Surrounded by mountains, this air-conditioned hotel in the centre of Mindelo, is a 10-minute drive from San Pedro Airport. It is 400 metres from the beach and offers a restaurant and 24-hour reception. Each en suite room includes a minibar and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The rooms are simply decorated and the suites have a balcony. A buffet breakfast is provided by Hotel Don Paco every morning. In the evening guests are invited to relax or enjoy a drink in the hotel bar. Guests also have free access to an outdoor swimming pool, a 2-minute walk away. Recent hotel, kept in good shape - clean and large rooms. Very centrally located. Good breakfast. Reception willing to help (within the rules set by the owner, sometimes quite rigidly). To avoid at all costs during carnival as it is located next to an open air night stage (and the hotel didn't move us to the least affected side of the building as requested in advance). Prohibitive internet (3€/hour).

Excellent Management. Manager mingles with all personell and is very accomodating. We came few days late on our booking. We kept the hotel informed. The manager replied upon our arrival: " Your reservation starts at your arrival". He did not take needless advantage of our situation. All personell speak sufficient English. The hotel is a reknowned Cape Verdian business hotel, also home to the Cape Verdian football team, returning form the Africa Cup. Don Paco Hotel gives you the local taste.

Friendly staff - good location For the Room I was quoted cve 10.560 from Booking. Com however hotel bill was at cve 15.200 which I had to accept in order to leave the Hotel not at all satisfactory

Very good location, right near Marina and also only couple of minutes from centre square of Mindelo. Really good service, room is small but comfortable, bathroom is ok. Also breakfest is quite varied for Cape Verde hotels - so, one more positive moment. Reception service was friendly and responsive - they gave us tips about entertaiment around and also made several phone calls to the airport (to check departure time of our flight to other island) and taxi for us.

Vraiment bien placé, à côté du Port au centre ville. Bâtiment assez neuf, propre et standard. Petit déjeuner correct (buffet). Personnel sympa. Belle vue pour les chambres vers l'avant. Chambre (et l'hôtel dans son ensemble) trop standard, pas chaleureuse et mal insonorisée (bruits du couloir). Vue des chambres arrières dégagée mais pas très agréable (containers, terrain vague). Rapport qualité/prix : trop cher.

La situation de l’hôtel entre le port ferry et le centre. Le buffet de petit déjeuner était bien fourni. L’hôtel a des panneaux solaires pour le plupart des installations électriques. Apparemment ils ne fonctionnent pas bien ou l’hôtel était plein car il avait seulement l'eau chaud autour midi, le frigo ne marchait pas bien non plus. Apparemment l’hôtel n’apprécie pas les réservations par internet car on nous a donné le plus petit chambre dans le coin, même si autres chambres étaient disponibles.

Très bon accueil buffet petit déjeuner très varié confort des chambres Le soucis vient de l'eau chaude pas très chaude et de couleur légèrement marron. C'est le seul bémol.

goede kamer en bedden, dagelijks goed verzorgd. Lekker ontbijtbuffet met sap, vers fruit, brood, quiche, ei (varianten), etc. In centrum gelegen, strand op loopafstand. Zwembad zeer fraai gelegen, maar door groen water niet uitnodigend, zou door het niet gebruiken van chemicalien zijn..

Perfecte ligging, goed ontbijt en menukaart! Foto's van zwembad bevinden zich niet bij hotel maar in de haven. Erg gehorig, vooral 's nachts.

Les centaines de décibels du concert se tenant sous notre fenêtre la nuit de notre arrivée: une seule solution, changer de chambre moyennant un supplément de 20€, soit 60€ pour les 3 nuits. Pas très commerciale non plus la bouteille d'eau de 33cl même pas offerte.

- Lage direkt am Hafen (Fährschiff) - schönes, funktionierendes (!) Bad - Musiklärm wegen Familienfeier bis 4 Uhr morgens - Falsche Auskunft betr. Fährschiff - Kein Geldwechsel an Reception möglich (Wochenende, Banken geschlossen)

Me ha gustado su diseño, limpieza y trato del personal. La eficacia con la que se solucionan todos los pequeños problemas. Calidad precio es lo mejor, con mucha diferencia, que hemos encontrado en Cabo Verde No me gusto que aunque tenían el aviso de despertarnos por la mañana no lo hicieron y casi perdemos el avión. Es más si no se lo hubiese recordado otro compañero, no nos habrían despertado esa mañana. Para mi ese hotel es un 10, pero por este detalle le pongo un 9.

Bien propre gentillesse du personnel qui nous a laissé la disponibilité de la chambre le dernier jour jusqu'à 17 Heures sans supplément. Moderne mais pas bien insonnorisé. Le coffre fort ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre
