Loved the Buffet and Dinner Buffet.

* Bathrooms are too small for a Couple. * Bathtub was awefull, too slippery. * Was forced to put a towel on floor of Tub too avoid falling. Bad design.

The location is great. The service is wonderful and the concierges are excellent and very helpful

Great pool area; heated pool; beautiful nature gardens; parakeets in trees by pools; fantastic breakfast buffet; comfortable bed; extra toiletries in bathroom. Small birthday cake in honor of my birthday. Birthday gift of free WIFI from very nice receptionist (normally they charge $12/day or $20 for two days of WIFI). Didn't have to put toilet paper in basket like most places in Costa Rica.

No bath towels, hand towels or bath mat when needed. Cracks in bathroom floor. Room was more like 3 stars, grounds and pool were 4 stars.

Good price and good rooms. Very good breakfast.

I like the location and the staff was very friendly and polite....

but for a 5 star hotel it really lacks the quality, my room was humid, smelled and I didn't have towels, bathroom needed an overhaul and when they finally brought the towels they look like 100 years old, you can look through them...the food is average..in resume I wont go back there....

I loved the attentiveness of the staff, from the guy at the reception desk, who encouraged my practicing espanol, to Ricardo at the tour desk, who helped me customize my stay in Costa Rica, from tours, transportation, phone calls, and just plain friendliness, to the grounds keepers, Mario and Baltismo (? cant remember name), who showed us all the greenery in the gardens. The gardens were gorgeous, the pool was being remodeled, just about done. The location was safe, clean, non-touristy, close to the airport with a free shuttle, an impressive breakfast buffet of endless options. My boyfriend raved about the food the whole time. We walked through the gardens, out the property and into the surrounding area to explore a neighborhood, some interesting architecture, and a local playground/park.Our room was clean, comfy, modern, and room service was quick and tasty. I have no complaints. This was my second stay at the Barcelo San Jose Palacio. First time was business, this time was vacation, both times were above and beyond satisfying.

There was nothing I didn't like about the Barcelo. The price was fabulous, as were the staff, food, amenities, grounds, and location.

I have been lodged at San Jose Palacio Hotel many times. When traveling to beautiful Costa Rica I always try to be at that Hotel. My best recommendation is to be there and to come back !

Los servicios del hotel, piscina gimnasio, yacuzzi.

Que cobraran por WIFI (el único hotel de Costa Rica) Aunque en mi caso, como sólo iba a estar una noche, me dieron la clave gratis, cuando lo normal es que si vas a estar más noches, te la den gratis con mayor motivo.

Los servicios y las comodidades del hotel.

El restaurante donde se ofrecen los desayunos no tiene un servicio tan bueno.

Los espacios del parque externo, la piscina y los restaurantes.

La habitación la atención del personal, pero antiguo y no muy funcional.

Es caro y habia mucha gente, El desayuno francamente malo.

Maravilloso, bien ubicado y con un restaurante excelente.

No hay internet inalámbrico y cobran una fortuna si uno quiere contratarlo. Es algo absurdo en esta época, hasta hoteles diminutos cuentan con este servicio. Un día me cobraron alrededor de 100 dólares y al siguiente costaba 200. Eso estuvo muy mal, porque hace dudar de cuál es el verdadero valor de ese hotel. No es para 200 dólares.

Una delle mie compagne di viaggio diceva: non ho mai visto un Hotel cosi bellino con delle stanze cosi bellissime !In San Jose',una citta' con vari aspetti,la scelta del Barcelo' Palacio è stata fantastica!Ci è piaciuto tutto ,colazione,sauna,bagno turco ,tutto tutto......!

Qualidade do quarto, tendo inúmeros detalhes que não se encontra em outros hotéis. De fato, o barceló san jose nos surpreendeu.

Dat er voor deze prijs geen wifi inbegrepen is terwijl dit in vrijwel alle restaurants (ook in veel lagere prijsklassen) in Costa Rica wel te gebruiken is.

El hotel muy lindo y el buffet excelente lo recomiendo no dudes en ir

Sus camas son muy confortables, la vista de mi habitación muy agradable hacia la montaña. El desayuno buffet ríquisimo y la atención de los meseros muy bien. Mi estancia fue placentere y espero regresar algún día.

Kackerlackor i första rummet, byte till sämre kategori men utan kackerlackor- ingen kompensation. Personalen hade inte tillåtelse att ringa taxi till gästerna då de ville vi skulle använda hotellets DYRA bilar. Mycket bra på hotellet, men detta räcker för att inte välja barcelokedjan igen.

Me cobraron la habitación dos veces y para nosotros los que vivimos en Venezuela nos perjudica enormemente ya que tenemos un control de cambio. Consejo: personal altamente calificado en recepción
