Close to destination.
First night was under dining room. With the sliding of chairs and tables, no sleep.
- easy to get to Manuel Antonio by bus or car - front desk staff
- very noisy due to the bars and the casino - restaurant staff clearly had favourites and was slow
The hotel is conveniently located in Quepos and to the marina, the restaurant was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
The street noise was a little to much some evenings.
Convenient, great staff, good food at the restaurant and nice pool.
Noisy at night from the street
internet connection often didn't work.
Some staff were very nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean and shower was always warm. Great view of the sun setting and good location for the new marina.
By far the noisest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I travel 100 days a year for work. Do not stay in room 201, it is directly below the restaurant so from 5am to 11pm you will have the excruciating noise of chairs and tables being dragged across the tiled floor, and then for the period between 11pm to 5am there are 2 pubs across the road that play loud music for all in the hotel to hear. The noise was so bad one night I went up to observe and noticed that the furniture moving was solely being carried out by the staff preparing the tables for breakfast, so in summary he'd move all the tables into breakfast position, then people would come for dinner so he'd change the position of the table for dinner and then when they left he'd move it back to breakfast position. This went on repeatedly all night. So I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the girl just laughed, I hadn't even finished explaining, she had heard the complaint so many times I didn't need to explain. She rang the restaurant and told them to keep the noise down but to no avail, it just got worse. Forgetting this, this is not a 4 star hotel, it's a 3 star max, the lobby is 1 star at most. Wifi never works.
Parking place not available on every day. Close to noisy drinking mile. Undisturbing but straightforward recognizable redlight area close to the casino.
Great location, great restaurant, great price. Perfect place for the street fair and celebrations for New Years since it was just outside. Pool is nice. AC was great.
We got stuck with two small single beds which weren't comfortable. Not sure if the larger "queen" size beds in the hotel were more than large doubles. WiFi went down and did not work the entire time we were there. That was very inconvienient.
The frontdesk girl (Raquel) was very nice and friendly. Included Breakfast was excellent (allthough I missed my "gallo pinto"). It was pretty complete. The personel at the restaurant was friendly as well.
The menu at the restaurant was very very blad. (My girl wanted to eat lasagna I the menu not even included it).
Nothing, this is not even a one star hotel. Rooms are small, no hot water, bathrooms are very small and old. The front desk ask you to site on old and nasty couch on the lobby. I request to cancel the reservation, they said would charged for one night anyway. Very dirty hotel and noisy all night
The hotel, the rooms , the location, the parking, the beds, the bathrooms, the shower, the toilet the lavator, the stincky beds, the views, the noise, the dirty lobby with old dirty furnitures the customer care, the breakfast, the casino, the small dirty pool and more.
Not much to like here. I guess it beats sleeping on the sidewalk like most Costa Ricans. If you're a big fan of rock hard beds and noisy motorbikes whizzing by then this would be the perfect hotel for you.
The staff didn't seem to care that I was a Best Western Diamond Elite member. No upgrade or early checkin allowed. I asked them about the safe deposit box and they said it would be an extra $30 a day to use. They did not replace the coffee from the first night. The bathroom was horrible, small and had no A/c. Definitely not worth the price I paid.
No internet during 2 days Poor breakfast inclusive Rate not according to confort
The rooms overlooking the ocean on the top floor were great. Other rooms on second stay not so salubrious, but comfortable and clean. WiFi good, and location excellent for the town of Quepos
I left the sliding doors open to the balcony at dusk and my room filled with mosquitoes. Desk didn't have any insect spray. My fault, but be warned.
The hotel is located on the main road in the heart of the town. The rooms are large and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel and it was surprisingly good. Breakfast, which is included, was a very basic buffet - not particularly nice.
Quepos is a small town with little personality. No complaints about the hotel.
The staff were very nice.
The loud bar next to the hotel.
Everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was really nice and well kept.
renting the key for the in-room safe for an extra $3 a day. Strange, but not the biggest deal.
A great place! great value for money for money(just 10 minutes from manuel antonio by bus), very helpfull staff.
the pool was a little dirty
Good breakfast. Nice room.
Pretty far from Manuel Antonio park... Nothing to do in Quepos..
No refrigerator as advertised, stayed 2 nights with no maid service
I liked the outdoor pool area and the restaurant, which had a wonderful breakfast each morning and nice ocean view. The staff were excellent!
The location was poor! Although it is close to the ocean, it is only a boardwalk and you cannot swim. I did not feel safe walking around at night, as there were hardly any tourists. The hotel rooms were not as pictured on the website, and smelled of mould. The rooms were very noisy, being off the main stretch of road and were adjacent to two loud bars. I would have rather paid more and stayed in Manuel Antonio where all the action is.
Near Manuel Antonio park, nice view to the beach with the chance to see the sunset. Restaurant food and service very good.
Parking a block away of the hotel, a/c not cold enough.
Inconsistencies in putting chocolate while turning down bed.
Location excellent. Festivas Civicas day was very loud but fun to view from restaurant.
Pool area smelled of sewage.
nice comfortable rooms
the water and toilette didn´t work almost the whole time of our stay, poor breakfast
Everyday we had water problems. No water in the morning no water at night so ended up bathing in the pool at least once a day.
