The staff was very helpful. They arranged 4 tours for us while we there and we enjoyed them all. Beautiful views from our room. Rooms were nicely funrnished with Costa Rican style. Restaurant area was very scenic.
Meal service was very slow, but my filet mignon was excellent when it finally arrived.
I liked the view from our room, ac, and wifi.
Pool was a little dirty. Noisy street close by.
The girls that cooked every morning where awesome and went above and beyond. They also kept the room clean.
Recommendations of thinks to do where not based on what's good for the client, but the kick back other places gave the hotel. My advice is go out and get your own deals.

Beware!! Beware!! beware!! We had the misfortune of staying at this place for a week beween Christmas & New Year. We couldn'T change to a better hotel as everything in Manuel Antonio was fully booked. My partner was seriously injured and knocked unconcious by a palm tree branch which fell on his head on the hotel property. Hè was rushed to hospital by ambulance with his head in a neck brace, was kept in hospital overnight was put on intraveneus antibiotics, and was given stitches to the wound on his head. Hè had no feeling in his arms, and spent the next couple of days in bed. The hotel denied all responsibility staying that it was illegal to remove dead hanging branches and coconuts from trees. This is NOT true. They do not have civil liabilty insurance to cover damages to guests on their property nor do they take any precautions whatsoever to prevent such accidents from happening. When we approached them to ask About having the expensive hospital costs reimbursed we were told that people die and get injured in Costa Rica everyday, iTS a a dangerous country.q The owner denied being the owner and the staff who had been friendly up to this point also became hostile. When we told them we would be consulting a lawyer they told us that karma comes around. They did nothing whatsoever, did not even approach us to see how we were doing or offer any help or form of compensation or assistance. When we finally left we asked at the next hotel how they do things they told us they have civil liabaility insurance but also take extensive precautions to prevent their guests from having accidents. All trees are kept well and all hanging coconuts and branches along pathways are removed. The hotel itself is very , very noisy being on the corner of a very streep Hill so buses and cars are continually going by in second gear in rooms 1,2,3 & 4 it sounds as If they are coming in through the wall.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Door to my room would not lock from the inside and the latch also did not work. Had to put a chair in front of the door for some sort of security at night. Also light outside the room did not work.
