Great staff, close to town, amazing property with lots of potential.
The Internets iffy
the lake, the surroundings, and the birds.
The hostel is set in a a very large area of land, which is most unusual. So you do not feel cramped at all. And a swimming pool too!
perfect surrounds for an amazon experience a few minutes walk from the main drags of Leticia. Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. Basic dorms but have whats needed. The owner is a nice guy and although the place is possibly undermanned, he will help and give useful advice if you listen
wifi is very flakey but you are in the amazon so maybe you should disconnect for a while anyway.
The ponds with turtles, nice owner, calm and silent place.
No mosquito nets above the beds.
This is a really good hostel to chill out at- it has a very laid back vibe allowing you to relax and read a book in the hammock area. The hostel is massive with 2 lakes which you can take a boat out on to. The owner is very helpful and friendly one morning giving us an array of amazon fruits to try for free! Cheap cold beer available Fans in the rooms Outdoor showers
The surrounding land is fantastic, plenty of room, beautiful scenery a great atmosphere created by the pets hanging around. It has a very natural feel to it and everyone whom enjoys living close to nature will really like this hostel.
Gustavo, our host, was absolutely wonderful.
The hostel could be the most amazing place. I really hope the owner will take some of this critic seriously because he owns a really great location.
The owner seemed like he only had the hostel to be able to earn his income. Did not feel like he treated his employees very well since they apparently all quit so the first day we were there he had to clean himself which was not done very well. The internet worked really bad and you had to go and stand next to his office to make it work. In addition, the pool were there but I never saw anyone use it which was understandable since it did not look very clean.
nice hostel (beautiful built) in a quiet place little outside of the busy city center, everything what you need
the kitchen didn't look well (although I haven't use it), the owner of the hostel is kind of strange person, but ok so far...
Great place set on a large plot of land, very enchanting, extremely friendly and helpful owner, makes you feel at home and part of a big community, really enjoyed my stay here, everyone should go here for a few days.
I didn't like leaving lol
Quiet and beautiful place. Pleasant to stay in common areas and to enjoy swimming pool. Staff and owner really friendly and helpful, they will help you to organize very good excursions. Good protection against mosquito at the windows.
Very poor wifi connection.
Great place to stay. Nice and chilled with hammocks to relax in and a pool to take a dip and cool off. Gustavo is great, with friendly advice and organising taxis and a tour operator to come to you at the hostel to offer option with dry reasonable prices
Wifi was out for a couple of days but I believe this was the case with the whole town. The kitchen is a little cramped and not that well stoked with utensils. Does make this difficult when a few people are trying to cook at the same time. Some attention with more bench space/tables and utensils would be great. Other than this all is great!
Nice big property with a pool and hamocks for relaxing. The reception area is a nice place to hangout in the evenings. The staff were really nice and made some drinks and foos for us a few times.
The wifi is terrible but that might be because its Leticia.
- good wifi that even works in the rooms - nice communal areas, they have a bar area where we met lots of people drinking every night, a kitchen, and a table tennis table - the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the showers worked well - the setting is incredible, it's surrounded by the jungle and has a small lake right next to it with turtles in it - the guy at reception, Carlos, was friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English!
- it was a bit of a walk out of town (10 mins or so), but not far away enough that it's inconvenient (also means it's nice and quiet - except for the sounds of the jungle)! - the kitchen could be stocked better, it didn't even have a knife or chopping board, and only one pan (although we borrowed stuff from the staff kitchen, so not the end of the world)
