The staff was very friendly and entertaining . It was the most entertaining of the five that we stayed in Costa Rica. I highly recommend it
No bad experiences
The manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Also, the breakfasts were wonderful.
I would like to have had a mattress cover between the bottom sheet and the mattress.
manager was very helpful with any questions. Was able to easily book all my tours through him without any hassle.
Staff, coziess Big room.
A bit noisy, no insulation
The hotel is well situated in the center of Santa Elena / Monteverde, though quiet. The staff gives advice on activities, there is free tea and coffee and there is a nice choice for breakfast.
free breakfast was very good. really cosy feel to the kitchen/lounge area.
rooms are quite small
The location was great; short walk to town. They were very accommodating! Friendly staff; delicious, full breakfasts; free wifi and calling to the U.S. and Canada; nice kitchen and hang-out areas; great value
I can't think of anything
I never write reviews but just finished a visit to Camino Verde and felt I had to. The accommodations are basic, but clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean (and available to use). Great location. WiFi was good until it went out across Monteverde, but that was out of their control and they did their best to set up an alternative service as soon as possible. Lastly, what really made the experience was the staff. They knew everyone's name, checked in to make sure you were all set with uour plans and transport each day, and helped organize tours. Overall a really great experience! Loved the sunroom/patio!
José is incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast is simple and delicious.
On a windy Monteverde night, the building can be a tad noisy. It's not a problem, just be sure to pack ear plugs.
The location was great. A short walk to town and restaurants
No issues identified other than the office/gathering area closes a bit early so we couldn't get our drinks but all was fine.
Most of room facilities.
Jose and Andres made this stay amazing... They always went the extra mile to look after us. The hostel felt just like home and the pancakes at breakfast were a highlight! We'll never find another hostel as lovely as this one. Thanks for everything Jose and Andres!
It really didn't rain that much and we did the zip line and sky-tram which were both fantastic. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. The hotel is small but clean. The Bonanza Grill just down the street has great food and good people.
The room was very small but you can't have everything for $40/night.
Andrés, the host, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He printed some documents for us, chose a fun movie for our daughters during a very wet day. The free breakfast was delicious. His staff very efficient. We had free access to the kitchen for our own meal, space in the fridge and above all excellent free coffee and tea all day. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a squeeze for the 4 of us but luckily the bathroom was large enough for me to do my few morning yoga pose!!!!!
Bunkbeds were fine for the children might bea bit wably for adults.
Breakfast was quite nice although not much. Free tea & coffee all day
Room was super small and quite cold No nice view from the room The location is not that good since it's already out of the city
Beautiful location, spacious room, friendly and extremely helpful staff, lovely grounds, great breakfast and shared facilities. It's not fancy by any stretch but it's clean and pleasant and we'd definitely stay here again.
Rooms aren't very soundproof.
Great staff, very helpful in arranging trips and anything else you need. Very good breakfast and during the day they sell beer at very reasonable price. You also have access to kitchen & fridge during the day. Very good location, walking distance from Monteverde downtown restaurants area.
Room are a bit on the small side, bed is pretty small and shower is hard to operate to get warm water.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Jose was really attentive to our needs and was professional and friendly. The major plus side is that coffee and tea are served throughout the day and there's free breakfast included! I would highly recommend this B&B to ALL my friends and family! Gracias Jose'ito!
Style Breakfast Access to kitchen sitting area stonework free wifi at 60$/night
looping PG13+ music videos WiFi poor outside lobby billing confusing: what did I pay for? Constant wind at this location.
Good B&B for a stay of a few days
The weather. We could not find the B&B easy.
Great staff. Many excelent advices from the receptionist. So friendly and always there to help. We have had an unforgetable time at camino verde!
Everythi g was excelent
Pitsch befor check in. It was loud.
Nice views and common areas.
Kind of a trek uphill from town. It cost more than other similar places, but that may be because I booked so far ahead. Don't book way ahead here for July.
Jose is an excellent host. I would recommend this place very highly. Gracias for a wonderful weekend.
Always helpful and friendly proprietor available to help. Booking excursions with him was easy and effortless.
Booked excursions and incurred a number of different expenses with the proprietor but was a bit shell shocked when expected to pay my "tab" in cash at the end! Didn't see that coming and was a put off
