It's very close to Manuel Antonio National Park There's a pool in the sixth floor. Also there's a deck with view to the ocean, pretty cool

    Price was a little expensive

    Great breakfast

We booked a room for 3 people over a week in advance and paid with a credit card. On arrival we were put in a small room made even smaller when they drug in a small wooden bed. They charged us $30 more per night for that.

The hotel is at the entrance to the National Park and across the street from the beach when you use the special exit to the beach. The staff is incredible. Don't miss the pool and the views from the 6th floor. Beware if you are traveling to any hotel in Costa Rica because if you arrive with children over 8 there will be an additional charge. These sites only tell the hotel 2 adults and assume children up to 17 will be free, but that is not so. At at San Bada it is an additional $40 for each older child.

That Booking does not reserve for the correct number of people who need to pay (they assumed the young teens are free) and I had to pay more at the hotel.

    1. The location - close to the beach and the park. 2. The large fridge, the comfortable bed, the TV. 3. Pleasant staff. 4. The pool with water slide. 5. Overall clean environment.

The faucet in our bathroom didn't have much water coming out of it and was a little difficult to use.

The view from the restaurant was beautiful and a nice place to relax. The beds and rooms were nice and fresh, lots of light. The service in restaurant was friendly and accommodating. Nice spa. There were lots of pretty plants around the area. Nice and close to the Ntl Park!

There was a little balcony but no chairs to sit on. Needed to have more sitting areas. Food average in restaurant, but pricey.

The main reason we stayed at this hotel was because it was right next to Manuel Antonio park and we had been told that the squirrel monkeys visited that hotel. We weren't disappointed, we saw a large family of squirrel monkeys. The restaurant was very good. The Food and Beverage Manager, Jorge Madriz, introduced himself to all of the diners and made sure that we were satisfied with the food. Our dinner was excellent!

Our room needed some bedside lamps.

Location, and access to the park and beach, view from hotel roof bar and pool area.

Reserved a room specifying with 2 beds, but they only had a room with one bed (king) when we checked in. However they changed our room to one with 2 beds the next night.

The hotel is right at the entrance of the Nationalpark and close to one of the best beaches of costa Rica. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. We also had a nice view. The staff at the hotel is very friendly.

The hotel restaurant is really bad. Breakfast buffet was borderline disgusting and staff is inattentive. One other point we did not like was that the hotel mostly hosts bus groups, which are mostly old americans and give the hotel a feeling of a retirement home.

Our room on the fifth floor had a wonderful view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the adults only pool on the sixth floor and the chairs in the sixth floor bar area that faced the ocean so many people could enjoy a drink and watch the incredible sunset.

It would be nice if they had a shower and change room near the main pool for use by guests who had checked out but wanted to go to the beach or use the pool for the remainder of the day. Other hotels in the area offer this service.

Location was wonderful. The adults only people and bar on the top floor was a plus and the view is excellent.

The bed was hard and floor felt dirty.

The staff is very eager to help in everything you may need. Cleaning ladies are very efficient and the rooms and the common areas were very tidy at all times.

There was a construction work going on. It did not bother us too much, as we spent days mostly out of the hotel, but for example taking a nap would have been pretty impossible daytime because of the noise.

Staff was excellent Location near beach as well as well as park was excellent Facilities were good. Food was good

Room was average but overpriced. Room had musty odor because of the use of lot of wood in very humid environment Bathroom wasn't very clean In their restaurant food was very good and morning and lunch service was excellent but dinner service was very slow and poor and more or less collapsed when there were too many tables to serve as there were only 2 people running entire dinner service

Rooms were tasteful and comfortable; a/c and hot water worked well. Proximity to the park meant lots of birds and other interesting animals. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, for example pointing out interesting wildlife and returning a personal umbrella. (The big hotel umbrellas are also a nice touch - so you don't have to pack wet ones.) A problem that occurred (not their fault) was handled very professionally. Food (free full breakfast and restaurant both) was very good. Extra towels were avalilable for beach/pool. Right next to Manuel Antonio park; also access to nearby public beach - which was good because park is closed on Mondays.

Given that it was low season and many rooms were unoccupied, earlier access to our rooms would have been appreciated, though they did keep luggage behind the desk while we visited the national park. Mosquitos were a small problem at times.
