Only thing I like is the location.
First, there is no wifi access in the room and even in the breakfast area and by the pool area which is supposed to be public area. Second, the room is so dark and there is only one small part of the window that could be open for fresh air. Third, the room that we got is all the way to the end that we have to take the long stairs to get to the reception to get wifi connection. Fourth, the front desk lied saying our room was upgraded to a suite but in fact it was a regular room with one bed and a bathroom. ***Recommendation: NO
Swimming pool breakfast rooms sleep quality location price overall infraestructure
Location- as with all in Manuel Antonio things are a bit far away. But you can take the bus
Very good location, not far from the Manuel Antonio park and the main beaches. Breakfast was really good and is served on a shady terrasse by the pool.
This place was like a dungeon. Lots of steps and the pictures can be deceiving. The best room in the place was apparently pictured in their ad. Some rooms had dehumidifiers and you were supposed to turn off the air conditioner if you left the room. Breakfast was just so-so. The only plus I can say about this place is that it is located near good restaurants, atms, and grocery stores.
Just about everything.
this place looks sketchy from the street, but is a surprise gem. It is tucked into the forest and wildlife teems around it. The pool was very refreshing after a day in the intense heat. Easy to hop on a bus to get to the park and beaches in five minutes. Lots of good restaurants to walk to, and a market and bank. across the street
The hotel is conveniently located next to a supermarket, an ATM, several restaurants and a bus stop from which it's a very short ride to the beach. Breakfast is cooked to order and even though it's not huge, we were satisfied. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are reasonably clean.
The A/C is horribly loud, possibly the loudest I've ever heard, the sleep setting doesn't work - I'm a light sleeper and I was lucky I had earplugs. The A/C switches itself off if you keep it running longer (comes back on). The fan in our room didn't work and didn't get repaired, even though we mentioned it to the staff. The room gets uncomfortably hot without the A/C. The room (we had a studio) was also very dark and not at all cosy. The furniture is old and it shows. The shower stall was open-air, which was strange, but luckily not a problem since it was warm during our stay - still, it wasn't trust-inspiring, esp. concerning bugs and such. It was the most expensive hotel in our 3-week tour of Costa Rica and even though I know that Manuel Antonio is expensive in general, I still would have expected a better value for the money.
It was in a good location
property very old and dingy. studio very small and smelt damp. mattresses very uncomfortable, curtains very thin and room lit up all night. floor extremely slippery, steep slippery stairs with no handrail and no light. only 1 lock on door and no light outside door. No flatscreen t.v. as advertised but an old t.v with a fuzzy picture. No coffee provided for coffee maker and towels old and frayed. Way overpriced, we had to leave after 1 night when my child slipped and fell down the stairs and we found beautiful hotels that were safe and much cheaper. This place does not look like the photos online.
The staff was super friendly and the location is perfect for the manuel antonio area. Very close to great restaurants and bars and a quick cab ride from the beach. Our room was a little small but perfect for a couple. The rooms were very well maintained and very pretty as well. Breakfast made to order every morning by the pool. This place is a hidden gem for sure, highly recommend
No complaints, loved it here
location was very convenient to food, bus line, located almost midway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Staff was very helpful
hotel room was a little noisey
The staff is really nice and helpful. The location is good if you want to visit the national park and you can also find nice restaurants and bars in the area
Value for money is really bad. I think the hotel was nice 10 years ago. Maintainance is really necessary! I don't understand why this hotel good so many good reviews! The a/c is ages old and actually doesn't do its work. The pool doens't look inviting. We had a Studio but it was really not luxurious. You can rather book a really good hotel and pay more or book something cheap and pay less.
This hotel provides large rooms which are very very clean and comfortable,The location is perfect, very close to the park 'Manuel Antonio' and the service was excellent!!!
