Overlooking Culebra Bay’s spectacular cliffs, this all-inclusive complex offers a private beach, 2 freeform swimming pools and a spa. Each stylish room has a balcony with partial views of the bay. The spacious rooms at Occidental Grand Papagayo include satellite TV, a DVD player and a safe. There is a coffee maker and a free minibar with beer, soft drinks and water. Unlimited food, drinks and snacks are available from the Occidental Grand’s international restaurants and bars. There is a weekly cocktail party, live evening entertainment and an on-site nightclub. Occidental Grand Papagayo is situated on Costa Rica’s tropical Pacific Coast, a 35-minute drive from Liberia International Airport. The amenities were very good. We loved the views. Very impressive. When we arrived, the rroms were not ready. When we finally were given our room (105) we discovered that the sheets on the bed were soiled. The bath tub had not been washed. There was sand in the tub. The first night, the airconditioning dripped water on the floor the entire night. There were no rails along the stairs leading from the pool to the main building for those who are aged or infirmed. The service did get better the following days. However, first impressions were not good.

La atencion en recepcion y en el restorant bufett no habia almohadas,el baño no esta en buenas condiciones ,las cortinas sucias y rotas,caja fuerte rota ,el llavin suelto

Beautiful entrance design. It's a total rip off. The staff were not helpful, the room was old, mold smell everywhere, bathroom walls had molds around the tiles, at 3 pm there was no more towels and chairs available by the pool.
