Clandestino Beach Resort  

It's located on an amazing beach, the service was great and very friendly, they have lots if activities like billiard table, ping pong and many more

The staff at clandestino was amazing. Beautiful resort with delicious food. Rooms are clean and exactly as advertised. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely plan on returning in the future.

It was perfect.

The Hotel is very good directly at the beach. the food in the restaurant was good, the rooms are confortable big and clean. The way to the hotel is easy not dificult to find. We love the place.

The prices in the Hotel are very hoigh compared with the rest of Costa Rica, even other 4 Starts hotel in the big towns have better prices in the Restaurant, special the drinks are very expensive.

It was a great place, very beautiful beach not far from San Jose, not too crowded and the hotel is amazing. The pool is great, the weather is nice, and the people is really nice. Totally recommended!

The only thing is you need to have cash and groceries because there are no stores near, so if you forgot something like a bottle of water, you'll need to pay a lot more to get one at the hotel.

A small enough resort to feel comfortable yet an awesome location with spectacular views of the ocean ,friendly , courteous staff made this stay wonderful. We recommend this hotel.

They charge us as soon as we arrived. When we checked out the told us there were additional fees because we were 4 people. This was not disclosed during reservation and/or during phone conversation with them. Food was below standards: for lunch they had a nacho platter with spray cheese "cheese whiz" The pictures should be updated because the place does not look as it shown. 5 miles of dirt road with big potholes to get there, need an suv a regular car will get damaged on that road.

Remote location, no tourists around, only 12 rooms in the hotel: if you really want to get away, you will have miles of Pacific ocean beach to yourself. Do not expect swimming -rough surf, but excellent beaches for walking and sunbathing. The best deal for the money-- Mangrove tour on a jet ski with owner's son, do not miss it.

Absolutely everything. It could not have been more heavenly! It was a perfect vacation thanks to the Clandestino.

The dirt road to the resort needs repair...but to be expected. And would have loved a tub instead of shower!

My girlfriend Stephanie and I just got home after spending 7 nights at Clandestino and we couldn't have been happier during our stay! The rooms were gorgeous, the property was immaculate, and the staff was super friendly! After reading a few of the negative reviews online, we were a bit weary, but upon arriving we realized those reviews were the epitomy of what we wanted. It's paradise at the end of a long dirt road! If you are looking for lots of partying and an abundance of people, this isn't for you. If you're looking for surf sessions where you're the only one in the water, delicous drinks and food by a perfect pool, and long walks on a beautiful, deserted beach, than this is your spot. It's a quick trip to any of the surrounding towns if you're looking for a change of pace, or a day of adventure, but returning home to Clandestino and Palo Seco was about right for us each day. Pura Vida!

It's got great European and design touches. Beautiful including pool. Remote no people.

Lost power for half the trip and slept in humidity taking 12 hours at a time to restore with no backup generator. Internet intemittent. Need car as taxis exorbitant.

Comida excelente, La piscina es muy buena, las habitaciones grandes y comodas.. Pero sobretodo la tranquilidad. Ideal para descansar.

La Playa es peligrosa. Perfecta para caminar pero no para bañarse.

Nos encantó...un hotel con muchos detalles. frente al mar. Cerca. Comida rica.

- Très propre, très jolies chambres décorées avec goût et raffinement - Service très courtoi et flexible - Site très agréable combinant plusieurs avantages: plage à 1 min., piscine, jacouzi, bar,etc

-Tarif pour les enfants très élevés (exagérés), mais surtout non annoncé, on nous apprend le tout lors de notre arrivée...mauvaise surpise! - La Carte (menu) limitée pour le prestige des lieux et le rapport qualité/prix des repas est élevé

El hotel es maravilloso y el staff ahi muy amable. Este fue la mejor opciòn para ir a la playa en Costa Rica. Es muy privado, el hotel hermoso, no hay nada de gente en la playa y puedes caminar por horas a lado del mar. La alberca e instalaciones son perfectas para escaparte de la ciudad y relajarte disfrutando el sol y aventura de costa rica.

top spot, discret dans la nature, chambre (1/4 de maisons) et salle de bains généreux, belle hauteur et grandeur de pièces, grands fénêtres, grands lits, beau coton pour les lits, situé dans la forêt tropicale, pleins de belles plantes et fleurs, maitresse d'hôtel très sympathique

L'architecture de bon goût, la situation, la piscine en bord de mer, la plage déserte, le calme, le jardin, etc

La carte des mets trop restreinte

Очень комфортно,чисто,пляж рядом,бассейн теплый и не хлорированный.Персонал очень приветливый.Завтрак:яйца,бекон,тосты,кофе.До 21-30 работает ресторан,кормят вкусно,но дороговато.

Удаленность от населенного пункта,такси не дешевое.

Nos encantó el ambiente relajado, la cercanía a la playa, la piscina siempre caliente y la comida del restaurante es fantástica. Las habitaciones son muy confortables. Los niños se divierten muchísimo en la piscina ya que está muy bien diseñada tiene una zona con poca profundidad donde ellos pueden estar.

El estado de la carretera es bastante malo, pero es normal en este tipo de zonas cercanas a las playas y está fuera del control del hotel.

Es un lugar muy exclusivo, discreto y seguro. La picina es excelente y la comida es muy rica.

La ubicación en el Pacífico central porque es una área muy lluviosa. Además la playa es peligrosa para bañarse.

Le dépaysement est total dans cet havre de paix, confortable et exotique.On se sent comme au bout du monde...Le personnel sympathique et disponible, est toujours prêt à vous rendre service. La directrice, ainsi que son adjointe, sont toujours disponibles et à l'écoute pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Elles seront de bons conseils pour les différentes activités et découvertes à ne pas manquer... Que du positif!!!

endroit ideal pour se ressourcer er passer de tres bons moments,beaute du paysage tranquillite et situation en font une reference dans la zone Pacifique centrale. A connaitre et a faire connaitre salutations

Etablissement très bien tenu par sa propriétaire Diane qui a eu beaucoup de goût dans la décoration en bambou et qui sait recevoir ses clients comme si c'était sa propre maison avec tact et courtoisie dans un décor de carte postale.
