Vida Tropical Bed and Breakfast

I liked that it was located near the airport. I was also very pleased that Isabel made my tour reservations for me. She and her staff were very informative and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. :)

Tv remote was missing. :(

We stayed here one night before flying home. The location is convenient and close to restaurants and 15 minutes cab ride to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the early breakfast was great.

Jose's fresh made to order breakfast was a highlight of my entire Costa Rican stay. Kind, intelligent, well traveled owner, at your beck and call and prepared to handle anything.

Very friendly and helpful. Excellent manager who is very professional but so friendly and fabulous breakfast menu.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is very homey and comfortable right down to the friendly courtyard rabbit and shared living spaces to get to know the other guests from all over the world.

Great place like staying with family you want to stay with

Nice place to stay, comfortable rooms ,friendly owners and staff, very handy to the airport. Stayed in the garden cottage , private and comfortable, you do get a bit of noise from the kitchen if people are leaving early in the morning for the airport but earplugs always work under those conditions. Overall a nice three day stay. Thanks Isabelle and helpers. We plan to return after our stay in the Caribbean is over.

Can't really think of anything negative except Costa Rican plumbing is not quite like at home, but we aren't at home.

they went out of thier way to accomodate me . I was very confortable and felt "at home'. it was homey and charming atmosphere They even help guests by sharing and giving info on trips, where to shop, good places to go etc. It was wonderful there.

The staff was very friendly and even introduced me to another guest with similar interests. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was pleasant.

We chose this bed and breakfast, because it was close to the airport. However, getting from the car rental place to Vida Tropical during late afternoon rush hour was horrendous. On top of that, it was hard to find due to the local custom of not using street names. I wish I had taken advantage of their offer to pick us up at the airport and retireve our car rental at a later time.

Super nettes Personal, ich konnte ohne Probleme schon 11Uhr anstelle ins Zimmer. Es wurde auch 5:30 Uhr morgens Frühstück für mich vor meiner Abreise gemacht!

L'accueil était vraiment super et l'emplacement parfait (tout près de l'aéroport). Le personnel s'est occupé de réserver notre taxi pour 4h30 du matin et a fait un suivi pour s'assurer qu'il était en route. On a aussi eu droit à un petit sac de collations/déjeuner/fruits pour notre départ.

Le matelas était inconfortable, on sentait les ressorts au travers.

L'accoglienza dello staff, l'igiene delle camere e la bontà della colazione al mattino (compresa nel prezzo). La disponibilità delle varie persone (io ho conosciuto Isabel e Josè) è stata incredibile: non avevo l'adattatore per la corrente, Isabel me l'ha prestato e mi ha detto di riportarglielo 15 giorni dopo, alla fine della vacanza.... Josè sapeva che al mattino alle 6 sarei partito in autobus, si è svegliato alle 5, ha preparato la colazione per entrambi e mi ha portato alla stazione dell'autobus.. Infine hanno la conoscenza di tantissime escursioni che partono da lì per tutto il Costa Rica: io ho scelto quella di 2 giorni a Tortugero, che è stata veramente valida

L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è la location, cioè la citta di Alajuela. Non è per niente bella in sè e per sè (forse come tutte le città del centro America, ma questo lo riporto per sentito dire, perché non ne conosco altre). E' comunque più vicina all'aeroporto e meno caotica della capitale San Josè.

Una grata experiencia. Definitivamente iinvita a regresar para una estancia mas prolongada.

La relación calidad precio no es buena, demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. El baño estaba fuera de la habitación, daba a la recepción y era utilizado por otras personas según escuchamos

Personnel accueillant, attentionné. On peux discuter avec les autres clients de l'hôtel aussi.

Tarif élevé par rapport à certains logements dans le pays. Tarif de ville ? On a trouvé un bungalow moins cher mais en dehors de la ville.

J'ai trouvé que c'était un peu cher pour le confort. Je cherchais une chambre pour 4 personnes (même chambre) et le site me disais qu'il n'y en avait pas de disponible. Sur place il y avait deux chambres à 4 personnes de disponible.

Staff was enourmoulsly friendly and helpfull. We came in late, but they were waiting for us, explained where we could find something to eat and arranged a taxi for us for 5AM to go to the airport. When we prepared for leaving in the morning, they were waiting for us with coffee and had prepared a plastic bag with breakfast.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal! Frühstück einfach unschlagbar!

La acogida por parte de sus responsables nos hizo sentir muy cómodas, como en casa. Su localización es muy buena.
