It was a little bit noisy at night but that's because of the strong winds there and how the house is built.
The location is pretty good. Away from the main street, close to town and there are 2 good sodas right next to the hotel. There is also a little store where you can buy some stuff (they were very friendly there, my kids loved their Chihuahua puppy).
The room was basic but it was clean and comfortable. The kids loved their bunk beds.
The breakfast was delicious, and you could use the fridge and the kitchen for preparing your own food. You could also buy drinks there.
Andres, our host, was really helpful. He speaks fluent English and he booked two awesome trips for us (horseback riding and a trip to Selvatura Park, for the hanging bridges and canopy). And he basically saved our trip from turning into a disaster!!! After 2 nights there, we headed south to Manuel Antonio. There I found out that I forgot our passports at Camino Verde. When I checked my phone for contact information I saw that I already got an e-mail from Andres that we forgot our passports. I called him and he said that he will take care of it and send the passports with a company he knows to Manuel Antonio. And in fact, the next day we had our passports back!!! Omg, I was so relieved and thankful! I'm pretty sure if that would have happened in our first hotel on our trip where nobody really talked fluent English we would probably had to drive all the long way back to get our passports. So, Andres, thanks again for your help!!!
If you are looking for an affordable place to stay, great breakfast and friendly hosts, this is where you should go!
