The room had a funky smell. Maybe it was the chemical treatment to keep the wood from getting moldy, or maybe it was insect spray, but that pervasive smell kind of ruined it for me. We couldn't stay there longer than one night. We also didn't want to keep the windows open because they didn't have a screen, so the smell got worse over night!
I really liked the location, it was within easy walking distance of the main part of town, but not so close that you had loud music pumping next to your room all night.
I also really liked the open patio in front where you can lounge on hammocks or the couch. It was awesome to just relax there, any time of day. Wifi was excellent, I got a lot of work done there.
The kitchen was good too- very clean and large. 2 refrigerators. They didn't have any forks- random! There was a coffee maker and lots of coffee.
There was a hot water shower, low water pressure but still a nice experience! Bathroom and shower were clean. Cute furnishings and tastefully decorated. The room had a fan and mosquito net.
Heidi was not feeling well so we didn't get to chat with her much, instead we talked more with Becky, who was really knowledgeable and helpful.
