I would recommend this location for people who like to relax and explore the beautifull beaches on the west side of the island.

We were 2 girls in our mid-20s, who stayed at BB Blenchi to enjoy a nice and relaxed week on Curacao. We were overwhelmed with the hospitality of the staff at Blenchi and the breath-taking view from the terrace. The location on the island is perfect and we we could address all our questions about good beach spots and tipps for day trips to the staff. The breakfast was amazing and we truly woke up in paradise for a week. We highly recommend this BB!

Beautiful views of ocean. Staff very helpful. perfect location for visiting beaches, and national parks. Off the beaten path and quiet. Great barbeque(optional) on Saturday.

Hard to find

We are a young couple from Europe and we stayed at Blenchi in the small but comfortable air-conditioned budget room in March 2013. The bb Blenchi is located in rather natural and rural part of the island with the best beaches nearby and near the National Park. You can enjoy fresh air, stars at night and peaceful atmosphere, much more pleasant than in Willemstad area with its rafinery and tons of tourists. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Are you feeling hungry or not socialized enough? They can prepare great barbecue for guests for a reasonable price. Do you want to rent a car? You can rent a car at BB Blenchi. Small and savy or powerful one. Maybe the breakfast could be better for the price. But it's more about personal preference. You can still cook in well equiped and clean kitchen. Internet is there obviously, even a mac is available for browsing for free, so you can relax without your computer, what we can really recommend. And the sunset view from terrace... And pool... Yes, we had a really wonderful stay at BB Blenchi and can really recommend it.

We loved Bed and Breakfast Blenchi!!! Our experience was nothing short of fabulous. The rooms were beautiful, clean and sunny and we were away from the big,cookie cutter, touristy hotels. The quiet beach was just across a traffic free street. Breakfast was much better than most B & Bs in the world.(And we've stayed at a zillion) We had complete, unlimited access to eggs, cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, pancakes,coffee, juice and more. Marit, the owner, is such an outstanding human being! Her sparkling personality immediately draws in everyone and she is warm, kind and exceptionally helpful. Be sure to order the special fish dinner because Dudley is a fantastic chef. Petra, a real sweetheart, prepares breakfast if Marit needs to pick up someone from the airport. Marit should give classes on how to run the best B & B!

I liked everything about B&B Blenchi. I don't like resort hotels, but I enjoy comfort and having a special experience while traveling, and that is exactly wha Blenchi provides. We stayed in a beautiful room with a lovely patio overlooking the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, the room had simple and pretty decorations and furnishings, the patio had chairs, a table and a hammock--perfect for watching the sunset over the ocean with a cold drink after a hot day in the sun. The breakfasts are included; they were delicious with several options and changed daily and one day included a surprise! Breakfast is served in a very pretty outdoor area near the pool. You can cook your own dinner in the villa kitchen if you are on a budget or just want to hang out, and there is a mini bar with sweets, snacks, and drinks. The grocery store is nearby and has everything, but there are restaurants close enough to drive to also. We enjoyed The Bistro and the restaurant at Lagun. The best part of being at Blenchi is Marit, the owner. She makes you feel so at home and is a total delight. She organizes a weekend b-b-que that is well worth participating in. The food was plentiful and delicious and some of her friends came, making it really fun. We enjoyed hanging out with the other guests from 3 different countries and meeting more Curacao people at the b-b-que. One other wonderful thing was being able to learn to scuba dive with private lessons that Marit organized for me with a dive master, Judith. Judith is a truly gifted scuba teacher. She works at Discover Diving at Lagun, but also teaches privately. She is professional, enthusiastic, and fun. I learned so much from her, felt so safe with her, and every dive was an incredible experience. She knows the ocean and finds things that an inexperienced diver would miss. If you want to try scuba diving or get certified to scube dive, ask Marit to arrange lessons with Judith.

Nice place-nice people.

Marit was very welcoming and accommodating, and it was a pleasure staying at the Blenchi. Other travelers were friendly as well. Also, it was great being able to keep groceries in the kitchen and cook. Finally, the Blenchi is within walking distance of some great snorkeling that's right off the shore!

I rented a car for the day, and while it was quite convenient, it's more expensive than it should be, and pretty beaten up.

Value for Money. Sympathiek en gezellig. Ongedwongen sfeer. Leiding (Marit) is erg goed voor haar klanten en op een leuke manier. Op loopafstand van rustige, maar mooie duiklocatie (vanaf het strand). Duikspullen beschikbaar. Ontbijt goed en gevarieerd. Torenkamer prachtig gelegen en ruim.

Omgeving wat geisoleerd. In directe omgeving weinig te doen (M.U.V. strand, wandelen en duiken). Een openlucht badkamer is ook echt in de open lucht (wel privacy).

Tout. De l'accueil, au style, en passant par la bonne atmosphère, le tout dans un magnifique décor et enrobé par l'amabilité et le sourire des personnes présentes

Beim Blenchi handelt sich um eine private Villa, die zu einem "bed & breakfast" umgebaut wurde. Die schöne kleine Anlage ist sehr idyllisch gelegen und wird liebevoll gepflegt. Der Außenbereich ist mit Palmen und anderen tropische Pflanzen ansprechend gestaltet. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool mit Liegen, das Frühstück findet unter einem großen schattigen Strohdach mit Blick aufs Meer statt. Die gemeinschaftlichen Räume in der Villa (Küche, Wohnraum und Essbereich) können von den Gästen mitgenutzt werden. De „Tower Suite“ ist ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit privater Terrasse und toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das open air Badezimmer war zunächst ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber eine erfrischende Dusche mit Blick in den karibischen Himmel hat schon was... Ein Leihwagen ist unbedingt erforderlich, um auf der Insel mobil zu sein. Nach Willemstad fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 40 Minuten. Dafür hat man es aber zu den schönsten Stränden der Insel nicht weit (der Strand direkt beim Blenchi ist allerdings nicht so schön). Dadurch, dass die Anlage so klein ist, hat man schnell Kontakt zu den anderen Gästen. Einmal in der Woche findet ein gemeinsames BBQ statt und auf Wunsch bereitet Dudley ein Dinner zu. Eine gute Sache, da die Auswahl an Restaurants in der Nähe nicht sehr gross ist.

ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die m.E. verbesserungswürdig sind: im Bad fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten für Badutensilien (zB ein Regal). Im Zimmer gab es zwar eine geräumige Kommode mit Schubladen für T-Shirts etc. aber keine Möglichkeit, etwas aufzuhängen. Ein "normaler" Kleiderschrank (statt des Vitrinenschranks) wäre mir lieber gewesen.

Rust. Uitzicht. Vrijheid om zelf te koken, te barbequeen of eten te laten verzorgen. De verzorgde maaltijden en barbeque-avonden zorgen voor een gezellige interactie tussen het personeel en gasten.

Het strand direct beneden Blenchi heeft potentie maar is nog niet op orde. Veel mooie alternatieven in de omgeving.

- wenige Steckdosen im Zimmer - im Umkreis vom B&B sind wenige Restaurants und Ausgehmöglichkeiten vorhanden (Mietwagen ist absolut notwendig!)

Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf das Meer, wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge, ruhig, sehr nette Besitzer, reichhaltiges Frühstück

Das Blenchi ist eine tolle Anlage. Marit steckt viel Liebe in ihre Arbeit und das merkt man. Bei Fragen steht sie immer zur Seite und gibt tolle Tipps. Durch ihre freundliche und nette Art fühlt man sich richtig heimelig.
