Tryp San Jose, Sabana    

Really comfortable hotel, definitely I would stay there again! Very nice restaurant, they took really good care of us. Really close to the Sabana Park, great for our morning run.

Comfortable room in good location (for me) at reasonable price.

1) There was no place in the shower/toilet room except the floor to put anything down such as shampoo, my glasses, etc. Only a flat metal soap dish that wouldn't hold anything. 2) The hotel's gym room was so small that it really was useless. Not even a place to do a sit up. The machines were not well adjusted so that the pad on the running machine slipped and the striding machine banged.

I stayed here overnight before catching a domestic flight to tambor. It's close to Pavas (tobias bolaneos) airport so was perfect. The staff were very helpful. The rooms very clean modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Lots to choose from!

Not sure how central it is if you want to walk into the city.

I stayed at the hotel twice last September and loved it. This time the room was grubby, carpet and windows awful and staff very busy with constant tour groups (Gate 1 etc). Not fun. The breakfast was also a disappointment this time.

After some trouble locating the hotel and with our luggage missing, it was a nice surprise entering in the spacious, clean room with two very comfortable beds, as many pillows as one could put on a bed, clean luxurious bedding, large bathroom... The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast with enough choice for all tastes and once again, very friendly staff for a city. The hotel is located just far enough from the hustle and bustle from the city, but not a long walk from all the shops etc.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hotel feels very safe and the rooms are big and clean. Staff is very professional and will always welcomes you with a smile.

Everything was ok, but these are some areas that could be improved: - Isolation in some of the rooms is not that good (the window in my room could not be closed completely), so it may be become noisy at certain hours (morning in particular). - Breakfast was standard and varied, but a few more "healthy" cereals would be welcomed as an option.

The Hotel was neat, clean and spacious. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a value for money.

The Tryp was am awesome hotel the staff were very friendly and so Hopeful. I had injured my knee and the went way above and beyond to assist me.

Stayed there on a Saturday night and noise from dico ventilators was unbearable. We left the hotel after we were told there was nothing they could do about this. They did not charge for the "temp"stay

Totally dis-organised - especially the breakfast! Noisy rooms. Dirty carpets throughout Restaurant poorly managed and poor service. .

My friend and I had excellent service from Michael and Heiner the bartenders. The food and the accommodations were very good.

The staff overall was not very friendly. When we said hello no one responded. When we went to the breakfast buffet no one talked to us or helped us. Your staff needs to be more friendly and provide a feeling that makes people feel welcome.

San Jose is a noisy city and when just traveling through, as we were, all we want is a clean, quiet room and decent dining facilities - this hotel is perfect. However for value for money too it can't be beat. The included breakfast was top rate. Monitored parking is also provided in the cost.

Me desagradó absolutamente el estar en una habitación (501) que da a una discoteque. Es imposible dormir la noche del sábado. El ruido, olor y humo de cigarro son insoportables.
