Airport Hotel Costa Rica  

close to the airport and shuttle included

there was a strange smell from the A/C but since the A/C was not cooling as well we didn't use it anyway (room 217)

When we arrived at the hotel, they hadn't received word that we were booked there for the night, but a worker named David found us a room. He was such a great help.

The Airport hotel hadn't received our reservations from Booking.com they didn't even know we were coming.

Very helpful staff at desk, v convenient for airport, all very efficient.

Pool was cold

I didn't find the gentleman at the front desk to be nice at all in the morning , he was disgruntled

I reallyi liked the fish chowder & the blankets & the young man who was at the reception desk when we checked in veeynice

The property is an ecological oasis. The gardens are filled with orchids, flowers, shrubs and trees that are spectacular. The facilities are exceptional as was the restaurant. Breakfast is provided and was also very good. The room was comfortable and clean, well appointed. If you are looking for a relaxing experience that is convenient to the airport, this is the place. Shuttle service provided free with notice.

too firm mattress for me no shopping within walking distance

The grounds are beautiful and it is a nice area to be so close to the airport. For $95 dollars I guess you cannot get a Hilton place! Breakfast was nice.

The hotel is very old. Our room was not very nice but our daughter who stayed with us had a better room.

Very convenient if coming or going from the airport - just five minutes away. The hotel does pay for the taxi which was very helpful given I was not familiar with local currency when I arrived. The hotel was very clean and current with bedding and decor while still having charm rather than being part of a hotel chain. The restaurant serves great food. Breakfast is included in the rate. They have a shuttle that will transport you back to airport. I really enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend this hotel.

I have no complaints.

They were very nice. Had a very good meal after arriving late to the hotel. Quiet and clean but not fancy, very dated and somewhat musty.

Wouldn't be a place to walk around outside the hotel property, area looks industrial.

Perfect place to start your trip when coming into town on a late flight... Very authentic and comfortable

Very convenient location near the airport and free shuttle. We also thought that their restaurant served exceptionally good Costa Rican food at very good prices.

It was near the airport, but the grounds were tropical and the atmosphere was Costa Rican, not American or European. Free shuttle by taxi was good. Receptionist spoke excellent English. Staff were friendly. Although near the airport, we were not bother by noise.

Only stayed one night on my way somewhere else. Concierge accomidating and helpful.

Room was not pleasant. Old not kept up at all. Porter who took my bags to room was borderline rude.

furnishings were genenrally old, and i think they should have more info onthings to do and places to go since they are the first point of contact for many people visiting Costa Rica

Clean, spacious very pretty grounds. An incredibly friendly, gnerous and helpful staff. They picked us up and took us back to the airport by cab (!)- paid for by the hotel. A beautiful restaurant, excellent food, lovely pool and most importantly as the last day in Costa Rica, a locally owned hotel that looked and felt like the beautiful eco lodges and countryside we had visited on our vacation

Some airport noise, but minimal.

Had what we needed plus the free shuttle and breakfast.

I liked that it was so close to the airport and that they provided a shuttle to the airport in the morning and paid for my taxi ride from the airport.

The rooms could use some updating.

The accomodation was basic but clean and in a garden like environment. There is a pool out back. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was relaxing to sit in the reception area as well as outside. The shuttle to the airport took 5 minutes and was paid for by the hotel.

Great location near the Airport at a reasonable price. Charming, picturesque, old fashioned. Not the usual plastic modern hotel/motel. We had a great steak dinner. Good drinks. Excellent jungle type grounds.

Lobby, and rooms a little frayed around the edges. Could use some renovation. Small pool.
