I agree fully with Dennis from Gulfport Nicely appointed, Carlos and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. All business owners should take a lesson from Carlos on how to make people feel welcome and spoiled. He has trained his staff to do the same.

The room was spacious and clean, had a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. The location is close to the airport in San Jose so it is a great place for that convenience. Carlos takes care of you like you are family. The driver met us at the airport on time, and that was a big relief. The B&B serves a really good breakfast and Carlos and his staff are very friendly. Vista Los Volcanes made a great first impression on us for our first trip to Costa Rica.

The owner Carlos was very accommodating. He is simply a very Genuinely caring host. He asked questions of what my needs were and made sure I had the answers.

Owner is very helpful and kind and has become a friend of mine during my stay. Staff is excellent. Served me breakfast whenever I wanted and washed my clothes!

Friendly staff and helpful (let us leave our auto after we checked out, so that we could go on a tour) -clean grounds with pleasant surroundings/country side. Enjoyed having hot water for tea and coffee available 24/7-good breakfast. SAFE ENVIROMENT FOR (2) WOMEN TRAVELING. Senior friendly.

Overall had a great experience. I was travelling alone so I valued a lot the shuttle service from the airport (driver was waiting for me even if I arrived late). Then the B&B is a budget friendly hotel so don't expect any luxury but rooms are spacious, comfortable, convenient & above all staff is great ! (thanks again for the delicious breakfast & recommendations on Costa Rica)

Rooms on the ground floor are a bit noisy as people park nearby but overall an excellent budget-friendly hotel.

This is the best place to stay when flying in or out of San Jose, CR. Carlos will go out of his way with transportation at no charge. The rooms were great and the entire facility was immaculately clean. It is an exceptional value.

Friendly owner. Safe inside compound. An owner that was very concerned about our stay and did everything he could to make it pleasant.

Location very difficult to find without a gps locator (actually impossible). Staff that could not speak even a minor amount of English when we arrived late proved problematic.

Loved the place - we were picked up at the airport and were in our rooms in a matter of minutes. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Bathrooms and shower were modern, clean and nicely designed. The personalized service from the owner was great! I would stay there again and would recommend this place to friends.

The rooms are beautiful and well-kept. The location is near the airport and San Jose, but in a quiet town (finding a bottle of wine was not easy). Birds everywhere. Carlos, the owner and the most attentive host I ever met, is the epitome of Costa Rican hospitality. Our only regret was not beginning rather than ending our trip at b&b Vista los Volcanes, as Carlos was full of information and would have helped in planning our week there. We highly recommend this b&b for a one- or two-night stay near the capital. The free airport transfers and excellent breakfasts (varied & included) are also a plus.

The owner Carlos provided true Costa Rican hospitality. Although I was only staying one night, he was extremely friendly, explained how the town was laid out. Also, provides free transportation to the airport no matter how early.... I felt safe and relaxed, enjoyed the free wi-fi/guest computer. This was only 10-15 minutes from the airport and much more relaxing than staying in San Jose. I highly recommend this location.

The facilities are newer, basic and clean. The real treasures are Carlos and his staff, friendly and very hospitable. They made us feel welcome and we look foreward to returning. Highly recommend!

Carlos spoke very good english and was very accomidating. He went out of his way to be sure we enjoyed our stay. He even walked with to a mini mart nearby that roasts their own plantation coffee beans. The owner took us on a mini tour of the operation. We would definately stay here again.

It was very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view from the third floor balcony lounge was amazing. I would definately reccomend this place. It is actually very close to the airport too and i wish i would have stayed there the night before my flight, rather than the place i stayed in San Jose.

The B&B is conveniently located - only a 15 minute drive from the Juan Santamaria Airport. It is a very attractive looking B&B with well maintained rooms and set in a lovely well looked after garden. Very pretty setting. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this establishment for your stay in Costa Rica.

Beautiful, clean and spacious accomodations. Friendly relaxing atmosphere. The owner Carlos ,is so welcomimg, helpful and professional. He arranged an awesome Canopy tour, and even arranged the transportation to and from. We also got into a difficult situation in San Jose with a taxi driver that was lost, we called Carlos at his home and he helped redirect the driver. His self taught english is fluent and that was huge !! I can not stress enough how excellent a host he is. I was nervous when trying to select accomodations in San Joaquin.( I was visiting my daughter that is a student there)The Inn is spectacular and I hope anyone debating about a place to stay reads this and sees the truth and sincerity in these words. I looked forward to each morning as both he and Rosie cheerfully served us a delicious breakfast with wonderful coffee. Loved loved loved our 6 night stay. Thak you Vista Volcanoes...my daughters and I miss you <3 Sad we didnt get a picture with you Carlos:(
