Fast internet, central location.

Cockroaches almost everyday, despite the fact that the hotel was cleaned all the time.

Good size apartments. Possibility to cook in a reasonably well furnished kitchen. Good location next to the sea.

Food quality for breakfast!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, letting us check out late to fit in with our flight departure. The beds, especially the pillows, were very comfortable.

Access could be an issue, as all rooms are reached by at least one steep spiral staircase. We had two flights of those and then a third very steep one from our living room up to the apartment's bedrooms. Breakfast was rather mediocre and served in the rooms due to a lack of dining room. The local fresh coffee was great though!

we stayed a week in two story, two bedroom spaceous appartment with two bathrooms and additional toilet. Modestly, but well enough equipped. Breakfast was served in the room. Daily cleaned and even your dishes were washed. It was more than expected. Staff was nice and friendly.

Breakfast could of have some more variety. It was every day two eggs, bread & butter, cheese & ham, tea & coffee, cereials & milk and one youghurt.

This is not beach front hotel as it was advertised in internet!

The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and not too pricey, the hotel staff was very friendly. The public spaces are gorgeous

The rooms are called suites and therefor quite expensive. But a lot in our room needed repairing

The room I first got on the street front was a bit noisy, and as I am a light sleeper, I moved to the back where it was quieter.

The apartments are nice and spacious. There is a small kitchen and some table ware. The management staff is helpful.

The hotel location is positive

Room quality was way lower than expected. The apartment was poorly equipped. The shower was not working and when I’ve tried to take a bath the entire bathroom became a pool. This level of service can not be offered by 75+EUR.

It is a good located hotel.Standing in a main street and very close to the ocean.From the balcony we can sow ocean.All restourants are in the same street.And small shopping area.All personal are very nice smiling...but they even can say a word in english. Just hotels owner speaking very good english.

Just few thing was not good: sleeping bed was soooo uncomfortabil and loud noise from the street whole night. But in the end of vacation you can accsept that.

The hotel is very comfy and its location is superb. I booked a two-level apartment with a full kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms because that was the cheapest option I could find at booking.com when arranging our trip. We were going to find something smaller and cheaper once we were in Santa Maria, but ultimately decided to stay longer at Aquamarina. That was due to the extraordinary standard of the hotel, its location and - as importantly - its very helpful and forthcoming owners. The hotel is owned by an Indian family who went out of their way to assist us in planning the rest of our trip. Their advice proved to be spot on. As for the location, Aquamarina sits very close to the beach and to the small pier that is the centre of day-time activities on the beach. Another important perk is that the hotel offers great Indian food in a small but nice open-air restaurant on the premises. The Bombay brasserie, as it is called, opens in the evening and is the place to go if you want to eat something really good in the otherwise rather unimpressive cuisine landscape of Santa Maria. The hotel is not cheap, but you get good quality and a warm atmosphere in return.

It has been one of my best vacations ever. If you want to relax and get away from "all inclusive hotels" on Sal, then I can only recommend the hotel. No stress, no noise from streaming children. The staff are excellent and their indian restaurant is worth a visit. You get out own suite and the breakfast is served in the room. So convenient. Again I can only recommend the hotel.

Perfect location, good and large apartments with good kitchen facilities. Perfect for families, kite surfing and divers. Of cource our personal compliments for administrator Yanis. He is extremlly helpful and professional in this job. We will come back.

eigenlijk niets!

De ruimte van keuken en kamer waren ruim van afmeting. Er werd iedere dag schoon gemaakt en nieuw linnen verstrekt.

Misschien het op papier beloofde uitzicht op zee wat er niet was. Daarentegen uitzicht op een bouwplaats waar steeds mensen aant werk waren...

Allgemein: Man sollte darauf achten ein Appartement mit Meerblick zu bekommen. Das Frühstüch hat in 14 Tagen nicht variiert.

Priset var lågt, men man får lite vad man betalar för. Tillmötesgående personal, om än inte någon direkt förstaklassservice. Sköna sängar och sängkläder. Bra dusch och städningen sköttes bra. Vi fick corn flakes till frukost när vi bad om det. Frukosten bars upp till rummet hyfsat punktligt varje dag.

Enahanda frukost, man var rejält trött på den redan efter 3 dagar. Studio "med havsutsikt" är kanske inte vilseledande, men kraftigt överdrivet. Vi fick dessutom en balkong som låg hemskt nära den ena (av två) trafikerade huvudgatan. Helt ueslutet med lugn och ro med fridfull havsutsikt på balkongen! Det fanns kyl och frys, vattenkokare och kaffebryggare men i övrigt dåligt utrustat och någon kokmöjlighet fanns överhuvudtaget inte såsom utlovats!

Werkelijke faciliteiten stonden in geen enkele verhouding tot de geboekte junior suite. Zo had ik geen keuken en TV. Na lang aandringen werd een TV en een koelkast ter beschikking gesteld.

De vriendelijke mevrouw van de receptie. Wat ik super vond; dat ik op mijn verjaardag, toen we in de avond thuis kwamen, twee glazen en een klein flesje cider op tafel stond. Met een heerlijk puddingbroodje en kaart "happy birthday Gijsbertus Meijer"

Aftimmering van de studio/app en de doucheunit (niet de badruimte zelf) Wel koffie bij het ontbijt maar geen koffiezetapparaat in app.

De open en relaxte manier van de eigenaar om écht te willen weten of er punten van verbetering zijn Het Indiaas restaurant is een echte aanrader

Accomodatie is redelijk en voor Afrikaanse begrippen wellicht goed,maar de accomaodatie is nogal sfeerloos . Vreemd dat er geen tv aanwezig is in het appartement. Weinig gaat vanzelf in een keer goed bij het personeel. Er moet contstant om zaken worden gevraagd.

De verantwoordelijke Catarina, deed haar uiterste best om het je naar je zin temaken ondanks... (Zie: tegengevallen) Ze zorgde ook voor een compensatie in de prijs (wel pas na heel wat gezeur)

De info op Booking.com klopte niet met de werkelijkheid: niet alle kamers hebben zeezicht, totaal niet! Wij kregen een kamer met zicht op een muur en een bouwwerf, zònder zon! Na melding konden we kiezen tussen deze kamer of één zonder keuken. We hadden nochtans expliciet gekozen voor aparthotel. We beslisten uiteindelijk voor het balkon mèt zicht omdat we daar graag relaxen en naar de mensen kijken. Nu waren we wèl gedwongen om 2x per dag op restaurant te gaan , iets waar we niet achterstaan en ook niet voor gekozen hadden.

Ligging, personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het ontwerp van het hotel, mooie kleuren. Als je over iets klaagde werd er wel meteen actie ondernomen.Er werd iedere dag goed gepoetst. Heerlijke koffie , die je zelf kan zetten en ook brood

Kwaliteit van hotel, hotel is nieuw maar er waren al een heleboel dingen kapot, screens werkten niet, met mijn eigen broekriem opgelost, douche deur sloot niet gaat alsmede het badkamer raam klapperde snachts. Ontbijt is iedere morgen hetzelfde, geen fruit of vruchtensap.
