Desk staff and transfer/tour drivers were excellant and efficient transfer to hotel and to airport quick and efficient resturant food and breakfast were good site was very clean and attractive good hotel for arrival departure at airport san jose city has more to visit and see but ideal for airport Cleaners working around pool whilst relaxing -told her to go away and clean when no visitors sat around also garden strimming, pool cleaning and leaf blowing noise whilst trying to relax nothing in immediate area to leave hotel for, poas volcano car trip was good. very little choice there was no menuu it was set (rice and beans) with only a choice of chicken beef pork or fish what was served was well presented and good

The staff were very friendly and willing to help you. Grounds were very clean and well kept. Nice setting. The beds were very hard. The rooms were dark and need better lighting. In addition there were no safes to lock up your valuables when away from your room so you always had to carry valuables with you.

Close to birding and extremely helpful.sad to see natural habitat disappearing as some property owners not aware of the importance of maintaining an open mind to continue keeping costa rica as a first class birding destination. Everything.Would stay there again

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The rooms and surroundings were extremely clean and well maintained. The location (as with many places in Costa Rica) is very difficult to find. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable and the pillows were horrendous.

The family members whom own and operate this facility are exceptional and go beyond expectations to make your stay enjoyable. What ever help you may require, they will assist you and get issues resolved. I highly recommend that people that arrive in San Jose by plane, take a taxi to get there or pre-arrange the hotel shuttle to pick them up.

Was a convenient short shuttle ride to airport. Front Desk personnel not sufficiently trained. The first two rooms shown to us were unsatisfactory Our building had no usable tv service Inadequate box breakfasts for those leaving hotel on early morning flights

It was clean. The staff was friendly. I choose to stay at the Hotel Robledal because it was my last night in Costa Rica and I wanted to be close to the airport. As the hotel is not located close to anything other than the airport I would have to believe that this is the reason why the majority of people stay there. In my case I had an early flight. The hotel charged me for breakfast even though they did not provide me with breakfast. The hotel did not even have coffee. The hotel does not start serving breakfast until 7 am and this includes coffee. Kind of odd for an airport hotel.

This hotel was great! What makes it so special is the family who owns and runs it. It exceeded my expectations. The free shuttle was great and when my luggage didn't arrive the driver offered to take me to a store to buy neccesities.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle driver even got up to drive us to the airport at 4:30 in the morning. Great people. Convenient location. Room was clean and hotel seemed well maintained. Beds were only ok. Most people would probably find them fine, but I like my bed to be really soft. Wish the hot tub had been turned on and heated. Rooms near the pool can be a bit noisy if people are using it.

Sehr nette Inhaber. Saubere Zimmer, freier Flughafen-Shuttle, freies WLAN. Sicheres, aber nicht so schönes Viertel. Dafür ruhig, trotz Nähe zum Flughafen SJO.

We chose the hotel because it was relatively close to SJO and the car rental drop off. In fact you could hear the airplanes overhead and worried that the sound might keep us awake at night. It didn't. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious - especially the tenderloin steak.
