business and it's a best value and location in Medellin. I will stay there on my next trip
Very friendly staff
Very few staff.
Beautiful view and centrally located in the city.
The food options in the hotel were not that diverse. Wi-Fi had trouble logging in or using lobby computer.
everything was clean and staff was efficient
only two towels while 2 adults and 1 child was using the room. I had to fetch the towel from the lobby, there was no service for bringing it to the room.
Although I stayed for one night, I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable and clean room; a great plus are the rain shower head, beds and wifi. Greatly appreciated the wonderful, professional and helpful staff. Although breakfast was not included, for a small fee, I enjoyed an excellent all-you-can-eat breakfast.
Not a lot of options for evening activities. Guests would need to hop on the metro (a few minutes walk) or taxi for better restaurant/bar selections. But generally, nothing to really dislike.
