La Maya Beach Curacao    

Truly enjoyed our stay. I would not have changed a thing. Marcel and Annemarie (the owners) were very hospitable but not overbearing.

I thought the price was about $30 high per night but I would certainly stay here again

Far away, terrible and dirty beach

We booked a 10day stay (honeymoon) at La Maya. Before arrival, we had contact with Annemarie, who was able to answer all of our questions and was very helpfull. Upon arrival, we were picked up at the airport as promised. La Maya is owned by Marcel & Annemarie, and they have been very kind and helpfull during our stay. Wether we had questions regarding the island or needed some local information, they help us in such an enthousiastic way. The resort is private and small and is very beatifull. The apartment itself is luxurious and spacious. This has to be one of the best places to stay if you ever want to visit Curacao!

We can't think of anything that wasn't good, all of our expectations were met or even exceeded!

I just want to say that ther is no place in curacao more beautiful like la maya beach. max an anne marie thank you for give us such A beautiful days with all the comfort. stay in la maya beach is like heaven.

The rooms and pool were lovely, and as described. Anne-Marie (who works in the office) was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The website describes it as "beach front", but the beach is artificial, so my son could not dig there. Also, the water is pretty murky, and didn't seem good for swimming.

The hotel is located in a upscale area of Curaçao and is right on a bay (Spanish Water). The view from the balcony is great and the apartment offers plenty room for a family or 2 couples plus a full kitchen (no microwave though).

Beds are OK, not great. Air conditioning of room is not that powerful and it takes a while to refrigerate. There were an incident occurring with the glass-door on the balcony leaving me locked from the inside out. I had no phone or keys on me and I stayed on the second floor (easy to get down to the floor if needed) and so had to call for help. The owner came down and was visually annoyed and bothered with the occurred and even said that there was nothing he could do because I had left the key on the main door (as any other person does as walking into their apartments) and said that was "SO STUPID". After leaving me standing on the balcony for over one hour and saying he had phoned people to come open the door but could not estimate the time finally the other owner (his wife) came being very polite and understanding with the locksmith who opened the door. I should expect that a place so well rated would offer a better service especially when incidents happen.

Peaceful setting with good views and plenty of wildlife to look at. Extremely well appointed and clean both inside and out. Welcoming and friendly hosts.

Top quality apartments, very quiet and relaxed and very friendly and helpful staff.

At the waterfront of "Spanish Water" but remote from any shops, restaurants etc. So you absolutely need a rental car because there is nothing in walking distance.

The staff was very attentive, the facilities were spotless. Very comfortable room.

We appreciated stay at La Maya Beach. They are the greatest hosts we ever had. The complex is just perferct if you like a place more quiet and relax.

Fantastic apartment with good pool, very modern and clean, great view from the 1st floor, close to nice beaches. We had a great time there.

We were not given the opportunity to use an apartment to shower after check out prior to our evening flight, which is rather surprising especially at this price level. Wifi connection weak.

nice apartments, fully complete with all we need to stay in vacations! Staff are friendly and outstanding .....prompt support and smile everywhere. Good space inside on rooms, kitchen and living. We dont need nothing, everything we can found inside (including dishwashing and clothing washing items!!! Very great days!!

prachtig appartement met grote veranda en zeer goed ingericht met alle gebruikelijke luxe. we zaten op de 1e verdieping, denk dat de bg iets minder vrij zal zijn maar met hele kleine kindjes wel weer makkelijk. app. was vooral een uitvalsbasis met aan het eind van de dag lekker zwemmen.

Excelentes apartamentos com uma ótima infraestrutura. Outro fator importante foi o excelente atendimento prestado pela equipe do hotel, em especial do Sr. Marcel e da Sra. Annemarie que foram extremamente prestativos.

A distancia das principais praias da ilhas. Mas isso, nao chegou a ser um impecilho, pois o uso de carro na ilha se faz necessario.

Aankomst voor een dicht hek ivm vertraging, na 45 minuten eindelijk iemand te zien. Bij poort stond dat je een nummer moest bellen.! De beheerder is zeer onvriendelijk en arrogant! Hij presenteert zich als politieagent, alsof je verantwoording aan hem schuldig bent waar je naar toe gaat. Belachelijk! Zegt dus duidelijk dat het geen hotel hier is! Maar een prive plek! Dus voor ons hoeft het nooit meer. Prachtige plek, maar zeer onvriendelijke ervaring!

Vue très agréable sur la Spanish Water. Cadre vraiment très apreciable et calme. Appartement propre avec du mobilier et du matériel neufs. Ménage et lits faits tous les jours. Serviettes changées tous les jours. Très pratique d'avoir lave linge et sèche linge. Piscine sympa. Et pour finir les propriétaires sont accueillants et avenants.

Accueil très sympathique par les managers. Piscine et site super bien entretenu. Amenagement de l'apartement très moderne, confortable et jolie. Propreté assurée tous les jours par la femme de chambre. Tout ce qu'on a besoin pour passer des vacances relaxantes à deux.

Aanrader! Heerlijke vakantie gehad met mijn vriendin in La Maya Beach. Het complex is zeer netjes verzorgd, de accomodaties van alle gemakken voorzien en de gastvrouw en gastheer zijn altijd beschikbaar voor vragen. La Maya Beach is lekker rustig gelegen aan het Spaanse Water, ideaal om even lekker bij te komen. Alle highlights van het eiland zijn met de auto makkelijk te bereiken vanuit La Maya. Geen enkel minpuntje kunnen ontdekken. Ga zo door!
