everything was just perfect

Cecilia was very warm and welcoming and wanted to make sure she met our every need. Her husband picked us up at our car rental place and took us to the airport at 6:15 am (and wouldn't accept tips)! She even arranged for us to have breakfast as early as 5:45 am!

There weren't many shops or restaurants right by the location, but we stayed there only the last night of our vacation and it was not a big deal.

We liked everything about the hotel. Cecelia was GREAT!!,really makes you feel at home. Will definetly re- commend to others.

Great place to stay. This is a family owned motel, and you are treated just like a member of the family who are visiting. Cecilia the owner was fabulous and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She even drove us back to the airport in the morning, after arranging for us to have our rental car picked up at her place. Could not do enough for you. I will always make this my "home away from home" when back to San Jose

San Jose is not an attractive city nor does it have an historic centre. When we visited we chose to stay in the centre and regretted it. When we left we looked near the airport and stumbled onto the Terraz des Golf. Staying there like staying with your family. After just an overnight stay Christina the owner said goodbye as though to a favourite nephew. She arranged our trip to the airport at an early hour with breakfast beforehand. The hotel is delightfully located overlooking the golf course and surrounded by trees. There are facilities all around with restaurants and shops. If you want to visit the city centre it is an inexpensive taxi ride. If Cecilia finds out she will probably offer to take you. If you plan an extended stay Cecilia can also arrange temporary membership of the golf club with its tennis courts and swimming pool. For total balance they do not offer Sky but with free WiFi it was no loss. We would definitely stay there again.

The most accommodating, relaxing, comfortable, thoughtful and truly caring accommodations and owners I have ever had the privilege of stay with.

Beautiful surroundings; beautiful rooms; many personal touches that felt like home - candles, bedding, toiletries, lots of 'extra' touches. Owners paid special, personalized attention to their guests. We could have stayed a week there! Our accommodations were equal to, if not better in some respects, than the Parador.

Cecelia was the most gracious hostess. The kids miss her already. Wonderful way to stay your holiday. Look no further trust me just book it.

Access to San Jose airport, free shuttle, peaceful atmosphere, affordable, and most of all the wonderful ownders - Donya Cecilia and Don Mario. Donya Cecilia went out of her way to drive us around, bake us a cake, take us to a dinner place and pick us up after dinner. It's hospitality at its best. Staff are also very nice, polite, attentive.

My friend and I loved this place. Dona Cecilia was an absolute angel. She picked us up from the airport and was so helpful and knowledgable. She really made our stay memorable. The hotel had an incredible view of a beautiful golf course. Had I known about this place I would have stayed here a few nights instead of just one. I would recommend this place to anybody who is staying in San Jose for the first night of arrival and last night if you're departing from San Jose. It's peaceful and feel very much at home. Honestly, while we were there it felt like we were staying with family. You cannot receive the same kind of attention anywhere else. Thank you Dona Cecil!!!

Was unforgetable experience stay 2 days. Was like stay at "home" or much better! Miss Cecilia is unique person! Never seen a hotel so clean, worm, homely! Direct acces in golf camp.

My friend and I had a perfect last night in San Jose when we stayed here. We were welcomed like family and treated like royalty. The owner is one remarkable lady... so kind, thoughtful and considerate. I would have no hesitation in recommending Terrazas de Golf Boutique Hotel to anyone wishing to stay in San Jose. It is also a perfect pre or post flight venue as it is so close to SJO airport.

Our hostess, Cecelia, was delightful. We were treated to a wonderful traditional drink and snack upon arrival plus a tour of the lovely grounds and hotel. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed a made to order breakfast as well as transport to and from the airport. A great experience.
