Close to Liberia airport, it was a better choice than paying for a pricey hotel as we were only staying there the night we flew in and before our flight out. Hotel provided shuttle to the airport for $10US.
Restaurant not open for dinner.
The sheets and towels were clean and felt soft and nice
The toilet was clogged, the bad was too rough, we had to go and ask for hot water to shower, and there was a stuffy smell
Horrible noise throughout whole night. Sleeping was impossible.
William was accommodating to attend to issues and close to airport and car rental return.
Nearby Rooster started crowing @2:00am, stopped for about 45 mins then crowed through the remainder of the night. Circuit breaker kept opening.
Close to airport Cheap shuttle to airport Appropriate value for what we paid
The general opinion is good for my stay in this hotel. I would come back again in the future if I need to go thru LIR. A little hiccup was that we arrived at the hotel about 11pm. I had 2 separated rooms booked at different time. but they only had 1 room for me. we had to use our very broken Spanish to explain to the security staff that we should have 2 rooms. luckily they had vacancies and added another room for us. the rest are fine.
Is good when you get late to Liberia and have to stop for one night, for the price is what you get, but again for one night is good
Facilities need to be cleaner
Wifi worked very well in the room. The restaurant, though it had odd hours, served good food, at a reasonable price. The owner is pleasant, but speaks little English. Location is 2 KM or 5 minute drive to LIR airport. The owner drove me to the airport at 4:45 am, earlier than scheduled. She was very accommodating in this regard.
The maintenance staff refused to acknowledge issues I had with locking my door from the outside. Instead of fixing the problem or changing rooms, they blamed me. At $58, including a 5 minute Airport transportation in a rickety van, it is still good value for those who want to be close to airport and who don't mind poor customer service. Overall, it was not as good as the Hostel Dodejero in Liberia I stayed my first night, at $31.
Location to the airport is excellent. The hotel took 10 USD to bring me to the airport, which is pricy considering the distance. For one night before leaving it is perfect.
The noise from the room make earplugs a good option.
Friendly, comfortable place, close to the airport which was great for our late night flight that came into Liberia. Good beds, air conditioning, and very helpful staff.
Some sounds of the highway were audible, but not too bad for a convenient place next to the airport.
Basic but good location to airport. Will book again had a/c and wifi. Adjacent small restaurant
Restaurant closed early
Closest hotel to airport other than the more expensive Hilton. Easy access by Liberia-bound bus from airport.
Restaurant was closed when we arrived at 7:00 pm, but were able to order good take out food that was delivered to our room.
Good place to spend a night - but no more...
Expensive breakfast - best to eat elsewhere...
We were only one night after arriving to Liberia at night. It is good hotel for people travelling to the beaches next day. close to the airport and easy to find.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport as we had an early morning flight. The bathroom was clean and modern, must have been renovated.
We had a car so could drive into Liberia for dinner, but there is nothing close by. It's on the highway and there was some traffic noise. Wifi is not secured.
Friendly staff at reception, we first got a room towards the street (Liberia - Airport) which was very loud, but it was no problem to change to a room in the back of the building. Room and Bathroom is clean! Good location if you need a hotel close to the airport.
If you plan to stay longer than just one night, and want to get to Liberia by taxi, I would recommend to look for an accomodation in Liberia, as a ride costs between 4.000 - 5.000 colones per ride...
Close to airport.
The price quoted was different than what I had to pay.
Clean. Friendly staff.
Next to highway, loud. Thin walls. Can hear everything.
Close to the Airport Friendly and helpful staff
Loud at night as next to a heavily frequented road. Water under the shower was not really warm enough
Friendly, good service, near the airport.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Very efficient, trustworthy. Wake up call for morning was on time. Restaurant closed on day we stayed, no other restaurants close by, can't complain about room rates.good for one night!
Very basic, small rooms, towels very old and rough,no phone in room
Close to the airport
Restaurant was closed no wheels, no food, had to order delivery.
You can catch a bus at the end of the terminal to and from the hotel that runs abiut every 45 minutes.
The front desk was very helpful in figuring out the transportation route from the hotel to La Fortuna.
The taxi charges you more than it should to drive only 2km from the airport to the Santa Ana hotel. You travel longer distance to Liberia for the same price. I recommend to stay in Liberia town if you plan to travel to Guanagaste/Alajuela instead of making a stop over at Santa Ana thinking that you save money on a taxi.
bus stop to the airport across the street, close to the airport, safe, parking. It is okay if you have an early (late) flight and want to sleep somewhere and take a shower.
15 mins by bus to liberia (not suitable if you want to discover the town), no-english staff, noise from the main road, not the cleanest bathroom.
