The hotel consists only of 6 little houses and all of them are facing the sea (you can see it from some of them, from the others the trees cover the view, but you can definetely hear the waves), has a nice garden and the houses are comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a lot of space, it's on two levels, with a nice terrace both downstairs and upstairs.

The breakfast is not included. A lot of things need reparation (we were offered to change the house, because our air conditioning was leaking... basically it was raining on the side of the bed). The "fancy" massage showers in both houses didn't work properly (you could still have a decent shower, but why putting a massage shower with several options, if later it's not properly maintained). Wi-fi only worked in the reception

Staff were very friendly and took great care of my friend and I. The cabins were amazing! There was a kettle, toaster, microwave, pots, pans, cutlery, fridge and freezer should you want to cook. A supermarket and the jaguar rehab centre were around a 5 mins walk away. Location was excellent. You can get a bus to manzanillo or cahuita (check times though) or cycle around on rented bikes. There is a beach right opposite good for sunbathing but not swimming (rough). Punta uva beach is not far away (bike around 15 mins) and is picturesque and good for swimming. It is quieter than Puerto Viejo which suited us.

Very modern, stylish and nice furnished villas, 2 min walk from the ocean. Quiet location, far away from Puerto Viejo center. Animals rescue center is very close, in walking distance.

sewer smell near our villa (the most distant from the entrance)

    Very friendly staff, great facilities.

Forget Internet connection in the bungalows. It's stated they have wifi, which is true, but it doesn't work, so until repeaters are installed, they shouldn't be allowed to claim having Internet in the bungalows. The cleaning lady could do better. Ants are not easy to get rid of in this area, no matter the hotel, but a good try is recommended. Spider web in the corners and bird droppings on the balcony are not okay. Despite the above, in all very nice accommodation. Would come back if the wifi got sorted.

    I really like the room.

No swimming pool is bad for a family with kids. Spas didn't work. No breakfast no even for pay option.

Talk about getting bang for your buck! This hotel comes a 2 floor, 2 balcony room that will fit all your needs. The bathroom was very updated and has a fantastic shower with several jets. The balcony upstairs had a great view of the sea, which is directly across the street. The staff was very friendly. The check-in staff helped us tremendously and treated us like family. When we travel to puerto viejo, we will only stay at this resort in the future. Honestly, it was a real bargain.

Sky light in the bedroom. The ceilings are vaulted and the skylight, although appealing durning the day and early evening hours, was too bright for us in the early morning hours when we were trying to sleep.

very friendly staff; nice, stylish and well furnished cabins, teak-wood floor, very clean. Terrace and balcony. Quiet location (other reviewers comment concern about he solitude, but the place has a security guard, when the reception is closed at night). Place is self-catering - breakfast or snacks only on advance notice, but restaurants / "soda" for bf just a few meters walking distance.

no pool, but ocean is just a 2 min. walk across the street (partly strong currents and waves!)
