Good view, nice!

got electrocuted while swimming in the pool because of a defective light. I could have died if I had fully touched the underwater light fixture. Nobody did anything about it for days or apologized. I could not use the pool for my entire one-week stay.
The location was super . Staff were good.
The wifi / internet was not good. We stay there and the days that we were there no internet only 5min. For that price I expect more and I booked it because the advertise that the have it. Need it because of business .
The staff were great, especially the wait staff in the restaurant - and the food was fabulous.
The noise was shocking. It was so loud that it was very difficult to sleep. The sound of the music in the restaurants below was so loud, it was as if the band was in the hotel room! Double-glazed windows seems to be necessary!!!! It is surprising that the hotel, with it's level of comfort and great location, doesn't have this.
Location was to die for
the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, location good,
This is not an hotel for mature people. Too noisy , you hear all night the music from the street and also noises from the other rooms. It is very difficult the entrance , there are many stairs and no handrails ( no hay donde agarrarse para subir las escaleras de entrada ) I don't recommend this hotel for people of our age (75 old) I also think that it is very expensive, the rooms are small and we had a junior suite with a very big balcony, but you don't use this .
I came for medical reasons. I needed a wheelchair. Within a few hours thay arranged it for me. which made my visiy in Medellin good.
The sushi was not good.
Great location. Nice room. Good breakfast.
Wifi was slow.
Location was excellent. It had a big well equipped gym.
Down stairs bar needs to be more open. More inviting for people to come in and just have a drink.
Location is unbeatable The italian restaurant is speechless
very stylish hotel
minor thing: wifi struggled sometimes due to excess of workload
Great style and taste, atmosphere
The friendly staff, the great balcony/view, great free breakfast selection, perfect location, amazing hotel gym!
Honestly, nothing. I wasn't able to check out "Envy", the bar/pool rooftop spot, because it was closed while I was there.
The hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The best location with a great atmosphere with bars and restaurants.
Excellent environment, design furniture and ambience. Big balcony with great view of Lleras park and the city. Great location, lots of restaurants and bars around.
As it is in the middle of the “party” night in Medellin, it might be slightly noisy for delicate ears.
there is too much noise from the square and from the people walking in the corridors.
1) the best thing was the Jacuzzi / hydro-massage tub we had in our balcony (for the room type I booked). 2) room was also fairly comfortable, location pretty good as you have so much activity and nightlife around you, view very nice too.
Many issues which annoyed me and why I would not return: 1) very thin walls, was very normal to hear the couple in the next room having their fun, and even the TV of the neighbors were so easy to hear and very loud, there is very little privacy in that sense and wakes you up from early morning if you have an active neighbor. 2) the breakfast (which was included in the room) was very limited, from a small menu, its NOT a buffet like in most hotels. Charlee hotel is very stingy in that regard and the best Breakfast items they charge for - only some basic options are free (if your breakfast is "included" ). 3) Their telephone system is terrible and overly complicated, no-one can figure out how to use them and they barely explain it to you! And even their TV system is not so simple - we had to call for help on how to use them! 4) Worst of all, my girlfriend had forgotten her charger in her room when we checked out. She went through Hell to claim it back days afterwards, they made her wait the whole weekend without a charger because the "maids room is locked in weekends" and were very rude to her and so unhelpful. When you check in, they are so friendly, but once you've checked out and paid, their true personalities appear! 5) Its very noisy outside as you are in the centre of the nightlife of Medellin, if you sleep very lightly - you may need to reconsider. 6) My room was for 2 people, but they only always provided 1 robe! it was just too much a nuisance to have to call them everyday asking for a 2nd robe. These points were so off-putting that i would never return again, despite the nice experience of having this Jacuzzi in the terrace of our room - that was the only highlight. the Next hotel i would go to myself is Hotel park 10.
The front desk staff was very nice.
The Charlee can not call itself a hotel because you can't sleep there. The rooms are not sound proof and the partying that is allowed in the rooms there is untolerable. Six and eight people were allowed to go into a room. We had three consecutive nights of no sleep from 3:30 am until 6 am when the people would finally pass out. The security would knock on their doors but they never stopped partying. The staff even claimed that they were going to shut the electricity off to the room but they never did. They even lied to me and said they did but the party never stopped and you can see the light from balcony to balcony and the electricity was never shut off. I also think shutting the electricity off is a very strange way of trying to control your guests.
Great Atmosphere, great location, Great Décor. Great Gym
Staff is under trained and lacks knowledge of the simplest food service protocol. Very slow and very relaxed. Don't be fooled by the amazing décor of their restaurant, food is not good. I odered a pork belly which was in special, I received a slab of fat (2 inches thick) which, for the first time in my life, I sent back. I was asked to order a different plate which arrived 25 minutes later. I saw my wife eat her plate and 25 mins. later she saw me eat mine. Rooms are separated by very thin walls, so you do hear everything that's going on next door. We had a terrible experience during our stay: the guest next door brought a prostitute to his room and we heard everything that went on. Although we asked to speak to the manager (and explained why), he did not approached us once during our stay.
