The staff was very warm and accommodating and provided excellent service. Upon our arrival and to our surprise, we were upgraded to another room by Jhonatan, who greeted us at the reception desk; he was very nice. The restaurant has excellent food and provides a great view of the jungle and ocean. The room's air conditioner worked great and the shower had "real", hot water.
The Hotel is too close to the main highway and a lot of semi-trucks run continuously throughout the night. The Jacuzzi wasn't heated and depending on where you physically are within the hotel, the Wi-Fi is poor. However, even with the above, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.
Wild life, particularly the monkeys! Also enjoyed the openness of the restaurant and its décor. Wait staff was great!
Would like to have had more light in the room. All-in-all very little to complain about here!
I am not sure if the price is always the same. We payed 89$ (60€ aprox) per night (taxes not included) for a great hotel with a wonderful pool. We got a free upgrade to a double deluxe. Room was clean and big. Wifi worked great. TV also. We had a balcon to the swimmingpool where we also could see the jungle and the sea at the end. People was very nice.
Only 2 bad things. Far away from any other restaurant or town. Without a car is difficult to move from there. Restaurant in the hotel is good (not excelent). The treatment of the waiters is like a luxurius Restauran and the prices are also high but the food was not that good, that is why I find it a too expensive.
- The food of the hotel is the best very very delicius - the view to the beach and all the area is amazing the rooms are big and comfy
Great staff, very clean and great views out to the ocean.
No path to the beach but just a short drive.
The service and corduality was outstanding ! The meals were delicious, so we ate there every night. We give this quaint resort four stars, spoil yourselves, disfrutar "la Pura Vida!!
Pretty much everything. All of the staff was very friendly and always extremely helpful.
The pomp and circumstance in the restaurant at dinner.
Amazing service, quite skilled staff, food was delicious!!!
The views were absolutely beautiful. The food was very good. The staff was excellent.
Everything about the place, very relaxing atmosphere. Staff is excellent.
Quality, relaxing hotel
We fell in love with Cuna Del Angel. It is a beautiful slice of Pura Vida paradise. The entire hotel staff exudes hospitality and care. The food is excellent. But it's not just their dinner menu that has us looking forward to another visit. From the infinity pool to the variety of local beaches, it was a fantastic hotel.
We had an incredible stay here. Everything was lovely, the staff were wonderful, and it is an absolutely stunning location. Highly recommended!

Road noise from trucks Staff could be more experienced Price could be more reasonable
We enjoyed 2 stays in 2 weeks and were very pleased. Restaurant excellent and romantic.

Your decoration and all your glases. The staff is very helpfull.
No smooking area Earlier there was a fantastic cook, he must have left!!!
Excellent service Beautiful landscape Staff friendly and attentive Clean and modern (deluxe rooms)
I liked the restaurant view and Breakfast, Reception personnel was very polite, the hotel has good maintenance and a nice view. Hotel oversold and provided one night free to help them make changes in our reservations.
I didn't like the service provided by the waiters at the restaurant, one day I had lunch and took 1 hr and 30 min for 4 people to get our dishes, there were apologies about it however they also provided excuses that were not acceptable to me. Standard Rooms are too small and the TV is also very small, the house rental didn't get clean during one night we stayed and the rooms are too small also. No one told us at the hotel that they had access via trails to a rocky beach, we found out the last day and went, it would have been beautiful to enjoy more days if we knew. The waiter offered water, I asked for tap water and they served from a big bottle and charged it without asking. I wouldn't come back for the price I paid which was $240 per night in deluxe rooms.
If you stay in upper rooms it's so Lovely even romantic. The restaurant is charming n romantic with a great view of sunset sky. The pool is lovely, great place to relax.
First, do not stay in the jungle rooms, below. Smells of mildew, small rooms not neat as nice as upstairs. We were able to transfer up there-- it was comfortable n luxurious. 2nd, the jacuzzi is cool, not hot, apparently never has been. The room AC worked sporadically. The breakfast buffet was great, but they could not cook a steak right til the third try.
