Score from 149 reviews Very good
Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful. Location of facilities are great, if you don't want to leave the Bello Horizonte area. It's just 5-10 minutes from/to the airport. Breakfast has a good assortment. They have a very nice Sky Bar a the top of the building.
First of all, it's too expensive for what they have comparing to other beach areas around the world. Secondly, I was confirmed to be picked-up from the airport but my name wasn't on the list. And finally, I announced an early check-in (arrived at 11am at the front desk and check-ins begin at 3pm) and was told to wait till they call me when my room was ready. So I went to the beach, to the city port, took a boat ride, came back by 7pm and no one had called. I felt that because they have so many costumers during this high season, they actually don't care that much.
Early check in It was clean
Breakfest was terrible, they didnt have even tea, just greasy and more greasy things. One choice of cereal (sweet one) no granola or st healthy Hotel Is not on the beach as I thought. Some of the staff were very friendly other were not at all like 50%.
The people who works there is really nice and always taking care of you and your needs
We left a tip for a cleaning lady and she never got it.
beautiful spot by the beach with three swimming pools
small intimate feel....friendly staff. nice views !
Bumpy access road in; typical of the area; & not part of the Satorini property.safe didn't work.
Staff attitude and service
I got a noisy room which couldn't be changed until the second night
General Ambience, swimming pools and Internet facility
Very unfriendly desk people. The room we had was an arabic room that looks more a room from a low budget hotel it was not possible to close the window so it was not difficult for robberies, the safe in the room was not working, the Floor from the shower was approx. 35cm higher than the roomfloor so you can easy brake your legs, no light on the nightstand, television was not possible to view. Afther complain we received one better room but still was not worth the money. I can not understand how they give this very bad hotel 5 stars. My advice there are much better hotels in the area for less money.
The location is very good since it shares beaches with the larger hotels. Staff was always attentive to needs. The Sushi at the sky bar was very good. I would stay there again.
While being a block from the beach it doesn't really have a view of the ocean unless you specifically ask for a high floor.
Close to the beach
The administration, the service and the logistic at the hotel is very poor. Personal is not qualified therefore for the price you are paying is simply a fraud. There is absolutely nothing like "resort " the hotel is managed and served by novices without expertise and training. For the price you paid it is really a fraud. Don't ever go there. Better visit Irotama.
Modern and clean, very quiet so we got a top floor corner room with sea views. Two nice pools and a good gym all of which we often had to ourselves. The beach here is much nicer and quieter than cartagena, rodadero, taganga etc. Not sure why its not busier except maybe the choice of places to eat / go out locally is very limited.
In restsurant on first night i tried to order a drink at exactly ten oclock only to be told the bar closes at ten. No prior warning and no attempt to see if it was possible even though we were the only customers. The hotel has plumbing problems which sometimes results in no water for short periods and insufficient water pressure generally in toilets. This seems to be true for the area as a whole and needs addressing. Breakfast could do with more variety, only three fruits appear to be known to the kitchen and two of those are melon and pappaya, two of the most easy to get bored off. The rooms need a waste bin. The roof top pool has no shade so it is too hot to sit there during much of the day. There is a roller blind that would be a huge help but is broken and there is clearly no intention of fixing or replacing it. It is this lack of attention to detail (not uncommon in colombia) which stops this being a genuine 5* hotel. We did like and enjoy our stay here tho!
